An Awkward Situation

Later that night, Ji-An returned to her apartment, where she was rather annoyed with the way Mimi's date with Alex had gone. After all, she expected the man to do something shameless, and to swoop in and catch him in the act, so that she could get Mimi to break up with him.

Yet Alex had done no such thing, nor had he made any crude or crass remarks, that might corrupt Mimi's mind. In fact, he had gone out of his way to make sure every word he spoke was rated PG. This had stunned Ji-An, who expected Alex to do something like grope the girl, or kiss her without her consent.

She honestly had no idea how a douchebag like Alex could contain his urges. Or why he was even bothering doing so. He could pretty much get an inexperienced girl like Mimi to do whatever he wanted. And yet there was really only a single word that could describe the relationship between Alex and Mimi: Wholesome.
