5 Chapter 5 - Battle Junkie

"Yeah, some feral dogs were chasing me and I had to run for my life. That resulted in me accidentally tripping and the rest is history. Nothing a quick bath can't fix." I said with a wide grin and she clearly didn't believe me forcing me to use my secret technique. I patted her head trying to calm her down.

"Stop worrying, I wonder who's the older one here, you or me. That aside, I really need a bath since I'm drenched in sweat from all that running." I said as Mikan was forced to give up the topic and I soon headed to my room to place my bags then head to the bathroom to take a really cold bath again.

Ooooh! I'm starting to like this….cold water and sore muscles seem like a match made in heaven. I got quite the beating and left a few scars in them after it somehow got healed by my [ Spiral Powers ].

'That fight earlier…I don't know why but I kind of want more.' I'm itching to fight again even though I am in no condition to fight. Seriously, my knuckles and ribs are fractured. I'm lucky enough that I'm able to recover rather readily thanks to my [ Spiral Powers ].

And yet the thought of fighting and overcoming them seems worth the while as if I'm a breakthrough cocoon and unleashing my true potential that was Unknown. Does that mean I don't have a limit or it's just too high that I can't see it like the power in the shop? Probably.

[ Description: Someone who gets off(high) on the adrenaline rich that comes from engaging in combat (battle) between individuals or armed forces. Usually the stronger and or more capable the opponent, the better the high is for them. They relish being in the heat of combat. The user gains a sense of a person's prowess and would get excited against a strong opponent. ]

Woah they might be useful in the future but becoming a Battle Junkie does mean I would crave battle. Though, sooner or later I will experience it myself. I did experience that euphoric feeling earlier. Hmmm, let's add to my status.

I tapped the panel and immediately felt the change in my body as my mindset changed. Woah, why do I feel like training again tomorrow? Is this what it gives me? Well, that makes things a lot better since my mindset is the biggest and hardest thing to change. I wonder if I could do the quest again and have an infinite loop of quests.

At that moment, the water seemed to bubble, and the next moment a splash of water hit my face as I quickly wiped it out, and before my widened eyes was a naked highly attractive, and curvaceous teenage girl with long bubblegum pink hair, emerald green eyes, and large breasts.

Yeah, her body and overall figure are ideal for teenage girls. She was smaller than Miu but her charisma seemed quite high. Perhaps it's because of her mother who was Charmian, a race that although look human enough, are endowed with the most beautiful voices and appearances in the universe.

I am someone who doesn't let lust get hold of me but I'm still a man. Let's just not think too much and focus on the situation cause I need to calm my little brother. I'm not a pervert, it's just a natural reaction.

"Uhmm…who are you?" Smooth Haruto, real smooth. Can't help it! She looked at me unbothered at the fact that she was naked. Is she that innocent? Good Kami, if she suddenly teleported to some pervert then they would likely take advantage of her but then again her physiology is a lot stronger than that of a human. She later stopped a typhoon by simply screaming at it in the story from my memory. Yeah, pissing her off is hell on earth if I'm being honest.

"Hi, my name is Lala!" Her smile made me feel warm and fuzzy. Am I attracted to her or is it because of physiology? Regardless, I felt obligated to help her for some reason.

"Nice to meet you, Lala. You can call me Haruto. What are you doing in my bathtub? Not that I'm complaining, but the bathroom isn't the place I thought I would meet a girl."

"I was escaping from my pursuers, but unfortunately, they cornered me, so I was forced to use this..."

She showed the device that looked like a bracelet on her left wrist.

"My invention 'Pyon-Pyon Warp-Kun'. I can't specify the destination, but this makes it possible for a living unit to wrap a short distance!" If I didn't know anything then I would have tons of questions but let's put that aside.

"I see, I see. You are lucky then to land somewhere safe. Anyway, We shouldn't stay here too long, and you would probably want to dress up."

I got out of the bathtub and wrapped a towel around my waist while handing her a towel.

"Thanks."

We went to my room without anyone noticing us since how the hell do I even explain this to them? That aside, we arrived at my room where Lala was looking curiously looking around.

'I need to find Lala something to wear.'

Nice another thousand yen! Though, I'm not sure if I'll find anything that could fit her. The best place is my parents' room since my mother should have something.

"Wait here, I'll just get dressed and try to find some clothes for you to wear." I said as I took some clothes and went outside the room where I quickly got dressed then went to my mother's room since I believe she would have some spare clothes that could fit Lala.

I mean she's a fashion designer but I couldn't find anything and Mikan's clothes won't match her. Guess I'll wait until her companion, Peke arrives. I came back where she was looking at him.

"Sorry, can't find any clothes that fit you. Hmmm, guess this better than nothing, wear my shirt." I took a larger shirt that I had and handed it to her.

"Thank you, Haruto." She took it and Fuck it made things worse! I can see her nipple through the shirt! I tried not to draw attention to it.

"*Cough* Anyway, can you tell me about yourself and why you're here? The last I checked there wasn't any device on earth that can teleport a person." Obviously, I knew things because of the new memories but this will help build some trust between us.

"I came from planet Deviluke."

"So you're an alien huh?" I hope there isn't an alien like those movies or were screwed! Let's not overthink.

"For you earthlings, guess I am. Here, look at this." Lala stood up and showed her tail.

"Guess my life entered a new level of strangeness. That aside, did you mention teleporting? Why did you do that?"

I asked and her question along with her demeanor shifted as she told me that she was being chased like she would have done with Rito. Wait….would I end up engaged to her? Guess that's good if I can fight stronger opponents.

Wait!? Why the Fuck did I suddenly think that? Shit, I'm starting to be a Battle Junkie huh? Instead of fear, I feel a sense of adrenaline and excitement.

Still, besides that reason, I can't exactly let a girl who would be forced to marry those she doesn't like go. If that happens to Mikan then I don't know what I'll do.

Normal people would refuse to risk their lives to some random girl. But my principal doesn't let me. Sometimes I hate myself but I know I'll regret it if I don't help when I can. As she finished telling her story a voice came in.

"Are you okay, Lala-sama!?"

It was Peke and one of Lala's inventions, but unlike most of them, he seemed to be a really advanced AI or even have his own will.

"Peke! Oh, I'm so happy! You were able to escape too?"

"Yes! I was lucky since the ship wasn't outside the Earth's atmosphere!"

Peke then looked at me and pointed his finger in my direction.

"Who is this Earthling over there?"

"He's the one living here, and his name is Haruto." She then turned to me.

"And this here is Peke." Lala introduced it with a bright smile.

"Nice to meet you." Peke said.

"He's an 'All-Purpose Costume Robot' that I made."

Finishing her explanation, she threw away the towel that covered her body.

"Well, Peke, I leave it to you."

Peke: "Understood"

Peke then transformed into Lala's clothes. I could only describe them as out of this planet... or made by a modern fashion designer. Either of them would work, honestly.

"How is it? Doesn't it look nice, Haruto?"

"Yeah, looks great, but you probably shouldn't go out like this on Earth."

"Why?" Damn, she's too innocent.

"Because-" I couldn't finish explaining because of two men in black suits. They had the same tail Lala had, so they probably are from the same planet.
