PART 54

" Nope." Sofia replied and they again started fighting. Antonia sighed.

At one point of fighting Sofia got on Leos lap. Leo held her by the waist and looked at her.

" You like to climb on me that much?" He said smirking.

Sofia was red in embarrassment. She was about to start fighting but Leo held her hands fast. They kept looking at each other forgetting people around them. Charlie started coughing to gain their attention. They let go each other and sat properly. Others started laughing.

" Antonia, you should give us a tour of the mansion. You are done right?" Lucas said.

" Yeah. Let's go then. I'll show you guys some places." Antonia said.

It was already night. Antonia was waiting for Aurora. Aurora didn't even picker up any calls. All of them had dinner and went to their rooms but Antonia was waiting in the living room.

" Still waiting?" Someone said.

Antonia turned around and found Lucas standing with a water bottle.

" Yeah. She should come back soon."

" Charlie is waiting for her too maybe. His door was wide open."

" Yeah. He is at the yard."

" Would you mind if I give you some company?" Lucas asked.

" Aren't you sleepy?"

" Not anymore."

" Then have a seat."

Lucas sat down beside her. " Where do you study Antonia?"

" I am taking online course. I don't like to go university."

" Any particular reason for not liking it?"

" Maybe" Antonia said mumbling. Lucas understood that she wasn't comfortable talking about it.

" Do you like what you do now? I mean these mafia stuffs?"

" Yeah. I love it. But It's hard too. Though Aurora doesn't let me do any hard work but seeing her struggling sometime I feel suffocation. She has saved my life, given me this family. So I want to give her everything I can but I fail to do so. She is stubborn. She doesn't allow anyone to remove the shell of her. This bugs me a lot."

" I think now she has someone equally stubborn like her and soon her shell will come off." Lucas said smiling.

" I think that too. I will be glad if that happens. She deserves every good thing in this world."

" You deserve them too Antonia. You are also a selfless girl. You have saved me too. I wish a great life for you too."

Antonia looked at Lucas and she again saw that mix of emotions in his eyes. Both of them kept looking at each other. " I'm already having a great life. I have my dad, sister, Sofia. UNDOCILE is my final destination. They have given me something I never have. They have given an orphan a life full of love. I will be grateful to them forever."

" You have me too now." Lucas said smiling. Antonia kept looking at him.

" I know you are confused. I know you have everything. But then why do I feel there is an empty spot Antonia?"

Antonia didn't reply.

" Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me today. I'll be there if you need to share anything anytime."

" That empty spot can't be filled Lucas." Antonia looked away and said dully.

" We will see that."

" Tell me about your life." Antonia said with a little smile.

" I'm very fun loving guy. I'm the only child as you know. I have my family, best friends. But only one spot is empty. Here." Lucas said pointing at his heart. Antonia kept looking.

" You will find that soon too." Antonia said smiling.

At the same time Aurora and Charlie came inside of the mansion. Antonia stood up and went towards them.

" I think I have already found her Antonia. Just need to make her mine." Lucas said to Himself. He followed Antonia.

" Why are you all awake?" Aurora asked.

" I was sleeping. I just came to take water." Lucas replied.

" I'm going to my room." Aurora said and went towards her room without saying anything more.

" Is everything alright?" Antonia asked.

" Yeah. Ryna and her baby boy both are completely fine." Charlie replied.

" That's a relief then." Antonia said.

" Will she punish those guards?" Lucas asked.

" They will have punishment. But not scary like you are thinking."

Lucas nodded his head.

" She didn't have her dinner. Can you prepare something for her? I'll take it to her." Charlie said.

" Yeah. Sure."

Aurora got a shower. She stood in her balcony. She was relaxed now. She was able to keep her promise. She heard a knock on her door. Thinking it is Antonia she said, " I won't eat anything Antonia. Take the food with you."

Charlie didn't say anything. He kept the food beside her bed and went towards her. He hugged her from the back. Aurora was little surprised at that. She sided her head and found Charlie staring at her. She kept staring too.

" Are you okay?" Charlie asked.

" Why?"

" What why?"

" Why are you showing this much interest in me?"

" Maybe because I'm actually very much interested in you."

" You can go this far just to take me in your bed for one night?"

Charlie felt hurt somehow. Does she still think he is doing these for some fun? Doesn't she trust him? " Have I ever treated you like that? Like I just want you for my own pleasure?"

Aurora felt bad. She knew she has hurt him. But she kept quite.

" Do you really think that low of me Aurora?" He didn't call her princess. Aurora felt a sharp pain in her chest. But she kept quite this time too.

" You are tired. Come, take your dinner."

" I'm not hungry." Aurora mumbled.

" You want me to stay here with you whole night?"

Somehow Aurora actually wanted that. She mentally scolded herself for thinking these things. " No."

" Then come and eat. I'll not leave otherwise."

Charlie left Aurora and went towards the food. Aurora followed him too. Aurora sat there and Charlie fed her. " I don't need these princess treatments Charlie. You can stop this."

" Yeah. I know you don't need anything from me. I'm not even worthy of you. I'm not giving you princess treatments. I'm serving my queen. Think it like that."

Aurora didn't say anything further. Why did she feel bad when he said he is not worthy of her? Is she worthy of him? Does she deserve love anymore after that betrayal? Does love actually exist? All these things were running in her head.
