Chapter 97

The man stood still for a few minutes, staring at Nicholas, watching the prince.

He did not move, rather he seemed frozen in place, unmoving.

"Regan, attack me." Nicholas ordered his Minister of Defense, the mage was shocked by the prince's words.

"Your highness, what?" Regan asked, thinking he had misheard the prince.

"I said attack me with Bellator magic!" Nicholas shouted.

Regan hesitated as he gave the prince a worried look. He was unsure if he should do as the prince asked or to ignore the prince's crazed request.

"Don't make me command you, Regan!" Nicholas shouted.

Regan hesitantly raised his sword and slashed it in the air, sending a powerful wave of Bellator magic towards Nicholas.

The prisoner's head suddenly snapped up as if he was woken by something. He then ran towards Nicholas' direction and placed himself between Nicholas just as Regan's attack made contact with his body.
