Will they be punished?

" Do you think she will die?" asked Su Meirong as she looked at Xua Ying Yue who was bleeding on the ground in the parking lot.

" I don't think so, she is from downtown, people out there fight for their lives all the time. I once saw a video of a man being knocked down by a moving car and yet he got up and rushed to work because he was getting late for work, she will be fine isn't she one of those poor people as well?" Tan Jing snorted with glee as she raised her feet and kicked Xua Ying Yue who was on the ground. " Get up don't pretend to be dead."

But Xua Ying Yue stayed still on the ground, her thighs covered in scars with blood dripping down on the ground. She could of course hear the voices of the three girls but even if she wanted to get up and leave, she couldn't.

Lu Biya frowned seeing that Xua Ying Yue was not getting up and walked over as she looked down at the girl and took out the cigarette that she had in her mouth before bringing it close to Xua Ying Yue's arm as she said, " Stop pretending to be dead, yeah? If you keep pretending then I will seriously burn you, do you want that? No, right? So get up."

No response.

Seeing that Xua Ying Yue was not responding Lu Biya unceremoniously placed the butt of her cigar on Xua Ying Yue's arm causing a low hiss to echo in the vicinity. But even though the burning cigar burned Xua Ying Yue's skin, the latter did not respond and Lu Biya couldn't help but straighten up and slap Tan Jing at the back of her head.

" You stupid, I told you to hold back a little, if she dies then we are all done for good!" She scolded Tan Jing despite watching the show quietly just now, when Tan Jing heard Lu Biya's scolding she wanted to refuse by saying that she did not go too far and it was Xua Ying Yue who was pretending.

She just made a few ten or twenty cuts on the inside of her thighs with her pocket knife how bad can it hurt?

" If she dies then it will bring a lot of bad publicity, I heard that your father is going to attend a business meet, Sister Jing … after what happened last time, isn't your family working as social philanthropists?" Su Meirong chimed in with a sweet voice as her face was lined with fake concern.

" I——"

" What are you girls doing here?" A male voice interrupted them startling the three girls so much that they jumped but when they saw who it was, they all sighed in relief.

" Teacher Chen," Lu Biya smiled playfully as she swaggered off to where the middle age man dressed in a tracksuit was standing and linked her arms with his before she pointed to Xua Ying Yue and said, " We were just playing around with Ying Yue and she fainted, can you take care of this from here? We need to go back to the class since Teacher Ke would be starting his first lecture, would you please?"

As she said this, she tilted her head and pouted at teacher Chen who blinked his eyes at Lu Biya and nodded. " You three can leave, since the class is starting, I will take her to the infirmary."

" Thank you, Teacher Chen! You are the best!" Lu Biya giggled before she turned to look at the foolish Tan Jing and the moron Su Meirong, tipping her chin without a hint of a smile on her face she silently told them to follow her.

Tan Jing and Su Meirong greeted teacher Chen as they walked past him leaving Xua Ying Yue behind to bleed.

Teacher Chen watched the three girls leave before he walked over to Xua Ying Yue, seeing that her eyes were half open and she was looking at him. He crouched down and covered her with the skirt that was lying on the side and then whispered, " Don't blame me too much Ying Yue, they are all very powerful and their parents are the board members … I can't really do anything. I have a daughter to feed at home as well, all right?"

Xua Ying Yue looked at the man who was acting like he did not see anything even after seeing everything and opened her mouth to say something but her body felt too heavy and she could not bring herself to say anything before closing her eyes and fainting again.

When consciousness returned to Xua Ying Yue, the first thing she saw was the white ceiling of the infirmary with a blinding light hovering on top of her head.

At first, because she was feeling really weak, she did not understand what she was doing in the infirmary but when she pushed herself to sit up straight and the searing pain tore through her thighs, Xua Ying Yue realised why she was in the infirmary.

" You are up?" She heard a patient voice from the side, startled she turned to look at the School doctor, Miss Li Yin and blinked her eyes. " I…"

" You had several cuts on your thighs and you were bleeding quite profusely since the cuts were too deep. Fortunately for you, they were not deep enough to be sewed, I have tied a bandage around your wounds and even gave you a blood transfusion since you looked a bit pale," Doctor Li paused in her rant and then added swiftly, " You do not need me to pay back for the blood transfusion just take it as I was doing a good deed."

After she was done speaking, she started to pick up the papers that were scattered all over the table looking a bit awkward and apologetic.

She did not look at Xua Ying Yue but the latter continued to look at her and after a short pause she heard Xua Ying Yue ask, " Will they be punished?"
