Chapter 254 - An Ambush

Miles cranked the battery up to a full, and placed the cables on Vicky once again.

"Miles, stop!" Sarah said. She walked into the cage, as Vicky almost passed out.

Miles looked at Vicky, and then took the cables off her. Vicky's eyes were back to normal, and she was almost limp.

Sarah rushed out of the room.

"Vicky! Vicky!" Miles said. He kept the tables away, and held Vicky's face to check if she was okay.

"What… happened?" Vicky asked, in a soft, unheard voice.

"I may have tortured you!" Miles said, looking at the battery.

"W… why?" Vicky asked.

"I got Cora to leave, right? And you didn't finish what you were saying," Miles replied.

Vicky sighed, and closed her eyes.

"Don't close your eyes. I know it hurts, and you're tired, but wait till Sarah comes back, and you need to tell us what you wanted to say!" Miles said. He patted Vicky's cheek, to make her stay awake.
