Accelerator and Sumire stood in the spacious testing room, their eyes fixed on Sana as she prepared for her first round of tests. Sumire had set up various equipment to measure Sana's capabilities, her excitement barely contained. Accelerator, though his expression remained stoic, was equally eager to see the results of his work.
"Alright, Sana," Sumire said, her voice tinged with anticipation. "Let's start with a basic strength test."
Sana nodded, her eyes clear and focused. She stepped up to a large set of weights, each one marked with its mass. She began lifting, starting with 100kg, then moving up to 200kg, and so on. To everyone's astonishment, she handled each increase with ease. By the time she reached 500kg, Sumire's eyes were wide with disbelief.
"This is incredible," Sumire whispered, scribbling down notes. "She's lifting half a ton like it's nothing."
Accelerator watched silently, his mind racing with calculations. Sana's physical strength was extraordinary, but he was more interested in her speed and unique abilities. "Let's move on to the speed test," he said, his voice cutting through the room.
Sumire set up a track, and Sana took her position. When Accelerator gave the signal, she took off like a bullet, her form blurring with motion. She reached a speed of 2 kilometers per second, a feat that left Sumire gaping.
"Insane," Sumire breathed, her pen flying across the notepad. "This level of speed... it's beyond human capabilities."
Sana returned to them, not even out of breath. Accelerator nodded, impressed but not surprised. "Good. Now, let's test your Transcendent Blood Art."
Sumire had arranged for a dog to be brought in for this part of the test. The animal was initially restless, its eyes darting around the room. Sana stepped forward, her eyes meeting the dog's. She spoke softly, her voice calm and commanding.
To everyone's astonishment, the dog's demeanor changed almost instantly. It became docile, its tail wagging as it sat obediently at Sana's feet. "Stand," she commanded, and the dog complied without hesitation.
Sumire watched with fascination, her scientific mind racing with questions. "This is... I've never seen anything like it," she said, her voice tinged with awe.
They continued the tests, moving on to more complex subjects. Accelerator had anticipated that Sana's abilities would extend beyond simple commands, and he was proven right. When they tested her ability on a human subject—Sumire herself—the results were both impressive and terrifying.
Sumire stood before Sana, bracing herself for the experience. "Go ahead," she said, her voice steady.
Sana focused, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Raise your right hand," she instructed.
Sumire's hand lifted immediately, moving with the precision of a puppet on strings. Her eyes were wide, but she didn't resist. "This is... incredible," she managed to say, her voice devoid of its usual energy.
Sana continued issuing commands, and Sumire followed each one without hesitation. It was clear that her will was completely overridden by Sana's power. The potential of this ability was staggering, and Accelerator watched with a mixture of satisfaction and caution. He had already taken measures to protect himself from such influences, ensuring that he could not be controlled in the same way.
When the tests were finally concluded, Sumire was left breathless and slightly dazed. "This... this is beyond anything I've ever witnessed," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You've created a miracle, Accelerator."
He nodded, his expression serious. "It's a major success," he agreed. "Sana is now the Progenitor of the Transcendent race. Her abilities will be a cornerstone for what's to come."
Sumire could hardly contain her enthusiasm. "Thank you for letting me be a part of this," she said, her voice filled with genuine gratitude. "This is a once-in-a-billion phenomenon."
As they prepared to leave, Accelerator gathered Sana and Mina, thanking Sumire for her assistance. They walked out into the evening, the air cool and refreshing. Mina was ecstatic that her sister could see again, her joy evident in her every step.
As they walked home, Accelerator noticed the way Sana and Mina looked at the other children returning from school. There was a longing in their eyes, a desire for a semblance of normalcy. He found it troublesome, but he understood their unspoken wish.
"Do you want to go to school?" he asked abruptly, catching them off guard.
Sana and Mina exchanged hesitant glances. "It might cause you problems," Sana said softly. "If people find out we're Cursed Children..."
Accelerator sneered at the thought. "I couldn't care less about the opinions of others," he said firmly. "Their judgment doesn't benefit me. Besides, there are no signs of you being Cursed Children now. You're going to school."
The girls looked at him with a mixture of surprise and gratitude. Accelerator's decision was final, and they knew better than to argue. He was determined to give them the chance at a normal life, something they had been denied for far too long.
As they walked home, Accelerator's mind raced with plans. He would ensure that Sana and Mina could attend school without any issues. He had already faced down protesters, politicians, and Gastrea, dealing with a few prejudiced teachers and students would be a trivial matter in comparison.
After returning Sana and Mina to his apartment, ensuring they were settled and safe, Accelerator set out once more for the Outer District. His mission to create a sanctuary for the Cursed Children was far from over, and he had much work to do. However, as he approached the boundary, a troubling sight greeted him.
Hundreds of SWAT officers were waiting, their weapons aimed directly at him. It was clear what they wanted—to stop him and dismantle his efforts. Accelerator clicked his tongue in annoyance. He had no time for this nonsense.
The reason why the SWAT team hadn't yet stormed the Outer District was simple, Accelerator had installed a sophisticated defense mechanism within the wall. The system was designed to detect whether a person carried the Gastrea virus in their blood. If they didn't, they would be electrocuted to the point of losing their ability to reproduce. It was a brutal deterrent that had already claimed several would-be invaders, much to Accelerator's grim satisfaction.
Now, the SWAT team stood ready, their weapons loaded with Vanadium bullets—a futile attempt to gain the upper hand. To Accelerator, they looked like a group of fools, completely unaware of who they were dealing with.
One of the officers stepped forward, his voice amplified through a megaphone. "Accelerator, surrender now! Lay down your arms and come quietly, or we will be forced to open fire!"
Others joined in, cheering and taunting, convinced that they had him cornered. They believed no human could survive a siege of this magnitude, especially not against such overwhelming firepower.
Accelerator's expression turned icy cold. He regarded them with a mix of disdain and amusement. "Heh, are you prepared to die?" he asked, his voice carrying a chilling edge. "Since you're so eager to kill, you must be ready to face death yourselves."
His words were met with confusion and anger. The officers shifted uneasily, but their commander barked another order. "Take him down!"
Accelerator's face twisted into a mocking grin. "Fools," he said, loud enough for them all to hear. "You have no idea what you're up against."
The SWAT team bristled at his arrogance. "Fire!" the commander shouted, and the air was filled with the deafening roar of gunfire.
Accelerator didn't move. He didn't need to. The bullets stopped mid-air, suspended by an invisible force. The officers stared in horror as the projectiles hovered, seemingly harmless, before accelerating back toward them with twice the speed.
Screams filled the air as the bullets tore through the ranks of the SWAT team, leaving devastation in their wake. The scene was a nightmarish tableau of chaos and carnage. Bodies fell, some immediately lifeless, others writhing in pain. Blood stained the ground, and the once-confident officers now lay scattered like broken dolls.
Accelerator's grin widened as he watched the carnage. "You wanted a fight? Kihihahah,.. here it is," he said, his voice dripping with dark satisfaction.
He began walking forward, stepping over the fallen bodies without a second glance. The few officers still conscious scrambled to get out of his way, their terror palpable. No one dared to raise a weapon against him again.
The sight of a single man effortlessly defeating hundreds of soldiers was beyond comprehension. To those who witnessed it, it was like a scene from a horror movie, a nightmare come to life. But to Accelerator, it was just another task, another obstacle to be removed.
As he reached the entrance to the Outer District, he cast one last glance at the devastated SWAT team. "Next time, send someone who's worth my time," he said, his voice cold and dismissive.
With that, he entered the Outer District, leaving behind a scene of utter destruction. The path was clear, and no one was left to stop him. His mission to build a sanctuary for the Cursed Children continued, undeterred by the futile efforts of those who sought to oppose him.
Inside the Outer District, the children waited, their eyes filled with hope and trust. They had heard the commotion, but they knew that as long as Accelerator was with them, they were safe. He had proven time and again that he would protect them, no matter the cost.
Accelerator resumed his work, the interruption by the SWAT team already a distant memory. He focused on the task at hand, using his powers to lift and place materials with ease. The wall was almost complete, and the sanctuary was taking shape.
As he worked, his thoughts drifted back to the confrontation. The authorities would likely try again, but he was ready. He had faced worse in his life and come out on top. No amount of opposition would deter him from his goal.
The children gathered around him, offering to help in any way they could. Their determination and resilience were inspiring, and Accelerator felt a rare flicker of warmth. He was doing this for them, for their future.
As the sun set, casting a warm glow over the construction site, Accelerator paused to survey their progress. The sanctuary was becoming a reality, a place where the Cursed Children could live without fear. It was a beacon of hope in a world filled with darkness.

The next day, Accelerator brought Sana and Mina to the Outer District, now transformed into a burgeoning village. As they approached, the two girls widened their eyes in awe. The scenery had changed drastically since they last saw it. The desolate wasteland was now a vibrant, thriving community.
Accelerator had somehow managed to make trees grow faster, creating lush greenery where there had once been barren land. The presence of trees added a sense of tranquility and beauty to the area. Wind turbines dotted the landscape, providing the village with a steady supply of energy. Light and electricity were no longer a luxury but a standard part of their lives.
The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Sana and Mina could hardly believe their eyes. The change was immense, and it spoke volumes about Accelerator's dedication and capabilities. What had once been a place of despair was now filled with hope and life.
As they walked into the village, their arrival caused an immediate commotion. The children, who had come to view Accelerator as their big brother, rushed towards him. They tackled him to the ground, shouting "Welcome back!" with infectious enthusiasm. Some tried to tell him their stories, others handed him small gifts they had made, but all of them adored him.
Sana watched the scene with a smile, her heart warmed by the children's affection for Accelerator. Mina, on the other hand, felt a pang of jealousy. Not wanting to be left out, she jumped into the fray, joining in the fun. The other children noticed her and Sana, calling them over to play. Despite her maturity, Sana was still a child at heart, and she joined them instantly, her laughter mingling with theirs.
Accelerator stood up, dusting himself off with a smirk. The sight of the children playing, laughing, and living without fear was the best reward for his efforts. Every child in the village had been given a task, ensuring that everyone shared equal responsibilities. Their harsh past had made them mature beyond their years, making it easy to teach them. The number of children had grown to thousands, but Accelerator made it a point to memorize each of their names, even naming those who had been abandoned as infants.
One of Accelerator's most significant achievements was the construction of a large playground. It was vast, filled with various games and activities. There were no fights over equipment because there was plenty to go around. From mind games to physical activities, Accelerator had thought of everything. He even set up schedules to ensure a balanced routine for the children.
Today's visit had a specific purpose. Accelerator wanted to introduce Sana to the community, preparing them for her future leadership. He intended for Sana to lead this place, and he would not interfere in her path. He wanted her to take the crown using her own methods, to grow into a leader who could stand on her own.
The children gathered around as Accelerator introduced Sana. "Everyone, this is Sana," he said, his voice carrying over the excited chatter. "She's going to be leading this place in the future. Treat her with the same respect you give me."
The children cheered, their acceptance of Sana immediate and wholehearted. Sana looked at Accelerator, a mixture of determination and gratitude in her eyes. She understood the weight of the responsibility he was placing on her shoulders, but she was ready to rise to the challenge.
Mina watched with pride, knowing that her sister would do great things. The sense of community and belonging was palpable, and it filled Accelerator with a rare sense of satisfaction. His work was paying off, and the future looked brighter than ever for these children.
As the day drew to a close, Accelerator felt a deep sense of fulfillment. The introduction had gone well, and the children were already looking up to Sana. His mission was progressing smoothly, and the foundation for a self-sustaining community was solidifying.
