2 Prologue 2

Over the past 6 months, Yu Yingyi has been selling things in the city without her identity being known. After knowing a bit more about the city, she realized jades were expensive and very popular. That's when an idea struck her head, what if she started selling well designed jades?

Naturally, she had to learn how to make the jade itself first. Although it was hard, Yu Yingyi was exceptionally smart and good at adapting, it took her a week to make the jades that were sold in the markets.

Yu Yangli, her mother, often wondered where she was able to get the materials. The answer she received surprised her, she said it was handmade materials that was stashed in the back of the house. She didn't even know that something like this could be made, moreover, she felt as if her daughter changed a bit. Yu Yangli used to be a fragile, quiet, and shy girl who didn't like to do much.

Now here she is selling handmade jades and people were actually buying them. Yu Yangli covered her mouth, was this what it means to mature? Although it took a long time, she didn't complain. Plus, she was making quite a bit of money and helped pay the taxes. She coudln't ask for a better daughter.

Although Yu Yingyi's business was going great, keeping her identity unknown was hard. She had to dress up as a man, stash the jades in cotton inside a box, and give it to the manager to put it up for marketing. Once they were sold, she once again had to dress up as a man and pick up the money shade made.

Even if it was quite tiring, this was all for a peaceful, calm life. Once she's saved enough, she'll stop making them, and disappear from the business. She knows that it's going to be hard since people would definitely start looking for her, but she already had that covered. There were dozens of extra jades that were made to satisfy her customers.

"Even if I'm transmigrated, I will definitely have a peaceful life."

This was what she was thinking while her mother thought she was doing this for her family. She would definitely be disappointed if she ever heard this from Yingyi's mouth.

Many people has been trying to find out the identity of the person who created the jades. Even the manager didn't know his identity, he could only say it was an handsome man who always came by and sold his jades. Of course a small uproar about it since the jades was well designed and seemed as if it was made by expensive materials.

Luckily for Yu Yingyi, this wasn't enough to catch the attention of the imperial family cause...well they were the imperial family. They already have all of the most well designed, expensive, and most luxurious jades since it was naturally brought to them. However, this didn't escape from one of the princesses.

"Guards!"

"Yes!"

"Find out the person behind the jades that's been recently sold at the city."

"The city? Princess, we already have the finest jades, why would you need-"

"Shut up! Do you need to question my actions?!"

"N-no princess! We'll start investigating right now!"

Everyone, including the guards feared the princess, Song Liya. She was known for being vicious and getting what she wanted. There were rumors that the princess even knows martial arts and was on par with the imperial guards that defended the emperor. What they didn't know was that it was true, she learned it at a young age which also developed her vicious personality.

She was the best candidate for the next empress, but there was no candidates for anyone to court her due to her personality. Plus, she personally denied any courts for her saying, "They would only hinder her."

However, the person who made the jade peaked her interest a bit. Creating well designed jades along with a hidden personality, Song Liya always liked a challenge, she'd definitely find out the person's identity.

She knew the guards wouldn't be able to find her identity, so she looked into it by herself. She knew the person who was selling it was probably poor since they wanted to hide their identity. If their identity was discovered along with people finding out they were poor, they wouldn't have to be able to escape from the imperial family and would be forced to turn their business over.

"Not bad, but I'll find you." said Song Liya with a wide grin.

Yu Yingyi felt a shiver down her spine as she finished her last piece of jade.

Over the past few days, she noticed there has been guards hidden in the shadows near the shop she sold her jades at. This meant the imperial family was onto her, but it was fine. She could still outsmart the guards, but she had to be cautious for the female lead.

In the novel, it was said that her knowledge was extraordinary, outsmarting the smartest people of the imperial family by the age of 15. In this world, the female lead was definitely smarter than her by FAR.

"How troublesome." Yu Yingyi muttered.

There was only five months left until the plot was starting, so why was things already stirring up? She slumped back in her chair and sighed, now she really regretted not reading the entire novel. She might've been able to figure some things out if she read through all the chapters.

That was when she felt liquid on her hands, she noticed she poked her finger with a needle. There was no medical kits in her house so she had to go to a store and buy them.

Leaving the house, she made her way towards the market when she suddenly bumped into someone.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking at where I was going." said Yu Yingyi.

When she looked up, her heart immediately dropped.

The person she bumped into was the vicious female lead, Song Liya!

Surely she was going to get scolded, she prepared herself was a scolding.

Then suddenly unexpected happened...
