Many of the people in the audience exclaimed seeing the princess losing but no one complained or bad mouthed about the Lucifer instead everyone admired him even more because of his strength and talents.

"That was a heck of a match"

"Yes it sure was, princess Flora's instincts and control is simply unbelievable to be able to match with Lucifer"

"Yeah, I don't think i will also be able to react to Lucifer's speed if i was in the princess' place"

The vice dean sighed as he remarked about the battle between Lucifer and Flora.

Even if they have higher control over the elements they still are mortals, being able to manipulate elements and having gone through numerous battles they can't resist someone who has stronger strength than them.

"Lucifer's swordsmanship and elemental controls have all seem to reach advanced level, for someone of his age it truly is unremarkable feat, and his ability to as if predict opponents move and controlling multiple elements at the same time is something that even those of rank A magus can't reach"

"Hmm"

Everyone nodded in understanding when one of the teachers with glasses pointed those points out.

"But what I'm more curious about is how he learnt such an amazing technique to manipulate lightning for increasing one's speed"

"Hm? Now that you mentioned it is quite an unusual technique, it clearly doesn't look like a skill"

"Yes it is not a skill"

"This technique does bring a lot of memories back"

"Sir do you know something about this technique?"

"Hahaha kind of"

(Lucifer's POV)

'That was close' He thought noticing his mana which only remains half in just 20 minutes, it was abnormally fast but 'guess it was worth it.'

He was able to kill the three heroines at just the start of the examination is something he should rejoice about right?

Well whatever, he needs to agree that Flora Marguerite was really terrifying, she doesn't have any superspeed like Lucifer but then also she was able to keep up with him.

Being a princess whom her father dotes too much on she was able to get her hands on the skills like, foresight, intuition, thought acceleration and such skills for which other magus could go on rampage to get any one of those, she is truly dangerous opponent to take on.

"Let's save the mana for now and be on defense, i already have 89 points on me, I could get a spot in the top 10 easily"

Lucifer threw his ice swords and began walking the way out of the jungle to the beach from where he had come from.

'There are still 2 hours left for the examination to end, hmm the technique was amazing but i will need a lot of practice'

Lucifer thought to himself, the technique he used was of a great character in this world who is considered dead but is trapped somewhere far from here.

He was a transcendent who created this skill and later when the protagonist rescued him he taught the protagonist this technique which can be used by the light element too, though not as fast as lightning element the protagonist still gained superspeed all thanks to this.

*Boom*

As Lucifer walked towards the beach from the other end of the island a sound of a giant blast occurred causing him to turn around.

"It started already?"

Lucifer muttered to himself and once again went back on his track.

Lucifer is a person who doesn't really care about being first or the best in anything unless there is something which can arouse his greed and the rewards of being the first in this examination is one of the things Lucifer longs for but this first round of examination it's impossible for Lucifer to take the first position.

Like every other cliché plot how can any examination the protagonist gives goes with just a simple win.
