Chapter 28

The next morning, Yu Yingyi was woken up due to the heat she was feeling. She could feel Song Liya's soft bosom against her back and arms around her waist, adding to that was a blanket. It was comfortable, but the heat coming from this sensation was abnormal.

Yu Yingyi wiggled out of Song Liya's grip and panted a little due to the heat, slowly wiping a streak of sweat coming down from her head, and combing her hair back with her hands.

"That was hot," said Song Liya.

"I don't get what was so hot about what I did and if you were awake, you should've said so. The heat was killing me."

"So in other words, you're hot." Song Liya said with a wink.

"Can you last one day without flirting?"

"I can, but I won't cause I know you like it."

"You're not wrong..." Yu Yingyi mumbled.

"I heard that."

Yu Yingyi mentally cursed Song Liya for having good hearing from all the training she did in her past. Some things were just better off not being heard.

"Yingyi, do you have anything to do today?"

"Actually, I do, thanks for reminding me."

Song Liya groaned in disappointment. "I wished I didn't say that, I wanted to hang out with you today."

"It won't even take that long, I just need to buy materials to make jade and I'll be back. You can wait at home unless you want to come with me."

Song Liya didn't want to go, but then a sudden thought came into her mind. Considering how handsome and beautiful her girlfriend was, a lot of girls would fawn over her, maybe men too. If they were trying to seduce or flirt with Yu Yingyi, who would defend her?

Song Liya got up from the bed and landed perfectly on the floor.

"I'll go!"

Yu Yingyi sighed, she didn't know where did Liya get all the energy from in the morning. She didn't have the energy to deny Liya so she let it go.

Mornings are the worst, it was simply a fact.

"Then let's get ready, we're going into the medium parts of the city," said Yu Yingyi.

"Eh? Why don't we go to the upper parts? The materials they have are more valuable." said Song Liya.

"That's what you think but I personally think the place I'm going to is better. After all, I've sold jades and bought jades from that shop before I stopped."

"I see, it's that place. I've never been there before since I stayed in the upper parts of the area since most royalty goes there to buy things."

"That's natural, but in my opinion, the things the upper parts of the city sell are only for the looks and it's expensive too. I don't have that much money so I stray away from that as much as possible."

"I see, what was the shop called again?"

"The Jade Gallery."

"A rich name for a cheap store."

"That's how shops get attention, it's smart."

After their conversation, they both dressed up quickly before making their way out the door. They took the long way because Song Liya wanted to stay away from Jia Yi as far as possible saying she might seduce her.

Yu Yingyi didn't even think Jia Yi was awake right now considering how early they were, the sun only just came up.

They held each other's hands as they made their way towards The Jade Gallery. As they were walking, the citizens were outside started to glance at them not believing their eyes. The prince and the princess were outside...TOGETHER IN THIS AREA! Just the other day, the prince was also in this area, it was something they never thought would happen again. It was a blessing to them.

"There's a lot of people staring," said Yu Yingyi.

"Of course, you'll have to get used to it since this will happen many times in the future, with even bigger crowds, this is just the tiny bit of it." Song Liya replied.

"I'm not ready for that, I feel a bit embarrassed even holding hands in public."

"You're so cute."

"Are you trying to make me feel better or make me feel even worse?"

Entering the jade store, necklaces and bracelets designed with jades came into view. Song Liya was quite impressed, with her keen eyes, she could tell the person who made them.

"They're impressive, the edges are evened perfectly and the jade's shape is perfect. The person who created this must've put a lot of work into this," said Song Liya.

"I'm thankful you recognize my creations," said Yu Yingyi.

"Huh?"

"Yep, there's an entire section full of my creations. Honestly, I'm glad they're still here even after not selling any for a while. I must've created enough to last for a long time."

Instantly, Song Liya felt regret for preventing Yu Yingyi to sell jades. If she let her keep selling them, Yu Yingyi probably could've been famous for her creations by now.

"Get those thoughts out of your hid, it's fine, I already got over it. Plus, I was going to quit making once I had enough money to survive anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal."

"How'd you know what I was thinking?"

"It's written all over your face, plus, I'm your girlfriend, aren't I? Naturally, I'm able to tell what you're thinking."

"As I thought, I chose the right girl to be my partner, it seems I really am I genius."

"Enough of all this wholesome stuff, I'm forgetting what I came for."

With that said, they both explored the isles with Song Liya admiring Yu Yingyi's work and Yu Yingyi looking at minerals to create jades.

"Say, are you ever going to make jades as your career?"

"Probably not, in the future, I'd like to become an architect. But there's no need to worry about the future, I'll worry about it when the time comes. Plus, I have you with me, what's there to worry about?"

"Ah, my wife is so cute."

"Wife?"

There was a bright, pink, and sparkling atmosphere in one section of the store. The owner had to squint his eyes to see clearly.
