Mana Sensing and Class Skills Training

"Looking good, sir." The butler praised Vergil.

Staring at the mirror in front of him for a second, Vergil mused at the fact that they managed to recreate it perfectly. As much as Vergil wants to wear it, it is an outfit not fit for fighting. If he didn't want his clothes to be destroyed, then he would have to dodge every attack incoming towards him which counts as training for Vergil.

"Sir, Knight Commander Meld demands the attention of all the heroes to come to the training ground." The butler said and Vergil nodded.

"Thanks for recreating this." Vergil said which made the butler shook his head.

"No, sir, it is thanks to you that we were able to create a new set of clothes. It may be rude but can you please allow our seamstress to recreate your clothes and sell it for profit? It would boost the Kingdom's economy." The butler said.

"Alright but change the variation and design, it would be weird seeing my own design selling on the streets." Vergil said and the butler bowed his head in thanks.

"I don't know how to thank you, Mr. Hero." The butler said.

"No need. I don't need your thanks. You did your job perfectly. Consider it as the payment for recreating this outfit." Vergil said and the butler raised his head and nodded.

"Well then. Let's go to the training ground." Vergil murmured to himself.

"Have a nice day, sir." The butler said in farewell and Vergil nodded in acknowledgement.

Vergil arrived at the training room and saw everyone already in their outfit. Kouki and the hero party still doesn't have their artifacts but Vergil thought that it would be given to them before they entered the labyrinth.

"Man, I didn't thought that you were an early riser. A maid even have to come and wake me up. Also did they have yukatas in this world? How come you have one?" Ryutarou's energetic voice came towards Vergil.

'You're just loud and I wouldn't be able to meditate even if I have the most OP will in the world.' Vergil thought to himself.

"I gave them the design and they replicated it perfectly." Vergil replied and Ryutarou smiled.

"Isn't it going to be hard for you to fight using a yukata?" Ryutarou asked in curiosity.

"It will be hard but I'll count it as training. If I can't dodge then my yukata will be ruined. As long as I dodge everything coming my way, it'll be fine." Vergil replied and Ryutarou thought for a bit.

"True, its a good training regimen. Can't deny that." Ryutarou said and Meld's voice sounded gaining everyone's attention.

"Today marks the start of your official training. We'll teach you how to sense mana. With the help of the mages of the Kingdom, we'll show you how to sense mana and how to use it. Please line up in front of the mages so that they'll help you." Meld said and the students were excited about it.

Meld got off the stand and started walking towards Vergil.

"Vergil, do you mind helping us out? The faster they learn how to sense mana, the sooner we'll be able to go to the labyrinth to gain some experience." Meld asked Vergil for a favor. Students who were near the two were surprised to hear that Vergil could already sense mana.

"Sure." Vergil nodded and Meld was about to turn around and ask for Shizuku's help as well but Vergil's words stopped him.

"I only taught her how to sense mana, not manipulate it. She wouldn't be able to help yet." Vergil said and Meld thought about it for a second.

"Sorry, I was too hasty." Meld apologized as he turned around.

"One of your comrades have already managed to sense and use mana, he will help us out. Line up and he'll teach you in sensing your mana." Meld said and the students who heard Meld's voice were envious of Vergil but not too much since they would be able to sense mana as well.

The students divided themselves and lined up to the instructors, Vergil included. In his line were a few people he already knew.

"Woah, Vergil. I didn't know you were already able to sense mana." Hajime said cheerfully.

"Just stroke of luck. Now sit down and I'll teach you." Vergil said and Hajime followed suit.

Soon, with Vergil's guidance, Hajime was finally able to sense mana. Vergil then gave the same tip he gave to Shizuku by controlling their mana first.

Next in line was Ryutarou who were as surprised as Hajime.

"Man, I didn't know that my roommate already knew how to sense and use mana." Ryutarou said and Vergil just chuckled.

"You never asked." Vergil said making Ryutarou laugh.

"Indeed. Its my fault for not noticing it then." Ryutarou said and Vergil nodded.

Soon students lining up for Vergil were finally able to sense mana. Although Vergil taught them how to sense mana and gave them tips, not a lot of them followed it. Only a few people followed Vergil's tips like Ryutarou, Hajime, Shizuku, and Kaori.

Finally, the last person to come under Vergil was his teacher, Aiko.

"Amazing, Vergil, you already know how to sense and use mana. I'm proud of you as your teacher." Aiko said while Vergil just smiled in her praise.

"Its just sensing mana, sensei, nothing too get proud of it." Vergil said sincerely.

"Don't lower yourself, Vergil. Being able to sense and use mana is already a great achievement." Aiko said as she sat down for her turn. Vergil just smiled at her in return.

Soon, all of them were finally able to sense mana. Meld gathered everyone's attention once more.

"Now that you know how to sense mana, Its time for you to learn your class skills." Meld said earning an excited reacrion from the students.

"Using skills is not too much really. In your status plates, the skill chant were written there. As long as you chanted them while rousing your mana, it will automatically be unleashed." Meld said and demonstrated.

"Flames, strike down my enemy! Fireball!" Meld stretched his hand out as a magic circle appeared, a fireball then came out and hit the wall. Meld lowered the power as he didn't want to destroy the wall as he was just doing an example.

'Nope, not going to do that.' Vergil thought to himself before looking at the excited students around him.

'Seriously? They want to do that?' Vergil thought as he almost facepalmed.

Other students who had already checked their status plates out took them out and started exploring the status plates. Soon, the first batch of spells came out as the excited students tested them out. As for those who haven't validated their status plate, hardened their hearts and had someone prick their finger to drip their blood onto their status plates.

"Limit break!" Kouki's voice was heard and the sword he was holding, gave out and crumbled. Shocked faces stared at Kouki and he felt a little embarrassed from what just happened.

"Oops. Sorry... I broke my weapon, can I get another one?" Kouki asked and Meld came out of his stupor.

"Looks like your weapon could not hold out because of the amount of mana you used and injected to the weapon." Meld said and Kouki became even more embarrassed for causing the scene.

"Its fine, follow me, we'll get you a new one." Meld said and motioned Kouki to follow him.

Before he left, he instructed the students to train on their own. He also warned them not to hurt their comrades with their own magic. Seeing that Meld and the mages left, the students started trying their skills out.

"I've managed to control my mana. What's next?" Shizuku came to Vergil for guidance.

"Hm? You should first try out your skills. After that, remember the movements of mana inside your body. I'm pretty sure you could use your skills without chanting. At least I don't want to do that." Vergil said and Shizuku thought for a second before asking.

"Why?" Shizuku asked and Vergil chuckled.

"Once your enemy hear your chant for the first time, they'll be able to evade your skill next time. Chanting your skill is basically telling your enemy that you're going to do something, obviously they'll evade that." Vergil said and Shizuku was enlightened by the fact that Vergil pointed to her.

Those who followed Vergil's tip and meditating heard his words and were enlightened as well.

"Are you really able to manifest your mana?" Shizuku asked and Vergil just smiled at her question and just meditated, not willing to answer her question.

"Instead of asking me about that, just sit down and hone your control over your mana. The better your control, the more efficient you'll be able to use mana. The more efficient you control your mana, the more skills you'll be able to unleash." Vergil said as he sat down and meditated.

Shizuku sighed before sitting down and started meditating as well.
