Their dance started off slowly, Song Liya was guiding Yu Yingyi by holding her hands and telling her where her feet were placed. Even without music and preparation, there was still a pleasant atmosphere in the air.

"I'm going to go a little bit faster, will you be fine with that?" asked Song Liya.

"I think so, I have the basics down." Yu Yingyi replied.

"Good, you should watch your footwork on this one since it's quite hard, but you should get used to it easily since you're my consort," said Song Liya.

"That's a lot of confidence you have in me for someone who hasn't danced once in their entire life." Yu Yingyi replied.

"I guess it's because it's somehow I love dearly, if it was anyone else, well, there won't be anyone else cause there's you're the only person I'll ever be with." Song Liya said sweetly.

Yu Yingyi's heart raced at the words, she knew she wasn't to react this way, but she kind of liked that the words were meant for her...ONLY her.

Yu Yingyi's denial of liking girls only made things worse, it was as if she was having a mental battle with herself. She was just confused about herself, it wasn't as if she liked boys before, it was just that she never liked anyone in general and never bothered to care.

That was why she didn't know what to think of it.

"What're you thinking of Yingyi? You have quite a serious expression on your face," said Song Liya.

Yu Yingyi quickly made up an excuse. "Hm? I do? I must've dazed out thinking how to get better at dancing to be on par with you."

"Haha! I can't tell if you're joking or not, you and I both know you'll never be on par with me in dancing, sorry if it sounded offensive but it's just facts," said Song Liya.

"Yeah, I know. At least let me dream a little bit." Yu Yingyi said pouting.

Song Liya shook her head. "Let's focus back on dancing, there's no point thinking about impossible things."

With that said, they both continued to dance elegantly...well, Song Liya continued to dance elegantly while Yu Yingyi tried her best to keep up.

The pleasant and calm atmosphere made everything better, the silence felt like it was more comfortable than having music.

They both stared into each other's eyes as they held hands and danced throughout the area, Both of them were savoring every moment. It felt like time stopped and they were dancing for eternity.

As they were dancing, their eyes ever lost contact once, they were staring at each other all the way. It was as if Yu Yingyi knew what Song Liya was going to do and she followed.

Yu Yingyi felt like the atmosphere was changing to a romantic scene that would only happen in a novel.

Suddenly, Yu Yingyi's eyes lowered and broke eye contact with Song Liya for the first time in a while, her eyes landed on Liya's soft pink lips, and felt the urge to kiss it.

「 Don't kiss her. 」

A voice that sounded like herself spoke in her mind, Yu Yingyi answered back with "why?"

「 Because you're straight, you're not into girls. 」

'Then why am I feeling the urge to kiss her?'

The voice went quiet for a moment before replying.

「 It's only infatuation, lust, desire, there is no love you're feeling for her. 」

'Infatuation, lust, and disire?'

「 Yes, that's what you're feeling right now. 」

Yu Yingyi didn't know what to do if she listened to the voice, she knew that there would be no turning back. But if she didn't listen and followed her own heart, perhaps new things would open up?

that was exactly what life was, exploring new things and discovering them, just like how a change in a novel can lead to new plots.

That was Yu Yingyi's answer.

Yu Yingyi leaned in as her own lips met with Song Liya's soft lips, it tasted sleep yet bitter from the chocolate she ate earlier.

It was addicting and Yu Yingyi wanted more.

As Yu Yingyi kissed deeper, the shocked Song Liya started to recover and kissed back, It was passionate in the beginning but then it quickly turned into a fierce battle.

Both of them stuck their tongues in each other's mouths and felt an electric shock shot through their body as they fought for dominance.

There wasn't even a need to question who won, Song Liya won the battle and pinned Yu Yingyi up against the wall. Her hands holding up Yu Yingyi by lifting her up by thighs and Yu Yingyi tightened her legs around Song Liya's legs to hold herself up.

The tension was getting more and more sexual.

When they parted, both of them parted to catch their breaths. Song Liya looked normal, there was no blush on her cheeks and Yu Yingyi was the complete opposite, Yu Yingyi was the perfect representation of a tomato right now.

"When'd you get this bold?" asked Song Liya.

"Being with you influenced me probably, I guess it's an effect you have on me." Yu Yingyi replied with an embarrassed face.

"Oh? Let's see how many more effects I have on you." Song Liya said huskily.

They were still in the position when they kissed again, but this time it was Song Liya who initiated it, the sweetness of Yu Yingyi's lips entered her mouth once again.

There was an electric shock once again, but they ignored it as they focused on making out. There was nothing heating up since Song Liya felt like taking it slow. Normally, she would go straight in but she knew Yu Yingyi wasn't ready for that.

As for Yu Yingyi, her mind was filled with thoughts. They were filled with what was happening, the taste of Song Liya, and most importantly, the happiness she was feeling.

For the first time in her life, she finally realized what love was like, it was like an overflowing feeling of happiness and joy whenever Song Liya entered her mind. Every time their lips touched, Yu Yingyi heart would beat rapidly faster than it ever was. Even with a simple touch from Song Liya, Yu Yingyi should shiver at the sensation.

Love really was insane, yet abnormal.

"So, my dear Yu Yingyi, what do you have to say for yourself?"
