Almost immediately after his duel with Alex, Chad was arrested yet again, with the additional charges of attempted murder, unlawful trespassing, and breaking and entering added to his ongoing trial. Why were these last two charges added? Because Alex testified that Chad had broken into his casino, while carrying the swords, and demanding a duel to the death with Alex.

He had even bribed the security of the casino to corroborate his story, and edit the security footage to show that Alex had not actually entered the Casino with the bag that was used to carry the swords.
