<p>VERONICA<br/><br/>"It's not like this is the first time a player is asking me out."I said to Sam.<br/><br/>"Oh,I Know but this player we are taking about is no other than Hunter Bush."he replied.<br/><br/>"I fully understand what you mean but why do you feel sorry for me?"I asked him.<br/><br/>"I feel sorry for you because,you know nobody says no to those guys and go scot free."he replied with a sigh.<br/><br/>"It's not like they are in a mafia or something and I already told him no and I don't plan on changing my answer and there is nothing he can do about it but to stay back."I replied with an eye roll.<br/><br/>"Veronica, this is Hunter Bush we are taking about here."<br/><br/>"So?"I asked rolling my eyes and I'm tired of doing that already but I can't help it.<br/><br/>"well,you of all people should know he won't stay back easily."he stated the obvious.<br/><br/>"Yeah,but he will be forced to."<br/><br/>"By who?"he asked holding his laughter.<br/><br/>"By me."I replied then he started laughing and clapping at the same time.<br/><br/>"I'm so proud of you."He said mockingly.<br/><br/>"Stop it."I said reasoning how funny the statement I just made is as I try to hold my own laughter but he didn't stop until my phone started ringing.<br/><br/>We both looked at the caller ID and it was Hunter.<br/><br/>" Don't answer it. "He said.<br/>"why won't I?" I asked him.<br/><br/>"He Will think you have been waiting for his call."<br/>"Oh, that's just bullshit."I replied as I picked up my phone.<br/>   "So, when am I allowed to pick the call?" I asked looking at my phone.<br/>" when he calls for the third or fourth time." he replied.<br/>seriously?<br/><br/><em>What we do to prevent looking desperate.SMH.</em><br/><br/>"Okay,"I said then the phone rang again.<br/>"I guess this is the third time."I said before picking the call.<br/><br/>"Hey,"He said.<br/>"Hi,"I replied.<br/><br/>"Is everything alright over there?"He asked.<br/><br/>"Yeah,why did you ask?"<br/><br/>" It's because I called you two times before you picked the call,hope I'm not disturbing you."he said and I looked at Sam as if silently blaming him for the delay and he shrugged in reply.<br/><br/>"No you are not,I was not with my phone."<br/><br/>"So,why did you call?"I asked him.<br/><br/>"Can you please send me your address?I will like to come over."he asked.<br/><br/>I looked at Sam who could hear what Hunter said because the call was on speaker and he mouthed, "DON'T GIVE HIM"<br/><br/>"Hello,are you still there? "Hunter asked me.<br/>"Yeah.,I'm still here."I replied.<br/><br/>"So, can you give me your address now?"he asked.<br/><br/>"Why do you want to come over?" I asked.<br/><br/>"I just want to hang out and please don't say no." <br/><br/>"Okay,end the call so I can send you the address."I said then he ended the call so<br/>I quickly switched my phone off.<br/><br/>"What should I do?"I asked Sam panicking. <br/><br/>"I don't know but don't switch your phone on for now."he replied and I did just that.<br/><br/>As the both of us continued talking,Sam started telling me about the girl he was crushing on.<br/><br/>"So you still have a crush on Stephanie hun?"I asked him smilling.<br/><br/>Stephanie is a brunette that Sam has been crushing on for about one year now and I don't know why he is scared to ask her out.<br/><br/>She is even in the same grade as us which I believe makes it easier. <br/>Left to me, there is nothing special about Stephanie.<br/>She is just a petite brunette with thin pink lips and button nose and I haven't really taken a look at her because I only noticed her because of her hair.<br/>The length is very nice and I have always loved long, rich hair.<br/>But other than that , her beauty is just mid to me .<br/>So I don't get why he is so nervous to ask her out.<br/><br/>We later watched a movie together and after chatting for sometime,he left.<br/><br/>   About two minutes later,Liam came back home and he was smiling to himself.<br/><br/>" what's up bro?you are looking so Happy today.where are you coming from?"<br/><br/>I asked him curiously. <br/><br/>"I am coming from my friend's house."he said before going up to his room.<br/><br/><br/>After sometime,he came downstairs making a phone call at the same time.<br/>When he sat down,I asked him what his reason for happiness was then he opened his phone and logged in Facebook without answering me.<br/>He can be really annoying and irritating sometimes. <em>Infact, most of the times.</em><br/><br/><br/>"Seriously Liam I just asked you a question and you didn't even turn to at least acknowledge a human being talking here." I said furious.<br/>This is one of those moments that I feel like smacking his head.<br/><br/> Immediately,the door bell rang and Liam went to open the door then a girl came inside.<br/><br/>Not just any girl but Stephanie Noah.<br/>The same Stephanie that I and Sam just talked about earlier.<br/><br/><em>"what a joke."</em> I said to myself.<br/><br/><br/><br/>------------------------------------------------------<br/>MEANWHILE IN BRYAN'S HOUSE <br/><br/>"What's wrong?" Bryan asked Hunter.<br/><br/>" I don't know,I think the network is bad because her phone is not Connecting and it's saying switched off but it's weird because I just finished speaking to her."Hunter replied.<br/><br/>"Maybe she switched it off or her battery is drained."Bryan said as he sat down on the couch.<br/><br/>"Why will she switch it off? I was talking to her and all of a sudden her phone became switched off and I don't even know if I should be worried. <br/>It's disturbing though."he replied.<br/><br/>" What were you talking about?" Bryan asked.<br/> <br/>"I asked her to send me her address because I wanted to go over to her house."<br/><br/>"Well, maybe she doesn't want to give you her address."Bryan said.<br/><br/>"Which girl won't want to give me her address? and it's just a common address there is no big deal there."Hunter said.<br/><br/>"I don't have an answer to that but you should know that all girls are not the same."Bryan said.<br/><br/><em>Great, now Bryan has become a motivational speaker.</em><br/><br/>"I will just try her phone later."he said as he kept his phone on the table in front of them.<br/><br/>"Did you tell her about the party? "Bryan asked.<br/><br/>"Yeah,I did and she said yes but it took a lot of convincing before she agreed to come. "Hunter replied.<br/><br/>"Cool, but don't do anything stupid."Bryan warned.<br/><br/>"How did you know I plan on spiking her drink and taking her home with me?" Hunter said smilling.<br/><br/>"Why will you want to do that?" Bryan asked.<br/><br/>"I really don't think it's a good idea and that's rape because she didn't consent to it."Bryan said shocked at the plan of his cousin.<br/><br/>"I'm really sure she wants it but she is just playing hard to get and as far as I know, she doesn't have a boyfriend. <br/>I made my research and don't worry, I will make sure she wants it before I do anything to her."Hunter said. <br/><br/>"Don't do it bro." Bryan warned because Hunters plan wasn't right at all.<br/><br/>"Why shouldn't I? besides that's all I want from her and that was why I spoke to her in the first place."Hunter replied not ready to back out.<br/><br/>" I don't know but I just feel it's not right and forget about my feelings, everybody knows it's not right ."Bryan said.<br/><br/>"Fine,I will think about it and I don't even know why you are bothered. <br/>what's your deal?"he asked Bryan.<br/><br/>"Why do you have to think about it?" Bryan asked in return ignoring Hunters question.<br/><br/>"You seem so interested in this girl,hope there is nothing I need to know."Hunter said facing Bryan.<br/><br/>"Well,do whatever you want."Bryan said and left the living room to his room in anger.<br/><br/>Hunter tried Veronica's number again then she picked the call.<br/><br/>"Hello,"Veronica said.<br/><br/>"Hello,did something go wrong?I tried your phone but it wasn't going through."Hunter said.<br/><br/>"Oh, sorry maybe the network was bad."She replied.<br/><br/>"Okay,so what about the address?"he asked.<br/><br/>" I will give it to you tomorrow when I get to school."she said hoping he would forget about it.<br/><br/>"Why can't you give it to me now?"he asked.<br/><br/><em>Obsessed much.</em><br/><br/>"Besides,I want to be the one to pick you up from your house to the party on Friday if you haven't forgotten about it."he added.<br/><br/>"Hunter ,I'm kind of busy right now maybe we can talk later."she told him and ended the call.<br/>------------------------------------------------------<br/>     <br/><strong>VERONICA.</strong><br/><br/>At school the next day,I tried to avoid Hunter as much as I could but that didn't stop him.<br/>He even had to stand beside my locker so he will see me when I come to collect my books.<br/><br/>Not forgeting ,yesterday my brother introduced Stephanie to me as his girlfriend and I didn't feel happy because it just hurt me to see Sam's crush being taken away.<br/><br/>Sam is also like a brother to me and don't get me wrong, I also love Liam even if he is an annoying piece of sh*t but I just want Sam to be happy and I know he won't be if he hears about this.<br/>And Liam can always get another girl.<br/><br/><em>He is probably dating Stephanie for fun because the girls he brings here never last in the relationship.</em><br/><br/>Anyway,he will get over it. <br/>I just feel kinda guilty because it's my brother she happens to be dating.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/></p>
