PART 139

"Are you feeling okay now?" Lucas asked.

" No." Antonia whispered.

Lucas kept soothing her back. " I'm here Antonia. Don't worry." He said.

Antonia didn't say anything. After sometime Antonia looked at him. " Dad. I want dad." She mumbled.

Lucas stared back at her. She was looking like a baby in his embrace.

" Okay. Let me call him then."

Lucas took Antonias phone and dialed her dads number.

But he didn't pick up.

" He is still sleeping probably." Antonia said realizing her dad didn't receive the call.

But soon they heard Mr. Mariano's concerned voice.

" What's wrong dear?" He asked coming into the room.

He was stilled seeing them that close. Antonia broke the hug.

"Dad.." she called and kept crying. Mr. Mariano hurriedly went towards her and hugged her while standing. Antonia kept crying.

" Did she have a panic attack Lucas?"

Lucas understood that it was not the first time. It's common for her. " Yes Sir. She is stable now."

Lucas said standing up. Mr. Mariano sat in his position and hugged her back.

" Dad.." Antonia tried to say something but couldn't. She was still struggling to make words properly.

" I'm here dear. Don't worry. You dad is here. No one can harm you. Dad will fight with every evil monster for you. Okay? Calm down sweetheart." Mr. Mariano said.

Lucas kept looking at them. He smiled seeing the bond between them. No one would have a hint that Antonia is his adopted daughter that even from past few years. How amazing dad Mr. Mariano is! He went out quietly to give them some privacy.

Mr. Mariano kept mumbling sweet things to his daughter. He got worried as soon as he saw her calling him. So he ran towards her room without receiving the call. He was glad he did that.

Antonia stopped crying after a while. " Dad, Ronald Richard is.."

Mr. Mariano didn't let her complete the sentence. " I know. You don't have to say anything regarding to it."

Antonia broke the hug and looked at him.

" You knew? For how long?"

Mr. Mariano patted her hair and said, " Since the day you came here dear."

Antonia kept looking at her dad being speechless.  " Yet you didn't do anything? You have given me a home, a family, most importantly you have always treated me like your own even after knowing all of my past?" Antonia asked after sometime.

Mr. Mariano chuckled. " Then what should I do in your suggestion?"

" I don't know." Antonia sighed.

Mr. Mariano smiled. " Does Aurora know?" Antonia asked again looking at her dad.

" No."

" I have to tell her then."

" That's between you and your sister dear. Did he trigger your attack?"

Antonia nodded looking down. " Don't you hate me dad?" Antonia asked still lowering her head.

" Antonia, don't ever think I'll hate my own daughter for something so trivial like this. Your identity to me is only that you are my daughter  and I love you just as much as Aurora." Antonia again hugged her dad.

" You should take some rest dear. Sleep more. It's time for the heirs training. I should go to them. "

Antonia nodded and lied down. Mr. Mariano kissed on her forehead.  He was about to go out but turned around smiling smugly.

" Should I send Lucas so you two can spend some alone time?"

Antonia was all red. She didn't say anything and turned around not to face her dad anymore. Mr. Mariano chuckled and went out.

Antonia again sank into deep thoughts. She was afraid of that monster. She knew how low that man can stoop just to cherish his own desires. How terrible person he is! She was really scared to face him after so many years.

Does he know about her? Does he know that she is still alive? All these thoughts were making her go insane. But she was sure about one thing. This family is her everything. She will never allow anyone to harm her family. No matter how much she fears him she will stand in front of him with her head high to protect her real family.

But she is still weak. What should she do? Moreover her hand isn't fine. Aurora strictly prohibited her to take part in any war. But she has to join this war. She has to prepare for it. She will make herself more strong. She will practice with this injured hand behind everyones back so no one can stop her. She was determined to do her training again which could be deadly for her.

It was already noon. All the heirs were done doing their morning scheduled training. They were getting really better. All of them were in the dining area with Mr. Mariano to have their lunch.

" You guys won't have any study session today. Angel, Antonia both are taking rest. I'll look after them. You can study those previous things by yourselves." Mr. Mariano said while eating.

" I can look after Antonia if you let me Sir." Lucas said eagerly. Everyone gave him a smile.

" Yeah. She'll be happy if you take care of her in my place I think so." Mr. Mariano said with a smirk. Lucas started coughing being embarrassed. Everyone laughed out loudly.

" Uncle Aurora still hasn't woke up. Shouldn't we contact doctor uncle again?" Sofia asked.

" I think that too. Isn't it unusual to be unconscious this long?" Harry said.

" She is healing inside and making up for her sleepless nights. I think she will wake up soon. We should wait." Charlie said.

" Yeah. She is too tired. We should let her sleep for some time more. Don't worry." Mr. Mariano said.

" Won't Antonia take lunch?" Leo asked.

" She will eat in her room probably." Sofia said.

" Has anyone gone yet with her food?" Lucas asked.

" Look, Rosy is taking her food to her room." Mr. Mariano said looking towards the kitchen. All of them looked and found Rosy with a tray with foods.

" I'll take that to her room." Lucas said hurriedly standing up from his seat.

" You haven't eaten anything properly Lucas." Mr. Mariano said with concern.

" I'm full Sir." saying that Lucas went towards Rosy, took that tray from her and hurriedly went upstairs to Antonia's room.
