Villain becomes the Main Character

In process of rewriting (including unreleased chapters). Why? Because I suck at writing novels. ---- Weekly chapters on every Wednesday! ---- "People say the closest things are the greatest." "Yes, I can certainly agree with that now." "The system is certainly really close." "And I will be with it, forever." "And become the strongest." "And achieve anything while the black travels with me..." Archehon looked up to the black sky. "With a normal, generic ending." --- The protagonist is called 'Lucifer' and was the fourth strongest in his previous life and was a villain. One day, he by mistake encounters an individual who was the Main Character and kills him. To his surprise, he dies and gets reincarnated into the body of the guys descendant two hundred years later. He gains a system (yes, I know it's overused but I have my twists) with the skill- [Main Character]. Watch his journey to becoming the strongest in the world and uncovering- oops, can't say that. Anyways, just read it. Things to know: I don't release a ton of chapters a day since I want to not make my stories total garbage. Word count: 1500+ per chapter.

Two days later...

Archehon and Atif walked to the homeroom class where multiple people had already gathered.

Some people immediately looked at them with a serious face but turned away after a few seconds.

The two guys sat next to each other on a seat.

"General weapons Class.. I'm pretty sure the guy who was our examiner said that he ran this class. I wonder what we'll do as I was more expecting to go to a practical field than a classroom.", Atif looked around, hiding his excitement slightly.

The class got settled after a few seconds. All the students had sat at their own seats and John, this year's first years examiner, walked into the classroom.

He had a calm but stern demeanor with every step he took. The digital screen hovered in the air as it showed, 'General Weapons Class'.

"Welcome to General Weapons Class where the core purpose is to train everybody's martial prowess in weapons to the maximum."

"I will be in charge of you all for the year and my name is Mr. Burrok."

"Today, we'll start the first day off with a debate since it's better for you students to all tell me who you are.", John had his chest out while he spoke like a military sergeant.

"The topic of the debate is.."

The digital blue hologram displayed, 'What melee weapon is the best in one-on-one combat?'.

".. this. I will give you a minute to think about it until we start the debate."

Everyone immediately started to chatter.

"Hmmm.. I think what most people would say is a sword or spear as they work the best in these kinds of situations. But, there are other weapons that can also work perfectly well in this scenario such as a Trident versus a Short sword&Shield.."

"Times up! Begin!", John shouted.

A boy near the back with blonde hair stands up and exclaimed, "I think that spears are the best weapon as it can block and deflect easily. It can also work well in close range and be used as a staff!".

Some people start to murmur with agreement but others don't think the same.

"The sword is the best as it has excellent versatility which also allows it to have an option of attacking or defending. The spears struggle to counter the sword if it reaches close to an opponent!", another brown-haired girl shouts after standing up.

"But that's only in close-range! The spear can be extremely deadly when thrown towards an opponent."

"But that doesn't matter if you predict and dodge it well!"

Two people continuously debate about the sword and spear. Other people join in and bring other weapons such as the staff and daggers in. The room is filled with constant debates until..

"Silence!", John's shout which could be mistaken for a roar, silences the room.

Then, Atif stands up.

"I think that this debate is pointless as there is no good weapon", he states.

Everyone flinches at his statement. Some people's pride hurt, and some were curious about what he meant.

'Oh? Quite a bold statement..', Archehon crosses his arms and smiles.

"What did you say? Are you calling the sword which my family has reigned in for generations, bad??", the girl looked at him with anger.

"No, I'm not calling it bad. I'm just saying that this debate is pointless as there are many different ways to wield a weapon. But, most of the ways people weld their weapons, are wrong when fighting against a polar opposite.", Atif responded calmly and composed.

"You're telling me I've been using my spear wrong?", the blonde haired boy looked at him.

"Hm.. not exactly. You can weld a weapon like that if you want but it's not good in the longer term. Why? It's simply because there's a vast world out there with people who may even weld weapons differently to you."

"For example,", Atif continued. "If in your case, you're using a sword against a spear, it's a bad match. The sword has barely any good reach while the spear has plenty of reach. It's all about technique. Now, let's say if you were able to use a sword and an Od ability that makes up for the weaknesses. The sword user can win."

"My simple answer is, the way you wield your weapon and what lineup you face matters. Just like how water beats fire."

"..."

The class went silent until John spoke.

"If that's it, then I'll end the debate here-"

"I disagree."

A white-haired girl stood up.

"W-wait a minute, is that Drifa Crystal? The genius ice mage?", one person whispers as others murmur.

She had blue eyes, white hair, white academy uniform. Her attitude was expressionless but had elegance to it.

"What's she doing here? I didn't know mages would join a weapons class..", another student whispered.

"I would've agreed with you if the question wasn't to do with 'One-on-one' combat.", she glanced at Atif but shifted her attention to the whole class.

"I'll make this quick. This type of combat is primarily based on the person's reach. The greater the reach someone has, the more advantageous they are against their opponent. What this guy said would've worked if we were talking about normal combat."

"The battle would be decided by using a weapon such as the Spear, Trident or staff. That's all.", she sat back down.

"Okay, class. That ends the debate and period. I hope that everyone has learnt something from this experience.", John marks the end of class.

Chatter blooms the class after the debate.

Many students were still debating about the topic while they left the class.

Atif got up and was leaving as the two students who started the debate off, passed by- having an offended look.

Archehon looked at the girl and boy who first started the debate.

"Quite the attitude."

"Yeah..", Atif had a slightly down posture as he lowered his eyebrows.

"You shouldn't worry. They're just prideful.", Archehon held his shoulder for a couple of seconds as he spoke, then walked ahead.

'<Atif: 25..'< p>

'26.. 28.. 30 hearts!>'

<The host only requires twenty five more relationship points to receive rewards>

'Nice..'

Half an hour later...

Archehon walked into the Home Class and sat down on a chair. Atif wasn't in the same Home Class as him, though, there were a couple of faces he had seen from the General weapons Class.

The class had white walls and marble flooring which was similar in looks to his previous class. Almost all of the classrooms had a minimalistic and white nature to it.

Inside, many students chatted as they spoke about useless things.

"I don't understand why we have our Home Class right after the break today? I got told that we are supposed to have it at the start of the day..", one person spoke.

"Haha, I know right.."

Another spoke.

"It's not.."

After everything had been settled in the class and the Home Class teacher walked in.

It was a man who looked as if he was in his sixties. He had a mustache that travelled down till his chin on both sides, next to his lips.

"Welcome class. I am Boron Oakton, your Home Class teacher. Usually, this class will be on at the start of every single day. But due to this being the first day, we have shifted it to after the break.", Mr. Oakton introduced himself.

"Anyways, today's class will be a bit special as we will be having two heroes come in to give you an introduction. Come in, please."

Two heroes walk into the classroom.

One of them was a woman. She had purple glasses with a gold outline and purple makeup, most of her body was covered by a purple costume with a black zip that trailed down the middle, she looked like she was in her thirties and had a slight smile. And lastly, she had a cape attached to her shoulders while her long brown hair smoothly travelled down till her shoulders.

[Mystic <#1276 Ranked Hero> Od Ability: Mist Field - B rank]

The other one was a young man. He had red hair and blue eyes, his figure was tall and strong, he wore a red uniform which looked like the ones the F1 racers would wear, his look was the opposite of Mystic as it was expressionless and, his pale white skin stood out well.

[Gedi <#1448 Ranked Hero> Od Ability: Blaze touch - A rank]

"Hello, students. I'm Mystic and work for the hero organisation.", Mystic smiled while introducing herself.

Contrasting to her, Gedi spoke in a robotic manner, "I'm Gedi and I also work for the hero organisation."

Archehon looked at them both, 'The hero organisation.. I wonder if anything has changed as people seem to be very focused on Od abilities in this era.'

'In my past life, the hero organisation were incredibly powerful. Despite the top five villain organisations being at least on par with them, or even stronger, none of us could take them down.'

'Now that I think about it, they were really annoying to deal with. They were like little rats who always got in my way.', Archehon felt irritated after remembering memories of them.

"Now, let me ask all of you aspiring heroes a question.."

Mystics smiled erased from her face and turned serious.

".. how do you think heroes work?"
