Katherine walked straight out of the building towards the backside, unsure where she was going anymore as her heart ached with sadness at the article she read.
Her speed fastened as her walking turned to running as soon as she saw a forest on the backside of the University.
She kept running.
Even when her legs were aching in pain and screaming for her to stop, she didn't stop. She needed something, something to divert her mind from her raging thoughts that were only hurting her peace the more she was thinking about it.
'Katherine, I know you are hurt, but please calm down. Nothing you can do right now can change what they have written,' Daisy tried to comfort the girl who was gasping for air while running as she wiped the moistness in her eyes.
As she was busy running, her eyes blurred with tears, Katherine stumbled on one of the uprooted branches of a tree, falling face first on the ground in front of her, scratching her palms.
