Villain : Conquest

Author: Lone Raut Synopsis: When I was alive, I was just another name on a serial killer's twisted list—who targeted mens of culture. Death should have been the end. But instead, I woke up in the dark, chaotic world of Saint's Odyssey, a fantasy novel I'd once read with disdain. This isn't just any story. It's a world where the so-called "hero," a two-faced hypocrite, uses his charm and manipulation to set off a chain of events that will destroy half the world. As fate would have it, I’ve been reborn into this world—not as some mighty warrior or divine savior, but as a nobody. No golden destiny. No god-given blessings. Just my wits, my will, and a grudge big enough to tear this narrative apart. The gods, the villains, the heroes—they think they hold the pen to fate. They think they control this story. Well, they’re wrong. This is my story now. And I won’t stop until I’ve rewritten every line. Watch as I shatter the hero’s image, unravel the gods' schemes, and conquer this world they thought was untouchable. Let them call me a villain—I’ll wear it like a crown. In a tale where every battle is a step toward conquest, and every betrayal is just another play in the game, one thing is clear: I didn’t choose this war, but I’m going to win it. Where the rules don’t matter, and the script is mine to flip.

Chapter 39. Hijack Of Hotel...[7]

##################################

Third-Person's POV...

In the opulent, sprawling dexule Conference suite, situated at the pinnacle of the majestic BlackMoon Hotel, a sea of elegantly attired individuals found themselves ensnared in a colossal, shimmering mana barrier, expertly crafted by a masterful magic artificat.

The air was heavy with the weight of desperation as the captives, clad in designer finery, thrashed about in a frenzy of distress, their faces etched with the deep lines of depression and panic. The very fabric of their existence seemed to be unraveling before their eyes, as they realized they had been taken hostage in a daring, high-stakes heist.

Outside the glittering, ethereal barrier, two imposing figures stood sentinel, their piercing gazes scanning the horizon with an unnerving intensity, as if daring anyone to attempt a rescue. Their imposing physiques, honed to perfection, exuding an aura of danger.

Meanwhile, a third figure, seemingly the mastermind behind this daring operation, stood apart from the others.

...

As he stood there, lost in thought, he muttered to himself in a low, gravelly tone, "Call, Sly Knightess..." The words hung in the air like a challenge, a gauntlet thrown down to the unknown.

The earset on his left ear, a sleek and futuristic device, glimmered with a soft, pulsing green light as it sprang to life, carrying out his instructions with precision and speed.

The connection was established in mere seconds, and a deep, Feminine voice spoke on the other end, its Sly tone a stark contrast to the man's growing unease.

"Knightess, we have a situation," the Man said, his words dripping with gravity. "The hostages have been captured, and we've already stated our conditions to the Hunter's Association. We need you to contact Nexus Organisation as soon as possible."

The man's grip on the earset tightened, his knuckles white with tension, as he waited for a response.

And then, a voice like silk and smoke whispered in his ear, a voice that was equal parts slyness and playfulness. "Hey, I can't do that," it said, the words dripping with amusement. The man's eyes narrowed, his anger simmering just below the surface. "What do you mean you can't do that?" he growled, his patience wearing thin.

The voice on the other end chuckled, a low, throaty sound that sent shivers down the man's spine. "Well, someone has had the...ahem...misfortune of killing your champions, and soon he'll come for you," it said, the words dripping with Playfulness.

The man's face darkened, his eyes blazing with fury. "Who?" he demanded, his voice low and deadly. "Who is behind this?"

The voice on the other end laughed again, the sound sending a shiver down the man's spine. "I'm just a broker, how would I know?" it said, the words dripping with slyness and playfulness.

The man's anger boiled over, his face red with rage. "You, tell me who!" he bellowed, his voice echoing off the walls.

But his question remained unanswered, the only sound the soft click of the phone being hung up.

The man's face contorted with fury, his eyes blazing with anger. He ripped the earset from his ear, his movements violent and jerky, and smashed it to the ground with a curse. "This sly bitch, she knows...but she doesn't want to tell me," he snarled, his words dripping with venom. The earset lay in pieces at his feet, a symbol of his frustration and anger.

...

In the southern part of the Sera continent, nestled within the Fers Domain in Svar City, stood a luxurious villa that exuded opulence from every angle.

This particular villa boasted grandeur with its sweeping architecture and meticulously manicured gardens, a testament to the wealth and taste of its inhabitants.

Inside one of the many lavishly adorned rooms, the walls were not mere walls but canvases for the future. They were covered from floor to ceiling with an array of futuristic screens, each displaying intricate data streams and surveillance feeds.

The room itself was a symphony of advanced technology, with consoles, holographic interfaces, and other devices humming softly in the background.

Amidst this symphony sat a mature and strikingly beautiful young woman. Her hair, a unique shade of greyish silver, cascaded down her shoulders with an air of elegance.

Her piercing black eyes were framed by long lashes, and she wore cute pajamas that contrasted sharply with the seriousness of her surroundings.

She had just ended a call, Playful Expression was evident on her face as she removed an earpiece and tossed it aside.

Turning her attention to one of the screens, her expression shifted from playful to intrigue. The screen showed a handsome figure, his form adorned with a blood-soaked spear, navigating through the corridors of the BlackMoon Hotel.

It was Riyan. A sly smile played on her lips, betraying a hint of playful amusement mixed with calculated curiosity.

"Ooooh~, Young Master Riyan," she murmured softly, her voice laced with amusement and a touch of slyness. "Let's see how you finish this."

Her eyes narrowed slightly as a thought suddenly struck her. A spark of realization flickered across her features, causing her to sit up straighter with renewed focus.

"She will also be there," she whispered to herself, the implications of this revelation setting her mind ablaze with possibilities.

In that moment, the room seemed to hum with anticipation, the screens casting an ethereal glow on her determined expression.

With calculated precision, she began to manipulate the devices around her, each tap and gesture a step towards unraveling the mysteries that lay ahead.
