Vengeance of The Broken Lycan Prince [BL]

[MATURE CONTENT] "Kiss or Kill?" "Karma." ***** Broken by a pack that was supposed to be home, Tamiko swore to never attend any mating ceremonies. He knew they would eventually reject him, so he didn't want to risk the heartbreak even more. However, a lonely best friend in need of a mate and a bunch of convincing later, Tamiko found himself at the entrance of the mating ceremony. As if that wasn't enough, the midnight moon gave him what he didn't want the most. A mate. But not just any mate. Gabe; the alpha's dark son, a man who made it his mission to make Tamiko's life harder, and also the man Tamiko hated more than life itself. As their eyes glowed in the night, Tamiko didn't see a mate, he saw a very rare opportunity; a chance to run, or be the one that Gabe ran from. He chose the latter. Like a gift from the moon, he realized the one thing that could burn down the Grealor pack. He bore the mark of lycan royalty, more precisely, King Zaffuto's mark. The outcast, Tamiko, was the lost lycan prince.

[TAMIKO]

The king had spoken and his son was staring at him like he had lost his kind. It was impossible to understand what the fuck had just happened and if Tamiko was being honest, this was not how he had expected the conversation to go.

For a moment he was tempted to talk to his father and embrace him, but that was something that Tamiko couldn't do anymore. He could get close to the king as a friend, but that was where it would all end, at least in his head.

"What do you even mean with that? You can't just go around taking in strays like it will suit you. You're the dark king, so fucking be dark. Don't let the reputation you worked so hard for be ruined just like that.

"I am not worth that and you know it too. If you can go on and take interest in every Lycan rogue out there and make your claim, why don't you?" Tamiko said suddenly, making the Lycan lord and chief stare at the prince like he had lost his mind.

Sadako didn't know that Tamiko knew he was the king's son, but Kosta knew; and right now, he wasn't sure if he wanted to stand between the father and son. It was too early, and even Sadako knew that too, so he would sit this one out.

"Wanna try me, kid? Want to see how dark I can get? Want to see what happens when you try to leave? I will lock you up, son. Another word about leaving the place and I'll tie you up in my room myself," the king wanted lowly and Tamiko let out a laugh.

"You need to stop drinking too much, someone would think you're fighting your rebellious son with the way that you keep calling me that. I am your friend, King Zaffuto, although in reality I am just another Lycan rogue in Kawai.

"The sooner you embrace that the easier it will be for the both of us. We can't have you going around staking claims, not that it's my business. Gabriel Grealor is my alpha. I may have rejected his worthless ass as a mate, but I belong in Grealor.

"If you want me here you're going to have to use that brain of yours you get me. But until then, I'm off. Excuse me," Tamiko got up, ready to leave. He couldn't stand being in the presence of his father and now telling them the truth.

It was killing him on the inside and he wasn't sure if this was something he had ever done. Then again, for years he never thought he would have a father, and now he was in Kawai, after knowing who his father was.

It was eating him up and he wasn't sure if the world was supposed to work differently than he had ever been told. This wasn't fair in any way.

"Hinata—" Lord Sadako began but the king spoke at the same time.

"What if I tell you I know your father?"

"Yeah right. You would say anything to make me stay here. Listen, I know you care for me, but I also care for you, more than the universe would probably think of. That is why I need to leave and you need to be the king your people needs," Tamiko tried.

He could feel his heart shattering with every word that came from his mouth. This was a cruel reality. It was making him feel a lot of things and he hated it. He hated the way he had to lie to his father.

He hated the way shit had gone up for him and if he was being honest, he hated the possibility that he would never be able, to tell his father that he was the son that he wanted all those years ago.

"I wouldn't lie to you, son. Look, I understand why you don't want to stay, and I know I may have come off rude and oppressive, but that was never my intention. I only need you to stay in Kawai a little longer.

"You just got mated with a Lycan, and you marked him, which means he will go into what pretty soon. I don't suppose you want to be with your erasthai in the Grealor woods when he can be home and get through his hat peacefully, right?

"Also, I did know your mother. I can take you to her," King Zaffuto said and Tamiko sighed. What was the king about this time? It was like the man wasn't giving up and Tamiko loved it in some twisted way.

He loved that his father refused to let him go because it made Tamiko feel wanted. It was like his father wanted him to stay a little longer so they could stay and live their lives as a father and a son. And not a king and a rogue friend.

Life wasn't being straight with them, so they had to forge their way no matter what would happen later on.

"Let me get this straight. Do you want me to stay because of my Erasthai's heat or you want me to stay because you want to take me to my mother? Because if it is for my erasthai, we both know that as long as I'm with him, it doesn't matter where or when he gets his heat.

"He will be safe and protected. He will be loved and worshiped like the precious man he is. I will take care of him in every way possible known to man. He won't have to worry about anything, because I will protect him.

"I may be young, but I am just as skilled and very capable of keeping the love of my life safe. As for my mother, why should I trust you? You would do anything to make me stay here. That is not enough, your majesty. Besides, no one knows my parents.

"I did everything to find them and never 'found' them. You are the last person who could find them for me, no offense, but you have been in the castle for years and years. Thank you for the warm welcome. I will always remember this.

"As I was saying earlier, excuse me," Tamiko said as he readied himself to get off the dinner table.

He wanted to embrace his father and expand this in simple ways, but then the more he grew up the more Tamiko realized there was never going to be a way around this that didn't involve people getting their hearts broken on people getting disappointed along the way.

"Your mother… She was the center of hearts. She was loved by everyone. She had the smile that out the sun to shame. She had a special kind of warmth, one that everyone in Kawai felt.

"She was a beautiful soul, a woman everyone would always want as their erasthai. She was the best thing that could have happened to us. She was always happy even when things went sideways.

"She always found a way to make things better. If she were here, she would know what to say to you… but unfortunately, son, I'm the only one left. And I can't even convince you to stay without coming off as a dick," King Zaffuto began and Sadako felt the air in the room change.

Oh, this was so not good… or was it?

Nope... not good lol. So not good.
