Oracle, We Meet Again!

For a day and a half, Nicholas and his people rode from the City of Ayr towards the Corporali Clan lands.

Kronos, the capital of the Corprorali Clan, was one of the furthest cities from Ayr which sat at the heart of the land of Merlen.

The land that surrounded Kronos was mountainous and quite dangerous to traverse if one was not familiar with the path.

"When was the last time you went home?" Nicholas asked Connor, he already knew that Dion had not been back for years.

"Two years ago, I visited my parents and buried my eldest uncle. He was on the council of elders, and my father took his place after his death." Connor explained as they approached a small town on the road.

They had done away with their palace clothes and chosen simpler travel wear. It was much more practical since it would keep them safer on the road and it would be more discrete.
