Dealing with CP 9

"You are really awesome." Liam was speechless as he stared at Luffy for a moment and complimented him.

He truly had no words to describe Luffy's ridiculous talent. Why didn't Garp or Dragon find it before?

Was it because they were to focused on their job?

In the original timeline, Luffy was taught by Rayleigh and he mastered all kinds of basic forms of Haki in two years.

Right now, he was basically ten times stronger than his nineteen-year-old version. But then, he did go to learn Advance Observation Haki, Advance Armament Haki, and Advance Conqueror Haki.

Even including the time that they spent from the start of Fishman Island to leaving Wano, it was just two months.

He achieved all advanced forms of Haki in just two months.

He couldn't understand whether it was Rayleigh whose teaching method was bad or if was it just the stimulation that Luffy got really low.

He understood that he had been constantly trying to stimulate Luffy into training his Haki throughout the journey but even so, it was so hard to improve at such a rapid pace.

Liam shook his head and glanced at Luffy who was proudly giggling and decided to ignore him.

Anyway, he didn't have that kind of talent. At best, his talent was closer to that of Zoro and Sanji.

The only advantage that he had over them was his devil fruit.

"So, what kind of cooperation do you want?" Iceberg calmed down and asked.

"We can talk about it in a closed room. For now, let's decide on what we should do with them. I don't care about Kaku and Khalifa but I suggest killing Lucci right now."

"When he was thirteen, he was given a mission to deal with the situation where a pirate crew had kidnapped five hundred soldiers and used them as a hostage to get the king's position."

"Just because the king was helpless in that situation, he went to kill all those five hundred soldiers just to neutralize the situation and then went on to kill those pirates."

"With his strength, killing those pirates and then rescuing those soldiers wouldn't be a big deal but he chose to kill those soldiers as well. He is a merciless assassin trained by the world government."

"To prove his Dark Justice, he wouldn't hesitate to kill any innocent person to complete a mission. In his eyes, anyone who goes against the World Government deserves to die."

Hearing his words, Iceberg's expression turned pale. Although he had expected these people to be cruel, he didn't expect this person to be this cruel.

On the other hand, Luffy also showed an angry expression. He wouldn't care about other's justice or order. What made him angry was that he would do anything to accomplish his mission.

Although angry, Luffy didn't comment anything. He felt that if he was in a similar situation, he would've done the same although not to this extent but he definitely wouldn't care about innocent people.

"You can do whatever you want to do with him. As for Kaku and Khalifa, I will leave them to you as well." Iceberg sighed and nodded his head.

"Let's tie them for now. Although they are also trained assassins, they have different ideas and their personalities are not that bad." Liam thought for a moment and nodded his head.

"Before that, let's go to your office. After dealing with him and tying these two, we will visit another member of the World Government who is still on the island."

As soon as he heard that, Iceberg shouted.

"What? There is another one?"

He didn't expect that there would be so many agents from the World Government around him. After all, he was just a normal mayor. It was true that he had the blueprint of Pluton but it wasn't confirmed.

So, it was hard to imagine that they would send so many people to spy on him.

"Actually, they are under Spandam. You should know that name, right?" Liam asked.

Hearing that name, Iceberg clenched his fist.

How could he ever forget that name? It was the name of a person that he hated the most. Because of this person, his beloved master died and he couldn't stay with his brother.

It was all because of this person that his master had left a bad reputation. Despite his anger, he knew that he would never be able to take revenge on him.

"So, his purpose must be Pluton, right?" Iceberg calmed his heart and asked.

"From the beginning, his purpose was the blueprint of Pluton. As for the death of your master, it was just a way that he used to get that blueprint. Unfortunately, he failed."

"Even though he failed, he continued that mission by sending those CP9 Agents to spy on you. Once they find it, they will instantly assassinate you and leave."

Liam nodded his head and answered.

Hearing his words, Iceberg's calm heart began to growl in anger once again. But, there was literally nothing he could do about it.

"Anyway, let's go to my office first!"

Saying so, Iceberg took Liam and Luffy to his office while Luffy and Liam lifted those three.

Of course, Liam held Khalifa in his arms while Luffy was forced to lift Lucci and Kaku.

While on the way, Khalifa slowly opened her eyes. Unlike Kaku and Lucci, she wasn't injured so she woke up quite early.

As soon as she woke up, she immediately tried to jump out of his embrace. Unfortunately, she failed as he was holding her waist quite tightly.

Clack!

Liam chopped the back of her neck and made her fall unconscious.

Iceberg noticed this movement but didn't say anything. Now that she was the World Government agent, he didn't care what happened to her.

With that, they eventually reached the office. After placing three of them on the sides and making sure that they were unconscious, Liam decided to go to Blueno Bar with Iceberg and let Luffy keep an eye on them.

But just when he was thinking about it, his Observation Haki sensed a presence. But, since he hadn't activated his Observation Haki, he didn't react immediately.

Before he could turn on his Observation Haki, a red glow appeared in Luffy's eyes as he saw a future.

He didn't move immediately and waited until a door in the air opened just above those three.

Just when the head came out of the door, Luffy's fist struck that cheek with all of his strength, not only pulling him out of the door but also slamming him on the ground unconscious.

"What? What happened?"

Liam had turned on his Observation Haki the moment Luffy launched an attack so he knew what exactly happened but Iceberg was a normal man.

When he heard a sound in the room, he panicked and shouted.

Only when he saw Blueno lying on the ground with blood coming out of his nose and broken teeth, he calmed his heart.

"Where did he come from?" Iceberg turned to Liam and asked.

Although he hadn't met Straw Hats before, from the conversation, he understood that the intellectual one was Liam and Luffy was more of a funny captain who liked to pick his nose all the time.

"This guy has eaten Door Door Fruit allowing him to open the door in anything. This is one of the best strategic fruits with powerful assassination capabilities."

"In short, he can stay inside a space created by this fruit and can access this space anywhere from the Air Doors. That's why he was able to sneak up on us. But, he didn't expect that Luffy and I would know the Advance Observation Haki."

"Well, since he has delivered himself to us, we don't have to go to his bar anymore. Let's deal with them right now."

Liam answered his question and walked toward them.

"So, what are you planning to do?"

Liam paused and turned around.

"Iceberg, the next scene might be bad for you so can you go outside and wait for a few minutes?"

Iceberg didn't want to leave his office but he was also horrified about what Liam was going to do. So, he still followed his words and left.

"Liam, are you going to take his Devil Fruit?" Luffy asked. Although he was an idiot most of the time, he could still do what Liam was trying to do.

"Ehh! As I said before, this is one of the best strategic fruit. Although it is not very useful against those who can use Observation Haki, it will still be useful against weaker people."

"Since I have a chance, I don't want the World Government to have this fruit." Liam nodded his head and answered.

"Do you need help?" Luffy fully supported his vice-captain. He didn't even hesitate to lend a helping hand.

Liam nodded his head.

"After the battle with Aokiji, I have a very low amount of stored Luck. So, I need your help."
