1 Author's note and Intro

Hi dear readers,

I am White and now, I am here with a new story, actually my first fanfiction. Presenting...

{DRUMROLLS}

💐✨💐THE VENGEANCE FROM THE PAST💐✨💐

Its a revenge fanfiction of Shylock's son, Elrod, [my OC] on the Venetians who are responsible for his father's current broken state. Not only is this revenge, avenging his father, but also the treatment he received long before he left Venice.

Now, I will clear up somethings on my part...

Q1. How and why did I choose Merchant of Venice?

By 'how', I am studying it in school, you know the real version. By 'why', I sympathize with Shylock. He had a great affinity for money all right, but what Antonio and his companions did to him was truly saddening. That's when I thought, why not have revenge?

Q2. Would you change any aspect of the story?

No, I would like not to change any of Shakespeare's story. Except for the past and future. Like, Shylock's past and how he becomes a depressed man in the end...

Oh, but, I did change somethings for the story,

1. Antonio is gay and is in love with Bassanio.

2. Bassanio and his friends does not stop the torture, till Shylock is driven to madness.

3. Jessica has a fling with Gratiano.

If there is anything else I will be changing, I will tell you in creator's thoughts or will publish it in the story like a notice.

I can't think of any other questions that you may have, so I will stop the Q and A section here. If you have any other questions please comment it.

Oh, and I also want your suggestions in my fanfiction,

1. First of all, I don't know whether I should include romance in this fanfiction since the main theme is revenge. If you don't want it, please comment.

If you do, please comment which sexual orientation he should have- Straight? Gay? Bi? And whether use the romance for revenge? Pls, comment!

2. What should I do with Launcelot? After all, all he did was change masters. And he also does not personally make Shylock drive into madness, though he absolutely hates him.

3. If you guys have any juicy revenge plans, please comment!

Oh, and lastly...

William Shakespeare owns 'Merchant of Venice' and all the characters in it. I own only Elrod and his friends. And the cover picture is also not owned by me. Please comment your responds!

Love,

White
