Chapter 13. The Confessions Answer...

He looked like he was going to start to cry. "I'm scared that you might disappear again and never come back without me telling you my feelings." I felt relieved that it wasn't about my disappearance, but now I'm terrified! The uneasy feeling got stronger from the confession, whoever was watching me, they were upset, at least I'm pretty sure they are. I sat there, a little stunned and worried, not thinking of an answer to give him but a reason to go home and avoid his confession.

(Y/n)'s Pov-

'What do I even say?' "Kiri... I-." I try and find a reason to get out of this situation. "I forgot I had to talk to someone today! I don't have my phone on me, we should head back quickly."

He looked confused and upset as I got up and picked up some stuff to carry back. "You can use mine-" I cut him off in a panicked shout. "NO!... I mean... I just, I have something on my phone I have to send Mina, I can't remember what, so I saved it on my phone." I gave a nervous laugh as I smiled at him.

"Okay, then. We can continue this conversation later I guess." He gets up and looks slightly to his side with his hand on his neck, he looked like a sad puppy. He grabs the rest of the stuff and we start walking home. The whole walk home was silent, Kiri walked behind me, I feel bad... I should have said something better.

We arrived home and I put everything away while Kirishima went to his room. I sigh and slump down to the ground, my back to my bedroom door. 'Do I even like him? He is a nice guy, and he's been there for me.' My head started to ache from the stress and worry.

'And if I do turn him down, things would just be awkward. I should sleep on it, my head hurts too much to think.' I get up and lay on my bed, falling asleep at once. I had a nightmare similar to the last, Izu behind me, while I stood in shock and fear seeing all my friend's lifeless bodies. I kept waking up from the same nightmare every time I tried to go back to sleep.

I woke up around 6:30 A.M. and decided to give up on trying to sleep. I went into the kitchen and made some coffee to at least wake me up a little bit. I got my coffee and sat down at the kitchen table. 'What do I do with the whole situation... I have Izu wanting to kidnap me and Kiri wanting to date me.' I look at my coffee and put my head in my hand.

'I'd hate to think of what Izu would do if I did agree. He had no problem traping me, so he'd probably have no problem doing whatever to Kiri. I'm still curious as to how I've escaped so easily, why'd they let me go instead of telling Izu my attempt.' My attention was drawn to a door opening, it was Kirishimas' bedroom door. Kirishima walked into the kitchen and stopped at the entrance to smile at me.

"Good morning, princess!" I couldn't help but smile at the nickname, it was nice to see him smile even though it is a little awkward between us. "'Morning, dragon! I made you coffee." He entered the kitchen and got the drink, thanking me for making it before he took a sip.

'Should I agree? He might get hurt..heck either way he'd get hurt. I don't want it to be awkward, either.' It was silent for a few minutes, it was uncomfortable. "..Yes..." I said under my breath, I could tell he heard me.

"What?" He said confused why I said that. "I'll be with you....as your lover." His eyes widen in excitement and happiness. "REALLY?!" He hugs me almost spilling his coffee, I caught only a glimpse of his eyes, he was about to cry.

"I'm so happy, (Y/n)! I love you so much." He pulled away and gave me a peck on the lips, I was shocked for a little bit as he got up. "Well, what do you want to do today? I can talk to anywhere you want, my treat!"

He was like a little kid on Christmas day, I smiled at him. "Why don't I treat you for once? I feel bad for spending your money. Also, I owe you anyways." He thought for a moment before pulling me up out of the chair I was in to pull me very close to him.

"What about a carnival? They opened one a few days ago." I nod and he pulls away. "It's settled, then!" His smile was brighter and bigger than normal, it was like this was the best day of his life from what I could tell.

"Let's go get ready."

'I hope I made the right decision...'
