Villain Support Agency ( On Hiatus )

In a world where superhumans and villains clash with epic regularity, a secret organization exists, hidden in the shadows, known only as the Villain Support Agency (VSA). Enter the Villain Support Agency, a clandestine organization that offers guidance, training, and resources to aspiring supervillains. Led by the enigmatic council, the agency is a melting pot of diverse and unconventional individuals with extraordinary abilities, all united by their shared desire to challenge the status quo. Frustrated with the seemingly untouchable heroes and their self-righteousness, the protagonist of the story, Carl, joined the agency as a handler, a person that helps the villains out and does his best to do what is best for them. As Carl becomes acquainted with this new underworld, he encounters many characters, each with their own motivations and ambitions. From the mischievous trickster to the mastermind strategist, Carl learns that villains are not just one-dimensional evildoers but complex individuals driven by their own desires and dreams. One faithful day, Carl gains an opportunity to not only become better at his job and rise through the ranks of the organization quickly, but to become much more than a simple 'handler'.

The Calculated Confrontation: Risky Encounter with a Deadly Villain

'No, not insane, just a man with a goal, and a plant that might potentially kill me.' I said with a calm voice before continuing forward. I understood why the system was acting as it was, after all, I, a person that currently has the strength of a D-grade, am going to try and meet a C-grade villain that I previously pissed off.

What can I do, even though she is physically stronger than me, is faster, and possesses a powerful ability, with the items that Blorg has given me, I think I can survive the encounter in the off chance she decides to attack me.

Of course, I wasn't dumb, I wasn't going to go to her place, that would be a death sentence.

No, I was planning on meeting her in a public space, in an area where she won't try attacking me. After all, I doubted she was a person that would simply start attacking me with civilians around.

She was a person that had stopped doing everything for over a week upon killing the D-grade hero in an act of self-defense, she wouldn't simply start slaughtering people left and right because somebody she disliked appeared in front of her, wanting to talk to her.

'It's gonna be a long ride, I'm going to need quite some time in order to reach Isabella while she was working and there weren't a lot of guests in the café.' I thought as I stepped on the gas upon reaching the highway.

A 14-hour drive was nothing to scoff at, but luckily for me, taking the pills had made me not only quite strong but also made it possible for me to be active for much longer without needing sleep.

I still slept fairly regularly, with the exception of sleeping a bit less than before since I didn't need to. It was more because of the routine of going to bed at the usual time than anything else, to be honest.

As I drove toward the city of Linster, I was still racking my brain in order to figure out what exactly I was going to say and do when I met Isabella. She was a dangerous enemy to have, and I really wish she would just listen calmly and not put me on a list of people she wishes to kill, although that wasn't that probable.

She wasn't a dangerous person, no, actually, I take that back, she was dangerous, she just wasn't a psycho or an inherently violent person, which sets her apart from many other villains who are borderline lunatics.

Yeah, I got used to working with such people, so meeting even one villain that is slightly normal is quite something for me. I hope she doesn't try to kill me, I really do.

'Hey system, with the sword, gun, and the T-Shirt that Blorg has sent me, could I fight against a C-grade hero or villain on even footing?'

[ Depends on whether or not they have some items too. ]

[ A normal C-grade, that is just using their own powers is possible for you to contend against with the items, but if they have any items, then it's hard to say. ]

'You already know her ability, so tell me, if Isabella tries to kill me, can I survive?'

[ If the host only focuses on running away and surviving, then yes, there is a chance you can do it. ]

'Good, that makes this a bit easier, a bit less pressure on me.'

[ The chances of you surviving are not that high though ]

'Of course not, why would they be, right?'

Dammit, it was only now, after already driving for over 2 hours that I'm starting to second-guess myself. But still, I'm not going to turn away, if I manage to get Isabella, my future will be incredibly bright, I have to do this, no matter what.

Do I really need to risk my life though, there are other talented villains that I could … no, this is what I chose, this is what I'm going to do.

The chances of her attacking me in the café are abysmally low anyway, so I can safely go to the café, the problem was what would happen after that and whether or not she would follow me and attack me later.

"Aaaaaaaaa!!!"

[ What the hell man?! ]

The system shouted at me as my sudden scream, which was more my shout of war, a shout that had all my convictions, all my fears and hopes, all my-

[ You're bloody insane, you're a lunatic, you're even crazier than the villains you handle you idiot!! ]

Well, I wouldn't go that far, damn, why are you being so angry now?

[ Idiot, idiot, idiot, idiot … ]

And so, for the next 3 minutes, yup, three entire minutes, the system continued calling me an idiot. I even got used to it just when she stopped doing it.

After driving for about 8 hours, I stopped.

It was currently 4 in the morning, and well, I was hungry, and since there was a restaurant right in front of me, one that worked 24/7, I decided to get something to eat. I parked my car, glanced around the area, making sure it was safe, and went inside.

"Hello, my name is Christy, what would you like to order?" A petite waitress came to me and asked with a smile.

"I'll have the barbecue chicken breasts, the drumstick, some baked potatoes, and a Caesar salad."

Christy blinked in surprise after hearing my order. I order quite a lot for one person, not to mention it was 4 am, the time when most people would have a light meal and continue with their trip, but ever since I have become a superhuman, I started eating more and more food.

The waitress told me I had to wait at least 15 minutes for my food, the Caesar salad would arrive faster though, so I had at least something to munch on while waiting. Of course, something had to go wrong.

Just as I was about to enjoy the salad, I saw the face of the waitress change as she looked outside. I turned back and saw a group of 5 around my car, which made me sigh before I got up.

"No, sir, please don't go out," Christy said as she came to me.

"Those guys have been causing trouble for the last couple of days, but they don't dare cause trouble inside this restaurant, we have alerted the authorities already, they should arrive in about 10 minutes and drive them away.

"And in that time, I guess I need to watch them try and break into my car, huh?" I asked Christy who sighed.

"It is for your own safety sir."

"Right, just like how you calling those guys was for my safety as well, huh?" I asked Christy as her face suddenly changed. Before she could do anything, I grabbed her throat with my left hand and lifted her up.

"I really hoped I was mistaken, to think I would be subjected to one of the dumbest scams ever, you get the customer settled, call your friends so they can try stealing the customer's belongings, all the while talking to the customer, telling them you called the cops, which you definitely did not do, and tell the customer that the five men outside are dangerous, am I right?"

As a handler for the VSA, I was well-versed in scams and many tricks criminals used. They are useless when it came to villains, but some villains even enjoyed doing them, either to normal people, or sometimes heroes.

I remember the one time an A-grade villain continued calling and scamming an A-grade hero and his family, causing them to not only get a ton of stress but even lose some money.

Fake calls about their bank accounts, about their car being stolen and spotted miles away, hundreds of texts, e-mails, and calls about their car's extended warranty…

It did little to nothing to the hero, but the villain got a kick out of it and really enjoyed annoying the poor bastard who had promised to catch him and give him the worst beating of his life.

Both of them died months later when they fought, so the story doesn't have a happy ending though.

I got out and walked over to the five who had already noticed me when I grabbed Christy by her neck.

"What the hell you think you doing man, huh?" One of the five thugs, who only wore a wife beater and some sweatpants, asked as he stepped toward me. He stared at me, and since I continued walking over to them, two of them reached into their pockets and took out a knife.

"I really wish you hadn't done that," I said with a sigh before lunging at them. Thanks to my stats, I was more than powerful enough to kill a normal person in a single punch, but I didn't want to do that here, it would cause me some unwanted attention.

I appeared in front of the five men in an instant before slapping the first guy with about 50% of my strength. Even that proved to be a bit too much as the guy spun in the air as blood came out of his mouth, a couple of teeth even fell out, and upon seeing that, the rest quickly froze and dropped their knives.
