VIGGO - ING. VERSION

Viggo, son of Hephaestus (Goddess of forging in Orario) and Kain (Ancient Scion of Balance), was born as a demi-god. However, with a defeat and the inability to strive for a goal in life, he is sent to train with a furious master. Accompany Viggo on his path to becoming a god. "Don't be sorry, be better". This fanfic was born as a Spin-Off of the Original fanfic "Suerte y Perseverancia" also written by me and currently in broadcast. Clarifications: I have been accused of being sadistic with my readers, but I will deny such observations. What happens is that I don't give all things on a silver platter to my protagonists; everything is won. On the other hand, sometimes it just happens that situations do not go as you want. However, that is where the magic of a protagonist lies, in knowing how to move within the parameters and look for solutions with the tools he already has. Believe me, I will never screw my protagonists if it is not to make them better and more powerful. PS: THE IMAGE IS ONLY REFERENTIAL.

Good Instincts 1.11 - ING. VERSIÓN

Late that night, Kratos arrived home with Viggo on his shoulder. At that time, only Faye was awake. Kratos indicated that Viggo was just tired and needed to sleep. Then he went to leave Viggo in the shed, lay him on the logs and put his sword next to him. Once settled, he covered him with wolf skin and let him rest. However, when he turned around to return home, a shadow darker than the same night, appeared. The primordial old monster was staring at him, as if all this time had been there. Only a slightly lower shadow looked than Kratos, with the moonlight illuminating his white hair, rising in a bun and his red and black shoulder pads.

-I see they went out to play- old Xiao said in a funny tone of voice.

Kratos snorted to the side and said - you can say. Although the boy did something I asked him not to do, his judgment was spot on. Although he still lacks training and discipline-

-But?- asked Xiao with a dubious tone of voice, as if he could feel the disapproval in Kratos' voice.

-That sword is bad for the boy. It gives you an overwhelming advantage against whatever kind of challenge you encounter. He needs something normal, that is helpful, but doesn't win his battles for him. Also... he also lacks life experience. I don't know what kind of life he lead before, but he seems to have been living as an Athenian nobleman.

-I understand the point, I also did the same with the boy's father- Xiao replied, nodding -on the other hand, the boy's father made the sword to show him his love. However, in his care, he did something very crazy-

-I also think so, the child has the kind of weapon that only the king of the gods should possess-

Xiao stretched out his right hand, a multicolored light glow from his fingers, and Kratos felt his back lighter. The next instant, Kratos watched as his transparent axe passed through his body, wrapped in the same energy as the hands of the old primordial. He frowned and let out a growl.

-Quiet- Xiao said as the axe approached his hand. Thanks to the light he was wrapped in, Kratos could see the gentle smile of the primordial old man. Xiao continuous -I just want to see your axe-

-Don't do anything to it- Kratos said in a biting tone, his voice and murmuring -it's a precious gift-

-I know, I know- replied old Xiao as he received the axe in his right hand. He raised his left hand, and a piece of paper appeared in the air, next to a pen and a jar of ink. The pen was inserted into the jar and then flew to the surface of the paper. Then it began to move and between drawings and writing, all the most specific details of the powerful axe were written down.

Once it finished the movement of the pen on the leaf, the pen and jar disappeared. Xiao returned the axe to Kratos, who received it in his hands, and old Xiao took the paper. Since it was dark, he made a small orb of light appear and began to read.

-Yes- said Old Xiao -I think it is understood-

-What are you supposed to do?- asked Kratos as he hung the axe back in the ring of his shoulder pad.

-I'm going to give this to the boy's father. The father will do something like your axe and so the boy will have a more suitable weapon. He wields that monstrous sword as if nothing, but he could kill gods and eternal dragons with his power-

-As I assumed, the sword is special-

-More than you think. The boy's father is crazy, I don't know what he was thinking about-

Maybe...- Kratos said, lowering his voice and looking at the ground -maybe he's embarrassed that he can't be what the boy expects-

-I don't know, but I know he loves his son just as you love yours. The only difference he shows his feelings. In that case, you and the boy are very similar, since they do not know how to reciprocate love-

Kratos let out a sigh and walked past the primordial old man —get into your own business— he replied. Kratos walked to the corner of the hut and doubled. Then his footsteps were heard on the snow until he stopped, the door sounded when it opened and when it closed suddenly.

Old Xiao smiled to himself and walked to where Viggo was. He raise another sphere of light and look at his delicate features, next to that fire-red hair. Xiao smiled, left Viggo sleeping, and walked to the backyard. Then he advanced to the solid rock wall on the left and with a slight gesture of his right hand, he made a cave inside. Then he with another gesture of the hand plastered the interior in wood and covered the walls and the ceiling with animal skins. He made a bed with boards and put a feather mattress, in addition to adding a piece of furniture to store his clothes. Then Xiao went to find Viggo, carried him in his arms and took him to the cave. He lay him on the bed and covered him with the wolf skin. He nodded seeing him protected from the cold, this place would be a small gift for having persevered all this time. Then he came out of the cave and made another gesture. Which turned the entrance into the original rock façade; but it was only the façade, as the cave still existed. However, only Viggo and the people he allowed could pass.

After leaving the boy protected, Old Xiao vanished into the air and traveled to where the father was, eons away from this remote land. To a place, where the gods walked among the mortals, as if they were one more of the population.

The next day, Viggo woke up dizzy, very thirsting, a headache and very hungry. However, to his surprise, once he opened his eyes, he did not know the place. To him remember, he was fighting some draugrs and after that, everything became blurred. However, at no point does he remember enjoying this level of comfort. He was sleeping on a feather mattress. He stretched his hand to the wall and could feel the soft animal skins. After a few minutes, Viggo told himself who cares, covered himself again with wolf skin, and tried to keep sleeping. He was thirsting and hungry, but this place was warm and comfortable. A thousand times better than listening to his teacher shout:

-Boy-

Viggo nodded in his head and thought that the scream sounded similar. However, when he heard it a second time, he felt annoyed and covered his head with wolf skin. However, when he heard the scream a third time, he remembered that he was training. He got up quickly and walked in the dark, groping where he was, until he reached a wall that suddenly became intangible. Viggo passed by and fell face to face into the snow.

Then, Viggo listened loud and clear to his master.

-Boy, where are you? You're going to run out of breakfast-

-I'm coming- said Viggo, stood up and saw that he was in the backyard. He saw the large pine and eucalyptus trees that seemed to reach up to the sky. Viggo looked up and saw the sky covered with clouds in the shape of soap bubble. He stayed like this for a long time until he noticed that small snowflakes were falling. He felt cold, but also a pleasant feeling of being alive.

-What are you doing boy?- roared Kratos as he approached.

-Nothing... master, I was just looking at the sky-

-Let's eat-

-Yes- replied Viggo, looked at himself as he was dressed and used his hands to shake off the snow from his hair and clothes. Then he came up to Kratos and told him -you know, someone made me a house-

-I don't see it- Kratos replied.

-Let's eat and then I show it to you. It would be nice to know how to make candles-

Kratos shook his head and turned around, walking ahead as Viggo followed behind.
