The obvious course of action was to destroy the crystal that was controlling the shadows. The problem was the shadow warriors and shadows in my way.

That was also counting on the fact that at any point in time, the Tier 8 Shadowmancer did intervene himself.

I wasn't willing to bet that he had to maintain focus on the spell keeping him from joining the fight.

One of the shadow warriors steps forward slowly and I focus my attention on its movements.

It takes another step forward then suddenly full sprints. He reaches me within seconds

Surprised I jump towards the right, dodging its downward slice with the katana.

I feel movement and turn to see the other shadow warrior swinging with the intentions of cutting me in half.

Bringing my blade up, I block its attack, but the force of its swing knocks me back.
