"I can't really believe that my brother is already getting married!" I huffed as I quickly paid for the jewelry that I bought from the store.

"Thank you, madame! Please come back" The salesperson told as I went outside of their store. I didn't bother to reply because it is not necessary.

Tomorrow will be the wedding of my brother and Maria Eleonor. My brother said that if I want to attend their wedding. I at least need to wear some formal attire and jewelry.

Actually, I have some formal dresses at home but they are too small for me because it's been a year since I wore those kinds of clothing.

Gabriella's face is top-notch, so I don't need to buy some makeup. Thanks to my parent's genes, I will live as a beauty even if I will wear a rag. Although it's quite troublesome because I have to deal with my suitors...

"Gab!" I heard a woman called my name. A beautiful woman with ocean blue hair called me. She is waving her hands for me to notice her. "Gab! Come here!"

I sigh as I went in her direction. "Hello, Melissa. What do you need?" I asked the blue-haired woman. Her deep blue eyes sparkled while she is looking at me. "Here we go again" I whispered.

"You're brother is getting married! When will you going to marry me?" She held my hands and brought them to her cheeks. "Gabby? Marry me please?" I rolled my eyes on her as I pulled my hands away from her.

Melissa is one of our loyal benefactors. Although she looks like a cute little lass, she is actually sly in business. Her brother, Leonardo is an influential person at the merchant guild and in the world of business.

I met them when I ran away from our household. Their parents are the ones who help us at that time but of course, I also paid them with my knowledge and their family became more influential, I also used their connections to successfully hide from my father.

Ah, look at them. Their children became successful now.

"I won't marry you, little lass. Go and find a handsome man to marry you. I am straight" I replied to her.

Melissa pouted her lips as she looks at me. "You're harsh. Whenever I am asking you to marry me, you're always saying that. Whenever you order some stuff from me, you're always sending that winter-faced woman to come instead. You are avoiding me"

"You mean my future sister-in-law?" I asked. "Maria isn't that cold, stop calling her winter-faced"

"But she is to me! Gabby! That white-haired woman is so-so-so cold towards me. She would often glare her icy eyes on me as if she's telling me to back off!" Melissa crossed her arms. "I thought she'll become my rival to you, Good thing that your brother will marry her tomorrow"

I mentally chuckled when Melissa began to complain to me. The truth is she's right about me avoiding her. I am purposely sending Maria whenever I order things to Melissa.

The reason is pretty obvious. Melissa is a bit... Lesbian?

Whenever she sees me, she will always ask my hands in marriage. She said that I am the prettiest human in her eyes. An angel who came down from heaven, even her brother Leanardo finds it weird.

However, even Melissa acts like this. She is kind and precious. I also think that she is not really in love with me. She only finds me as a friend with whom she doesn't want to be separated with.

I placed my hands on her head "Whatever you say" I said. "I'll be going now, We have to prepare for tomorrow. You and your family are invited to Gabriel's wedding." I said as I tapped her head gently.

Her face began to blush. "Alright! We will bring a lot of gifts!" She quickly ran away when she said those words.

"That's how I like it" I smirked.

I shook my head as I turned around.

I decided to wander around before I go home. I buy some snacks to enjoy and did some window shopping. I need to think of something interesting to make a new trend in the business world. Since Maria is now pregnant, I am sure that our expenses will expand too.

I don't even know if Gabriel and Maria will plan to separate from me once they got married.

Hmm, speaking of couples.

I am sure that the Male lead and the Female Lead of the novel, got their happily ever after three years ago. We are saved from the original plot...

And I am confident that Maria won't become the wicked villainess anymore. Judging by how she looks on my lil'bro. In the novel, her love for the male lead is destructive... but whenever she utters I love you's to my brother.

It was so pure that even a bitter woman like me would want to have someone like her.

HA! Romance. I wanna get married too! Look at me! I am too old...

"If you don't have money, you should not have bought that! Peasants! I can't believe your noble look deceived me!"

I snapped away from my thoughts when I heard that loud voice.

"HEY! Watch your mouth! You don't know who are you talking to!"

"I don't care! Pay me or else I won't hesitate to cripple you two!"

My feet quickly followed where that commotion is from. I noticed two tall men wearing a shabby commoner's cloth, they are standing before a fat familiar vendor.

The fat man kept blabbering nonsense.

"Huh? Isn't that James?" I asked when I saw the fat vendor. "That foolish pig. His temper hasn't changed at all. I thought Leonardo sent him to prison?" I frowned when I remember that f*cking bastard. That fat vendor is one of my suitors.

He hasn't done anything bad to me yet but to Melissa... He tried to harass her, that's why Leonardo sent him to prison. I wonder how he gets out of the prison? Well, despite of his disgusting looks, that pig has some connections too.

Should I step in?

I glanced at the two men standing right in front of that pig. The man who answered James has chocolate brown hair, while the other man has hair...

"As white as snow...?"

I quickly stepped into the commotion. "YOU B*LLCRAP PIGMAN!" I shouted while angrily pointing my fingers at James. "How did you escape from prison?! You even dare to create a commotion here! Hah! Can't believe that Leonardo and Melissa let such things happen!'

"G-G-GABRIELLE?" James asked in shock.

"Who else? Someone! Help this man escaped from prison! Call the guards!!!" I shouted. The people around me easily fell from my scheme and dragged the pig out of here.

"Damn! That's why he looks familiar! That bastard is a rapist!' Someone shouted from the crowds.

"Tie him and call the guards! People like him deserve to die!"

I shrugged my shoulder when they started to tie him. Well, they are right when they said that James is a rapist. There is nothing wrong with their judgment.

"Madame, Thank you," The chocolate-haired man told me when the commotion finally ended. "How should we repay you?"

"No need, That man is a real bullcr*ap anyway" I replied. The chocolate-haired man startled me when he heard me said that. He cleared his throat as he gazed at the white-haired man. "Madame you're way of talking is a bit.."

"Vulgar?" I said. I chuckled when the man simply nodded. "I apologize. Anyway, I will be blunt. Are you a noble?"

The two of them look shocked when I said that.

The man with the snow-colored hair...

I know that he is noble.

To be precise, He is a Chavez.

He looks young and handsome. I am certain that this man must be Maria's cousin.

I remained calm when I felt something sharp, pointed at my neck. "Who are you? How did you know?" The chocolate-haired man asked me. He must be a knight or a guard?... I'm not sure because he doesn't have a sword right now.

I slowly pushed that sharp knife away from me. "What do you mean how did I know?" I pointed my finger at the white-haired man. "That man's hair is color white. How could I not know it?"

"What?"

"What do you mean what? You're from the Chavez family right?" I asked them.

"Impossible!" He said. "We are wearing a magic disguise, how could you..."

"Allan, Enough," The white-haired man said to the chocolate-haired man. His voice brings chills to my bone. He turned his back on us as he walked away.

"Should I silence her, Your---"

"No need" The white-haired man glanced at me. "That woman has a connection to the master of the merchant guild," He said. "We can't challenge Leonardo. I still need him"

Does he know Leonardo's Identity? As the merchant guild's master, Leonardo's Identity should be hidden. Even if you are a Chavez, Leonardo won't easily leak his real identity unless that person is really important.

I was careless when I mentioned the sibling's name, he probably noticed that I have some connection to that man when I mentioned their names...

AH! The fact that he noticed my connections with the merchant guild's master... Bro, you're good in deductions!

"Leaving already? You're probably lost and you probably lost your money too" I said. I quickly took out a pouch of copper and threw it at the back of the white-haired man.

He surprisingly managed to catch it with his left hand. "I will pay you once we met again, My Lady," The man said in a calm tone. "Let's go, Allan"

The man obediently followed the white-haired man's orders.

"Yes. Your Grace" The man said.

I froze. Wait, What does he mean by that?

I watched the two walk away and slowly disappeared into my eyes. My mouth was hung open while trying to organize my thoughts.

That Allan boy called the white-haired man 'Your Grace'...

HAHAHA, I must be crazy... I think I heard him wrong...

That man looks young! It's impossible that he is the Duke right? I mean Maria's father must be in his forties!

That man can't be the WHITE-HAIRED DADDY!
