"Have you Calmed down?" Snow opened her eyes to see Divean back in her room.
A maid was beside him holding a tray of food.
"I need to leave " she muttered getting out of bed.
"No you don't," he said grabbing her hand. She pulled it back and he held on tightly.
"Why do you keep doing this... I need to leave ". She yelled.
Suddenly he grabbed her other arm and pulled her closer to him.
"Listen to me " he gritted his teeth in anger.
"Stop acting like a child and wake up, the world has turned its back on you, everyone hates you and is glad you're dead" he muttered.
Her tears filled her eyes, "Then why... why is it that you are still here for me when the whole world is against me " Snow cried.
Silence filled the room as their eyes didn't sway from each other. She was still so close that he could see the pain in her eyes.
His mother was right, no matter how long it took Snow would never heal from the loss of her child and the betrayal of her love.
"As I said I need a wife and you fit the role perfectly " he answered.
Snow chuckled through her tears looking away.
"Am dead remember " she sniffed.
"Snow Constance is dead, but my wife isn't " he let out.
Snow blinked her tears falling .
Gently he bent down picking her up. She gasped holding onto his neck. Slowly he moved to the bed and placed her down.
Snow didn't move as he pulled the covers to her waist. He gestured to the maid who had seemed to be invincible awhile ago to bring the food to him.
"Leave," he said and she rushed off.
He picked up the fork took some food and moved it to her lips but she moved back.
"My daughter and mother made these for you," he said.
Snow seemed hesitant but then slid forward and opened her mouth. Divean chuckled and went on to feed her until everything was done.
"Full?" he asked after.
She nodded.
"Well then have a good night sleep, you have a long day tomorrow," he said moving away.
"Divean?!" she called to him.
"Mmm, " he looked back.
"Tell them I loved every bite," she said.
He slightly nodded and walked out.
Snow fell back in bed and smiled thinking of the little girl's. A Calm warm feeling filled her up as her eyes closed.
