As Akuhito walked across the street to get home, he continued his journey. Along the way, a few people approached from the same direction he was heading. Suddenly, a person stepped in front of Akuhito and boldly declared, "You are a monster."
In an upset voice, Akuhito retorted, "What do you want, human?" The person, appearing slightly afraid, spoke softly, "Human?" However, Akuhito paid no further attention and continued walking past the person. The individual's expression showed a fleeting gaze of confusion before letting the encounter slide. Akuhito, unaffected by the person's reaction, remained indifferent and continued on his way.
Akuhito leaves the individual behind and continues walking, he says, "You humans should be proud because I have taken down the bad guy here, who was going to destroy your little world." Despite his words, Akuhito remains focused and unaffected, continuing on his way without giving further attention to the individual's reaction.
As Akuhito reached his home, he was surprised to find a clone of himself waiting there. With a determined expression, Akuhito raised his hand and began to absorb his own clone, stating, "I don't think I need another me. I'll handle things on my own." After absorbing the clone, Akuhito proceeded to make his way to his room and laid down, seemingly ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Akuhito woke up from his deep slumber, he heard the persistent sound of his alarm. However, he chose to ignore it and continued sleeping, oblivious to the passing time. When he finally stirred awake, it was already in the afternoon. Realizing his lateness, Akuhito quickly proceeded to the bathroom, taking a shower and brushing his teeth. He then proceeded to prepare breakfast and dressed in his school clothes, despite not planning to attend school that day.
With his preparations complete, Akuhito opened the front door, only to be greeted by a startling sight. Countless people had gathered outside his door, encircling his home.
Akuhito observed the crowd surrounding him, he continued walking, determined to make his way through. Suddenly, a woman reached out and grabbed his shoulder, attempting to speak. However, Akuhito's rage consumed him, and without hesitation, he turned around and forcefully grasped the woman's head, erasing her mind repeatedly in a fit of anger. The woman crumpled to the ground, her consciousness stripped away.
Witnessing this act, the other individuals in the vicinity reacted swiftly, launching punches toward Akuhito. However, his reflexes kicked in, allowing him to deftly evade their attacks, skillfully dodging each blow.
Akuhito forcefully pushed the man to the ground, a resolute expression etched across his face. He addressed the surrounding crowd with a chilling proclamation, declaring it a "one-sided annihilation." Akuhito warned them that approaching him would result in the swift loss of their human lives. The weight of his presence intensified, causing an air of intense pressure to envelop the scene.
Undeterred by the commotion, Akuhito resumed his determined stride, continuing on his path. However, it became apparent that in this world, the word "Hagu" held no meaning—it was merely a malevolent presence that existed, devoid of any defined purpose or definition.
Akuhito pressed on, his footsteps echoing through the distance, he found himself reflecting on the situation. With a tinge of remorse in his voice, he murmured, "Everyone here is a victim. It's as if I've held the entire universe hostage." The weight of his actions weighed heavily upon him, realizing the impact he had on those around him.
Undeterred by his inner turmoil, Akuhito continued his relentless journey, venturing further and further. Eventually, his path led him to the grandeur of the mountains, their majestic peaks stretching towards the sky. In the solitude of nature, he sought solace, perhaps hoping to find answers or redemption amidst the vastness of the natural world.
