Avanthi

There is a kingdom named Avanti. It is a very prosperous kingdom that is situated on the banks of the pure Godavari. People in Avanti enjoy a great amount of wealth .

It is ruled by a great king Lakshmanadeva. He is a very liberal king who abides by rules and takes good care of the kingdom. His subjects trust him a lot. He is well versed in history, geography, literature, martial arts, and management. There are 30 ministers in his court among which Panchaprajna*, namely  Bharatadeva, krishnendra, Ajithadeva, Dritavarma, Chitraksha who were the most trusted ministers by his side. They all grew up together and were friends since their childhood. The king has four fierce guards of who are two female (Aparanjitha and Nanditha) and two male guards(Danurdara and Sudarsana) and three male servents(Udayvarma, Paasi, and Pradama) always accompanying him.

The king had two Queens, Candrāmani and Ratnāvali who were widely praised for their beauty, overall well-trained skills, and kindness.

Queen Candramani was the sister of Raja Abhaya, king of Kunta. She is very graceful, elegant, simple, and pure. She is well versed in literature and is highly intelligent. She helps the king to take good care of his subjects and solve the problems of the citizens of Avanti. She has 2 female guards (Shambavathi and Druti) and 2 maids(Shakuntala and Maitri) accompanying her.

Queen Ratnavali is the sister of Chitraksha. She is a woman with a strong personality, she is often mistaken as a rude person but is actually not. She is a role model to all the women in the kingdom as she was very brave and broke many strict female rules which discriminated against women. She is the most skilled martial artist in the kingdom. She is accompanied by 2 maids(Anandhi and Chitra) who are also skilled martial artists. She often helps the king to expand his kingdom. Her only regret is she did not have children of her own.

Queen Candrāmani has two sons. The first son is Devendra who is a coward to be the heir and take care of the kingdom. To escape from the duties of the next king, he renounced the world and became a monk.

Her second son Veeraraja who is only eight years old but he is completely opposite to his brother. He has a brave personality, loves adventures, accompanies the king during work to learn how to manage the kingdom, learned literature, history, and geography from his mother, and martial arts from Queen Ratnavali  He is a quick learner and also a very cunning person unlike the citizens of Avanti.  He is the most beloved prince of the kingdom. He has been gifted a golden bracelet with a very unique design.

 The Royal family was praised across the world for their respect towards their subjects and fair treatment of the citizens of Avanti.

*Panchaprajna means 'THE FIVE INTELLECTUALS'
