"Miss Jean, was it? Does Miss Jean know about a quadruplet who attack adventurers inside the labyrinth?" Vergil's words made Jean narrow her eyes.

"I do know of them. Why do you ask?" Jean asked Vergil.

"They chose to attack us by sending a skeleton horde towards us and to wear us down. Three of my party members are down because of mana exhaustion after fighting against waves of skeleton." Vergil said and Jean was pondering about Vergil's words.

"Since you're here, does that mean you manage to fend them off?" Jean asked calmly, if someone inexperienced were in her position, they would be panicking because there's someone attacking the Summoned Heroes from Other World in the labyrinth.

"Fend them off? You've got the wrong idea, Miss Jean. I didn't fend them off, I killed them." Vergil then put his heavy bag down and rummaged through the stuff inside and brought out three sacks with dried red liquid at the bottom.

Vergil's actions, shocked Jean. If she remembered correctly and the information she had read, they were summoned not even for more than a month and he was saying that he killed four members of that organization.

"I see, let me remind you that they are wanted criminals, since you've brought evidence that you've managed to take them down, you'll receive a pretty good sum of coins. Just claim it at the cashier later." Jean said as she passed a letter to Vergil which he gladly accepted.

"Do you mind if you share me who this guys are?" Vergil asked but Jean shook her head.

"Unfortunately, all I can tell you is that the name of their organization is Red Skulls. As for information about them, they are confidential. You will only earn their ire by snooping around so I suggest you drop it. They are a troublesome organization. We're going to tighten up the security around Horaud, thank you for letting us know." Jean said but Vergil's face turned serious. It might seem like the attack was a planned one.

"Is that so? Then we'll take our leave." Vergil said before turning heels.

"Wait, what's your name?" Jean asked Vergil.

"Vergil." Vergil continued walking out without turning around to face the woman.

"Hey, Vergil, now that we're finally safe, where did you get that sword?" Hajime asked as he pointed at the sword hanging on his waist.

"This? Got it from the bastards. It was a katana and it fits my swordsmanship so I took it." Vergil said and Hajime didn't say anything anymore.

After they arrived at their residence, Hajime, bid farewell to Vergil and just crashed to a room that he randomly opened. He was seriously sleepy due to what happened today. They were supposed to gain experience but all he saw was four headless enemies.

With Hajime gone, Vergil went to the training hall. He sat down and thought about things. He was just another human who got lucky, became Vergil, learned from Vergil himself, and was transported to another world, twice, at that. But even though he and Vergil had similar points, he was not his carbon copy.

He was having trouble in coming to terms on how he will carry himself, he already rejected on acting according to his own body age. Should he act like a grumbling old man? At least he didn't want that, he was young once more and he didn't have many regrets to fulfill anymore to grumble like an old fool.

While he was meditating, Zeltretch's voice was heard in his mind.

'Why are you having trouble on how to carry yourself? Have you already forgotten who you are?' Zeltretch's words enlightened him.

That's right, he was still him. Why is he worrying about such a simple thing? Was it to blend in with the world? If so, then he's not being himself. When he was a young man, full of hot headedness and drive, he was arrogant to those who wants to cross him, cold against his enemies, and decisive when finishing off his enemies.

When he destroyed the family he loathed, he lost his brashness and became calm headed person. Even if the world is ending, he would be calm like a statue. Many tried to covet what he has, and many fell down in doing so. Many people crossed him and became his stepping stone.

But one thing is for certain, he was warm towards those whom he considered on his side, his aunt, allies, friends. No one betrayed him for that reason, he took great care and passion in helping them out to the best of his abilities without them asking.

Enlightened about his identity, Vergil opened his eyes and the turbidness in his eyes were gone, only clarity is being shown on his clear blue eyes.

With Yamato on his lap, he stood up and started practicing his master's swordsmanship.

Hours passed by and Vergil was sweating all over his body. He was maintaining the same stance for a long time, the iai stance, winds were currently blowing around him and Vergil seemed to be waiting for something.

A strong wind blew, carrying with it are leaves that got blown by the wind. Opening his eyes, he unsheathed Yamato before quickly resheathing its blade. The leaves were sliced into many pieces before falling down and blown away by the wind.

"What amazing swordsmanship." A womanly voice praised him. Vergil turned around to see Jean watching him on the side. He nodded to her, acknowledging her presence before taking deep breaths.

"May I know why Miss Jean is here?" Vergil asked the lady in front of him.

"Your companions are already awake and I suppose you're their leader with your friend earlier." Jean said and he nodded.

"Thanks for the information." Vergil carried yamato as he passed by Jean.

"You should be careful, Red Skulls is now aware of the death of their four members sent to capture members of your group to become slaves. There are already two Red Skulls operatives working secretly in the town searching for the location of their killer. Its better to give their heads to me personally. So that it wouldn't placate you or your group. Leave it to the adventurer's guild." Jean said and Vergil left the woman who had slight curiosity in her eyes.

"How are you feeling?" Vergil asked the trio who are lying down in the infirmary.

"Just a bit exhausted from the fight." Nana said tiredly.

"Can you stand up? I'm going to bring you to our temporary residence." Vergil said but they all shook their heads.

"I see. Then you better rest more. Once you're fully recovered, I'll bring you to the temporary residence." Vergil said with a smile.

"Leader, you look really cute when you smile." Nana suddenly said surprising everyone including Vergil.

"Heh~ is that a love confession?" Yuka said but Nana shook her head.

"Its not, its a just a compliment. Leader really looks pretty good when he smiles you guys just don't notice it." Nana said while crossing her arms.

"Thanks for the compliment then. Just focus on resting for now." Vergil chuckled as he left the room. As soon as he closed the room, he felt someone staring at him. He looked at the direction on where he felt the gaze but saw no one in that direction. Vergil's mind was working as he left the infirmary.

As soon as he left, two figures in black robe appeared on the hallway where Vergil looked at.

"That kid's got pretty amazing senses. Boss told us to finish the idiot brothers' job and kill those who killed them. Finishing their job is our priority regardless." The robed man said but his partner shook his head.

"We will move at night. We could create a lot of distractions under the moonlight." The robed man's partner said.

"You and your obsession with moonlight." The robed man said as he chuckled. He then waved his hand and the two of them were out of sight once more.
