Villain Support Agency ( On Hiatus )

In a world where superhumans and villains clash with epic regularity, a secret organization exists, hidden in the shadows, known only as the Villain Support Agency (VSA). Enter the Villain Support Agency, a clandestine organization that offers guidance, training, and resources to aspiring supervillains. Led by the enigmatic council, the agency is a melting pot of diverse and unconventional individuals with extraordinary abilities, all united by their shared desire to challenge the status quo. Frustrated with the seemingly untouchable heroes and their self-righteousness, the protagonist of the story, Carl, joined the agency as a handler, a person that helps the villains out and does his best to do what is best for them. As Carl becomes acquainted with this new underworld, he encounters many characters, each with their own motivations and ambitions. From the mischievous trickster to the mastermind strategist, Carl learns that villains are not just one-dimensional evildoers but complex individuals driven by their own desires and dreams. One faithful day, Carl gains an opportunity to not only become better at his job and rise through the ranks of the organization quickly, but to become much more than a simple 'handler'.

The Battlefield in Front of the Agency Branch: Unleashing Powers

"Carla was the one that brought Angela into whatever relationship we have, so no, she wouldn't be bothered at all, she actually might get happy from this," Carl said in a calm manner as he leaned to the side and waited for the elevator to get them to their destination.

Among the 20 people present, most had only one thought.

'Lucky freaking bastard!'

Even Lucius and Markus had to admit they were a bit jealous, but they didn't show it on their faces. After all, Carla was very high up in the agency, so high that neither one of them knew just what rank or position she held in the agency.

The only thing they knew was that she outranked them by a lot, and compared to her, both of them were nothing but bugs that she could squish at any moment if she wanted to, even if they did nothing to provoke her and she ended up killing them, she probably wouldn't face any repercussions for it.

The elevator finally arrived, and all of them went out.

They got in front of the building and looked to the side, where the monsters were supposed to come from.

"About 600 meters away." One of the C-grades said as the others all nodded.

"Any casualties?"

"Oh yeah, hundreds of dead so far."

"That's probably the reason why it took them so long, those bastards probably had a feast with the civilians."

The lighthearted conversation they had made Isabella a bit uncomfortable.

Compared to the others, she didn't wish to harm anybody, nor did she want to see civilians being hurt. Even talking about it made her a bit sad, so hearing how the men behind her were talking made her a bit angry even.

"Enough, get ready, the monsters will arrive shortly," Isabella said as she glanced back with a cold expression, making the C-grades nod and go quiet.

She had unintentionally expelled some of her frost, making the temperature drop, and that was enough to make them understand that she wasn't a B-grade villain only because she joined the lab.

Isabella's ability and the amount of flux she had in her body were more than enough for her to be a B-grade villain, it was mostly her lack of any real fighting experience that was holding her back.

Carl smirked at the sight before looking forward and taking a deep breath.

He had trained in martial arts in the past, so fighting was nothing new to him, but this time, he wouldn't be fighting a normal opponent, but a monster that wanted to do nothing else but kill and eat him.

Even when fighting against the D-grade hero from before, Carl was still calm and collected as the enemy was not aiming to kill him from the very start, not to mention that both Isabella and Carla were present, so it was almost impossible for him to die during the battle.

Even if he wasn't able to see Carla anywhere during his battle, he knew she was watching and that she could stop the battle at any time, so he wasn't that tense back then.

But now he would be fighting a B-graded monster, compared to the hero he fought, the enemy was not only much more powerful, but it was also going to aim for the kill right away.

He had no help, everybody would be preoccupied with dealing with their own respective enemies, so if he messed up and got in a dangerous situation, nobody would be able to save him.

As time passed, rumbling could be heard from the front as the ground started shaking slightly.

They could hear loud noises coming from the front, and the screams of people who were currently getting slaughtered by the monsters made their way over to them.

Some people even ran toward them as they saw how they were simply standing there and waiting for the monsters. Some even thought they were heroes who had come here to save them, but upon coming over to them and seeing how they simply glanced at them before ignoring them, some of the C-grades even pushed them aside and told them to get lost if they don't want to die, they quickly realized that they were wrong with their initial thoughts.

Nobody really bothered dealing with the civilians, not even Isabella.

She knew that from the moment she joined the agency, she was no longer going to be a regular person. She would need to get her hands dirty and even do some unspeakable deeds, but for her mother, she was willing to go through it, she was willing to do anything.

Finally, some of the buildings in front of them crumbled as the monsters became visible to them.

Over a hundred monsters appeared, and luckily, most were D-grade and below, with only about 16 being C-grade monsters.

Markus merely glanced at them before taking a step forward.

"Let's go, the big guy is mine, I'll try to divert his attention quickly and get him away from you."

"The defenses of the building will activate soon, as long as you guys hold off the C-grades and some of the tougher D-grade monsters, they should suffice to keep the other monsters away from the building."

Markus suddenly kicked the ground and launched himself forward as the others all charged as well.

They were coming closer and closer to the monsters, and it was obvious which ones were the B-grade monsters.

They were larger than the other monsters, but smaller compared to the biggest one, which was the A-grade monster that Markus just clashed against.

It stood on six legs and looked like a giant turtle that, instead of a normal shell, had a large boulder on its back. Each of the six legs the turtle had was about 2 meters wide and it stood at a height of 13 meters. It was a behemoth that was able to destroy buildings with ease simply by charging at them.

Its head was similar to a snapping turtle, with the main difference being the metallic beak, as well as the horn it had on its head.

The B-grade monsters were smaller, the tallest amongst them was a monster that looked similar to a gorilla, it was about 8 meters tall and its fur looked like flames that were dancing on it. The gorilla was jumping around and spewing flames from its mouth, which would also hurt the monsters who would roar in pain and get away from it.

The second monster was one that slightly resembled a human. It stood on two legs, and had a muscular torso and two arms, but its head was not a human head. Its legs were thick and muscular, and it had what looked like normal toes, if one was to exclude the fact they were completely black, had a metallic sheen, and that very thick, relatively long, and sharp claws were coming out of them.

The arms were long, long enough to reach its knees and very long and thin claws were coming out of them while its head, well … it had two heads.

One head resembled a wolf's head, while the other one was similar to a crocodile's head, which was incredibly weird since the monster didn't have scales or anything else that resembled a crocodile or any reptile at all.

The third monster was only 5 meters tall, but it was quite long. The monster looked like a giant feral cat, with the exception of its fur being metallic and two large horns coming out of its head. The monster had no ears, and it had four legs, each one being devoid of any fur, instead, they were covered by thick skin that was brown in color.

'System, which one is the most dangerous, and which one do you think I should take on?'

[ The cat is the strongest, and that's the one I recommend you fight again. ]

'At least try to make it less obvious that you wish to kill me.'

[ The host misunderstands, that the monster is definitely the most powerful, but the host has the winds of desolation, after using it, any of the three monsters will be equal in power. ]

'What the hell does that mean?'

[ The host will understand after using the winds, I recommend you use them as soon as the battle starts. ]

'Alright.' Carl sighed before glancing over at Isabella and Lucius.

"The cat is mine, you guys can decide which one to take on."

Carl sped up and charged at the giant cat as Lucius tried to speak, but stopped himself.

"Is something the matter?" Isabella asked as she got ready to attack.

"That monster, it's probably the strongest B-grade, I was going to fight it myself, but it seems Carl is quite determined to go against it."

"Don't worry, I'm sure he has a plan," Isabella said before launching a wave of frost that suddenly froze a couple of monsters and made a short wall in front of them.

Carl glanced at her and nodded his head before suddenly using his first ability.
