"We have to leave." Jorin was trying to catch his breath as he burst through the doors.
Earlier that day he had been sent out to gather supplies for their journey ahead. They were set to leave the next day, avoiding villages and main roads as much as possible.
"What happened, boy?" Connor asked as Agnes handed Jorin a cup of water.
"There are soldiers in the town." Jorin told them, panting as Nicholas offered him a seat and took away some of his servant's exhaustion.
Joring looked up at the prince, shocked that he was able to do what he had just did.
Nicholas simply smiled and shrugged as he sat back down on the throne-like chair closest to the fireplace.
"Go on." Dion nodded as everyone moved closer to hear what Jorin had witnessed.
