"Jia Yi, is there nothing else you need to tell us?" asked Yu Yingyi.

"There isn't anything left, if there was, I would've told you already considering the empress doesn't see me as anything anymore. She probably doesn't know that I disappeared." Jia Yi replied.

"Hmm, I don't believe it. There must be something else that you're not telling. Say, do you know anything about the deal between your family and my family?" asked Song Liya.

This time, Jia Yi looked genuinely confused. "What deal with my family? As far as I've heard, my mother and the empress haven't spoken to each other at all. In fact, I heard they used to be old rivals."

"They used to be old rivals? Explain." Song Liya demanded.

"Relax, I was going to tell you anyway, though how could I have forgotten about this." Jia Yi shook her head in disbelief before continuing. "Before you were born, before any of us were born, there had always been a history between the empress and my mother. Also, this is only a story I've heard so it might not be accurate."

"In their younger days, the empress and my mother met three times. Each time, they would compete over something. It didn't matter if it was beauty, eating, debating who's smarter, as long as it was a topic they were able to argue about, they would."

"Every time they battled, my mother won every time while the empress never came close. I think there was a videotape of the two playing Xiangqi, my mother would trap the empress at every turn and would beat her every time."

"The empress never came close to beating my mother. That was the final time they met and they've reunited after a decade or longer." Jia Yi explained.

Both Yu Yingyi and Song Liya were surprised at the story, Yu Yingyi didn't even know there was such a history between Song Liya's mother and Jia Yi's mother. At this point, there was no way she could rely on the novel's information anymore.

"Since they've reunited after so long, there has to be something else they're talking about right? It can't be just about the marriage," said Yu Yingyi.

"Let's see, since Jia Yi said there was no deal said between the two, that didn't mean they didn't make a deal in the past. After all, they reunited out of nowhere, I can't seem to think it's just a coincidence," said Song Liya.

"Wait-wait-"Before Jia Yi could continue, Yu Yingyi interrupted her. "I also think the same, something important must've happened in the past to bring them back together."

"Like what?" asked Jia Yi.

"That's what we're going to find out, I already have my twin sister researching everything between the Jia family and the Song family," said Song Liya.

"Wait, you have a twin sister?" asked Jia Yi.

"Hmm, you didn't know?"

"I've heard rumors about you having a sister, but I never expected it to be true. Wait a minute, that means back in the hallway, you weren't actually there...that was your..." Jia Yi's voice trailed off as her eyes widened and her head turned towards Yu Yingyi.

Yu Yingyi nodded. "Yep, that wasn't Song Liya, that was her twin sister, Song Feng Mian."

Jia Yi suddenly looked dazed. "So her name is Song Feng Mian...such a pretty name...her punches are hard...she can punish me."

Yu Yingyi looked at Jia Yi who was muttering something quietly. "Jia Yi, are you okay?"

There was suddenly an outburst coming from Jia Yi.

"KYAAAAA! I'VE MADE UP MY MIND! I WANT YOUR TWIN SISTER!" Jia Yi suddenly exclaimed.

""Ha?!"" Yu Yingyi and Song Liya screamed in disbelief.

"That's right, your sister and I would be a perfect match. I can tell just why the way she punched me, the amazing pain inflicted upon me, she knew what she was doing, she meant to hurt me!" Jia Yi exclaimed.

"I don't think it works like that, she punched you to make you unconscious," said Yu Yingyi.

"She planned to do that?!" Jia Yi squealed.

"Yep so-"

"Even better!"

"Wait what?"

"If she knocked me out, that means she would've brought me to her room and tied me up explicitly unlike what you guys are doing. I can tell Song Feng Mian has a unique style unlike you."

"Stop it! Aren't you twisting my words into anything you could think of?"

"I am? I don't think so. *Sigh* I wished Song Feng Mian was the one who tied me up instead of you both, we might've had a very fun time together."

Somehow, everything was going off track. They were supposed to be talking about something important, now about sadist and masochist roleplay.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang. Yu Yingyi glanced over to see Song Liya's hand in the air about to slam the table again, her eyes held impatience.

"Jia Yi, speak indecency of my sister again, I'll cut your tongue off and feed it to you." Song Liya threatened.

Just like that, Jia Yi went quiet and the atmosphere started to change. Somehow, Yu Yingyi felt like Jia Yi was shrinking, but that might be just her imagination.

But it wasn't.

Although Song Liya is more overprotective of Yu Yingyi than her twin sister, the level of protectiveness was almost the same. Song Liya looked at Jia Yi with the eyes of a killer, as if she wanted to murder her and tear her limb by limb.

The heavy atmosphere and dark aura Song Liya was projecting only made things worse, Jia Yi felt like she could die any second without knowing it.

Jia Yi shrank back into her chair as if she was begging for mercy. She should've known better than to speak about indecent topics while mentioning the princess's sister.

Yu Yingyi looked back at the two, everything seemed fine in her view so she decided to walk around for a second to get some water. However, on the way, Yu Yingyi found a letter in front of her door.

Picking it up, the signature signed Song Feng Mian.
