Chapter 107

"Again!" Nicholas commanded as the Corporali Mages before him repeated the exercise.

It had been a week since he had taught them the new technique they had discovered. To his surprise many of the mages took a few days to successfully do the new technique.

"Is there something unique about our bloodline?" Nicholas asked as he sensed his grandfather approach him.

"How did you know it was me?" Lord Edmond asked his grandson.

He wasn't questioning the young man though, he was more than happy to see the young man showing more and more signs of his power.

"You know that I'm different, grandfather." Nicholas chuckled.

"You are indeed." Lord Edmond said with a nod as he continued to stand by his grandson's side.

They watched as Nicholas commanded the most powerful Corporali mages to repeat the exercise. Breaking, blocking, and healing, a cycle that would be enough to drive another person mad.

"Switch." Nicholas said as he commanded the mages to change partners.
