'What was this woman thinking?'

Yu Yingyi screamed in her mind.

The woman was still a few inches away from her face until Yu Yingyi stepped back in an attempt to move further away, but the woman only got a bit closer.

"I appreciate it, but, I have a wife..." said Yu Yingyi.

"I know that, but something like that won't stop me. After all, when I love someone, I won't ever give them up to anyone, not even the princess." said the woman.

Shameless...a declaration of love in an herbal shop.

"You..."

Yu Yingyi really had no words to say, not even Song Liya's declaration of love was like this, nothing was entering Yu Yingyi's thought process right now.

"You? Are you saying you'll accept me?" asked the woman.

"Eh?! Of course not! I don't even know your name or who you are!" Yu Yingyi exclaimed.

"Well then let me tell you right now, I'm Jia Yi and I-"

Before the woman named Jia Yi could continue any further, Yu Yingyi quickly interrupted her.

"Stop, let's not do this here. Actually, let's not do this anywhere, I still have things to do and I have a wife so I'm basically off-limits," said Yu Yingyi.

Before Jia Yi could pursue any further, Yu Yingyi quickly grabbed the jar of sugar cubes and started heading towards the counter to pay for stuff.

As Yu Yingyi was leaving, she started to think about Jia Yi, she was surprised by her sudden confession, but more at her sudden appearance.

By the way, she dressed, Jia Yi didn't seem like someone poor and lived in an environment like this. Moreover, why was she even in an area like this? She seemed like the person who had plenty of money but never showed it.

Plus, Yu Yingyi knew nothing regarding Jia Yi since she was never mentioned in the novel, she wasn't sure if she was in the novel at all. She couldn't help but think Jia Yi was actually someone significant and did something offending.

Well, Yu Yingyi couldn't help it, it was for her safety since if Song Liya found out she had a pursuer, she'd turn possessive and yandere mode.

Yu Yingyi shivered at the thought of Song Liya becoming a yandere. There would be a whole massacre if that ever happened, she needed to prevent that.

Somehow, Yu Yingyi felt like she needed to know more about Jia Yi, there was something mysterious about her and it was quite...alluring.

Yu Yingyi felt like she was getting strange thoughts and quickly shook her head to make the thoughts disappeared. The cocoa beans and the sugar cubes were in her bag, she still had a lot of time before she needed to head back.

However, Jia Yi's appearance stayed in the back of her mind.

After getting the things she needed, Yu Yingyi made her way towards the upper part of the area, it wasn't rich nor poor, it was just in between.

There was something she was looking for, it was a bakery she could use.

There was still a possibility the news of her appearance in the area has reached through the upperparts and she could get a little bit of special treatment even though she said she wanted everyone to treat her normally...well it was a different area so it was fine.

Walking around, people were muttering every time Yu Yingyi walked past them, it seems like the news of appearance has reached the upper parts.

Yu Yingyi walked over to a merchant nearby and asked, "Hello, do you know if there are any bakeries nearby?"

"Huh? Bakeries? I think there's one down the street to the right, it's called Honolulu Bakery. It's quite famous in this area, a lot of people go there."

"I see, thank you for the help."

"Wait! Before you go, are you Prince Yingyi?"

"Hmm," Yingyi put a finger to her mouth and said, "Who knows? Take guess."

The merchant swore he saw flowers blooming behind when the prince started walking around, he turned a bit red, and Yu Yingyi saw that.

'I'm not sure how to feel about being able to attract both genders...'

Following the directions the merchant gave, there was indeed a bakery called Honolulu Bakery.

When she entered, there was a loud yell through the air.

""PRINCE YINGYI!""

Two girls Yu Yingyi had no idea of rushed towards her side and guided her towards an empty table.

It was quite surprising so she didn't really know what to do, however, she wasn't there for the food, she was there to cook.

"Is there anything you'd like to order?" asked one of the girls.

"Actually, I'm not here to order anything..."

"Huh? Then what are you doing here Prince Yingyi?" the girl tilted her head in confusion.

"I'm here to cook something, you see, I have something I'd like to make and I'm making it as a gift."

"A gift? For who? OH! Is it for your wife? How cute! No problem, we'll lend you the kitchen!"

"Ah...thank you." Yu Yingyi replied.

Somehow, the girl's brightness and energy were making her tired, there was no way she could keep up with it. Moreover, wasn't the interaction too easy? She felt like she was getting free service...nonetheless, she followed the girls into the kitchen.

"Are you sure though? Wouldn't I be a hindrance since you're also making food for the customers?"

"What're you saying Prince Yingyi? It's an honor to have you here, especially in the kitchen."

"is that...so? Then excuse me."

Yu Yingyi made her way to where her station was placed, all of the utensils she needed were already there for her. She glanced at the girls hoping to see a flaw in them, it was like they knew she was coming here.

Nevertheless, Yingyi focused on the ingredients she had in her hands. Since she's done this before, everything was natural for her. Accurate and swift movements were displayed, the 2 girls were entranced and the sight and were staring at her making the chocolate.

Time passed by quickly, by the time Yu Yingyi was done with the chocolate, it was already past the afternoon.

'It seems I took longer than I thought, I'm getting a bit rusty at this.'

Yingyi wrapped the chocolate around with paper and placed it carefully in the bag. Since it was just finished, it was still fragile.

"Prince! What is it that you're making? I've never seen that before." said one of the girls.

"It's something new I decided to try out, it still hasn't been made anywhere yet so create so keep it a secret."

"Hmm? Something new? Can we try it?"

"Not yet, maybe when it's released you two will be the first people that'll try it, but for now, it's just a gift for my-"

Before Yu Yingyi could finish what she was going to say, there were loud rumbling sounds and shouting.

"PRINCE YINGYI! THE PRINCESS HAS ORDERED A SEARCH FOR YOU! IF YOU ARE HERE, PLEASE COME OUT IMMEDIATELY!"

Cold sweat dropped down Yu Yingyi's neck.

'Was she really gone for that long?'
