"I'm not…" Vicky could not finish her sentence.

A red light came from Shane's hands. He looked at Vicky, and shot the red light at her.

Vicky winced in pain. She was pinned back on the sofa, by the unending stream of red light being fired at her.

The light began moving through Vicky's body, almost like it was going through her veins. Vicky could not fight back, but she did not want to give up.

Vicky tried to fight back, but she could not. She felt her body heating up. She tried to look for anything she could use as a shield, but she was at a loss.

"You should have taken Cora's deal when you had the chance, Vicky. But I'm more than glad to get rid of you. I've always wanted to… just like I did to your brother!" Shane said.

Vicky wanted to ask him more, but she was barely holding on. She was unable to do anything.
