"Nothing, I'm just curious on how did you craft the spear that made Cu Chulainn famous." I said to Scathach which made her ponder.

"I'll tell you, on one condition." Scathach said as I'm curious about her condition.

"Sure, go ahead."

"Fulfill my wish." Scathach simply said.

Not speaking anymore, I summoned Yamato as she is a warrior worthy of respect. To reach the pinnacle of spearmanship and kill Gods with merely her spear.

I then positioned myself(The stance where Dante and Vergil face off in DMC 5, I don't know how to put it into words dammit) as I lowered my stance and pointed Yamato to Scathach.

We then clashed in a battle of speed as we strike each other, no magic, no runes, no demonic power. Just pure sword arts and spear arts.

We fought for 10 minutes without stopping that even Soi Fon who was watching the match was enlightened on how to utilize speed on a higher level than shunpo.

After 5 more minutes of clashing, I hit Scathach with a heavy strike, to which she blocked as it blew her quite a distance.

"You are indeed the Son of Sparda. A monstrous genius, I'm sure you will surely surpass your father and reach the heights he's never touched before." Scathach said as she praised me.

"But I think its time we-" I cut off Scathach's words.

"Ended this." I positioned myself once more as I unlocked my limiter, I transformed to my DMC 5 self and transformed into my sin devil trigger, immense demonic power descended with me at the center that the ghosts and evil spirits at the boundaries were pushed back and became scared.

"I have never seen this form even from Sparda. Looks like you've already surpassed him." Scathach astonished at my sin devil trigger.

"Not yet, it is just merely me unleashing my limiter. I can only maintain this power for 1 hour tops." I said to Scathach as I rushed towards her and as I was about to strike her, she closed her eyes as she felt like her wish was about to be fulfilled. Her wish that not even the Original Cu Chulainn can grant.

As the sword was about to hit her, I shifted it to the side a little bit, missing her by a hair's breadth.

Clouds of dust covered the both of us as she opened her eyes with eyes filled with rage.

"WHY?! WHY WON'T YOU FULFILL MY WISH?! WHY?! ANSWER ME! W...hy?" She said as her eyes softened and slowly flooded with tears.

"Why, you ask? There's more to life than guarding a stupid piece of land. You want to die in the battlefield because you've lived your life for so long being bathed in blood and bones of your enemy? How ridiculous. You were once a human before you had a divinity and became the guardian of the land of shadows. So you must know it too. A human can enjoy life because their time is short, they don't even know if they will still be alive to see the sun by the time they sleep."

"But-" I cut her off once more.

"You're immortal? Have you done anything what you want since you were a child? Have you eaten a mortal's food after becoming immortal? Have you enjoyed the technology they created? You've only seen the changes but never dipped your hands on them. Tell me, other than fighting, killing, and guarding this stupid piece of land. Have you done anything? There's more to life, you just had to experience it." she fell silent as she had no words to refute it.

"*Sigh* I need to stop talking like a shitty protagonist of an anime. It doesn't suit me." I said

'Vergil would kill me that's for sure.' I thought.

"Protagonist? Anime? What's that?" Scathach asked

"See? You don't even know the common knowledge of the mortals. You've got a lot more to learn, so find yourself a successor of guarding this piece of land." I said

'If I had the materials I would've created a sword similar to Yamato and seal this place. But unfortunately, I don't. My f*cking father didn't even leave an ingot behind for me and Dante. I CALL FOR CHILD SUPPORT DAMMIT. If I ever get the chance to see my father's shadow or a part of his soul,projection or anything, I swear to hit his face even If he dodges.'

"I see, then will you stay behind till I find myself a successor? After that I would like to come with you and go visit the mortal world once more. Don't worry the time here is way slower than the outside. A second outside is equivalent of a year here." She said after seeing me hesitating.

"Sur-" I was about to agree and dodged using Darkslayer Arts when she tried to steal a kiss from me but she anticipated it as well, catching me off guard. I was stunned but before I was about to say anything to her, she already ran off back to the palace.

Soi Fon was also stunned, I am her fiancee, she didn't mind it if it was someone she knew, like Mayumi, Amaterasu, or the others but seeing a stranger to her suddenly stealing a kiss to my cheeks, made her feel weird.

'Why do I feel like God cursed me with luck with women? You're enjoying it aren't you, you bast*rd.' I thought as I finally regained my emotions.

I saw Soi Fon acting weirdly, I know what she's thinking so I decided to have a go at it since it already happened as I grabbed Soi Fon and kissed her deeply in the lips. It was our first kiss since we were engaged. It was also my first kiss since I transmigrated into this world.

Soi Fon didn't fight it as she kissed me back although sloppily. It's legal as I'm in my DMC 5 form, but when I revert back? No no, FBI would be in my tail.

Soon we separated as tears threatened to fall in her eyes as I wiped it off her face.

"You're my fiancee and will always be, let's get married when I'm of my legal age, okay?" I said comforting Soi Fon as she nods but her next words made me dumbfounded.

"But what about Mayumi and the others? There's also the girl from earlier. I don't mind if I get to share you, but promise me that you'll never forget me."

'Where did the traditional Soi Fon go? Is that you?' I thought

"Why?" I asked her

"I can feel that they have the same feelings I have for you. Even though Mayumi always talked us through it, I'm not dumb enough to cause them pain, the same pain I felt after Yoruichi left me to join Kisuke in the human world." She finally gathered the courage to say her feelings to me.

I can only sigh at her words and let it be, if fate wills it, then so be it.

I don't know much about Alpha and Beta, but I do know that Alpha applies to fighting and in bed.

Also spoiling your girl is the way it should be, and she'd do the same and spoil you too. It is a balanced relationship. Like Yin-Yang. A bird wouldn't be able to fly if only one wing is flapping. Being an Alpha all the time is toxic in my opinion, it wouldn't take you far in a relationship IRL.
