Villain Ch 1198. Not That Desperate
The other girls watched her leave, some of them scoffing, others muttering under their breath, but Sophia kept her head high, refusing to show any hint of frustration. Once the door clicked shut behind her, the room burst into murmurs and whispers.
"What's wrong with her?" one of them muttered, folding her arms and shaking her head.
"She's really desperate," another replied, sighing in exasperation. "I mean, who just announces their target like that?"
One of the others snorted, smirking. "Desperate doesn't even cover it. Did you see how she acted? Like she's above all of us. At least we're not that obvious."
Another girl shook her head, a small smile on her lips. "Hey, we're desperate too, but not as bad as her. Not by a long shot."
The rogue who had spoken up earlier rolled her eyes, adding in a whisper, "But it's obvious she's dead set on him, huh? Like, she's not even pretending to play it cool."
