Chapter 1.

"What is your major?" He asks while gesturing towards his extended hands.

"Major.... History." He told him as he shake his head to the candy.

"That is quite lame, bro," The other guy told him, "Not the major, the candy."

He clarified."Cole." History major introduced himself and take the candy from his hands.

"Dravin Nothling"

"Wow that's quite handful." Cole commented as he push the candy down his pocket.

"Yeah. My father was American and my mother is Australian." He told him as they both walked down the empty stadium.

"Right." He kicked the football.

"How come I never saw you around?" Darvon asks Cole as he steal the ball from under his foot and kick it further.

The stadium light blinded Cole for a moment as he push the ball further and the answer to that question even more."Well you see, I am... a transfer student." He told him the only lie he has been telling for ages. He knew he should have at least come up with more of a creative lie with all the time he got, but this lie always seems to push its way out of his throat.

"Wow! From where?"

That's a first, Cole thought, usually people will get all awkward and leave him alone, he knew accepting that candy was some sort of engagement ceremony on this place."Ummm! From Montana!" he replied remembering the stupid joke of Hannah Montana in that moment.

"What a coincidence!" Cole's ears perked up. "We have a cowboy here as well, you should meet him." Cole tried to smile, he didn't know anything about horses for the life of him.

All he wanted was some inspiration for his new blog post, he was by no means thinking of ever going to any educational institution but here he was totally unnumbered by this guy's quick brain.

"Hey you two." A sharp voice with an even sharper whistle call him out of this situation."What are you doing here at 2 in the morning?" A man in his thirties ask them.

"Hello sir!" Dravin greeted the man and Cole just was a second away from running in the dark.

"Dravin what are you doing here?"

"Sir, I was giving Cole the tour DE college"

Cole cursed under his breathe and thought for some lie out of this situation.

"Cole, the transfer student." The man asked Cole directly.Begging his mind to run, Cole did what he is absolutely good at, "Yes."

"Cole Adams."

"Yes sir." The lie come too easily for him. He knew he should have ran away when he had time but now there is no way out of this, with his carry on on his back he followed the teacher towards the dorm.

"Had I known, college is like this, I would have come here a hundred years ago." Everyone around him laugh at his joke and he laughed at them.

It has been a week since Dravin become his friend and for the past one week, he has been living on someone else's name, Cole Adams, the real transfer student, he still hasn't turned up and at time the thought of betraying his friends with the web of lies he was weaving makes him nauseas but he soon realize he doesn't eat so he can't throw up.

"So who will tell the three important things that happened during world war?" his history teacher aka the man he met on that night, asked the class.

Another thing that made Cole want to throw up was history. Apparently that Adams guy was a big history guru, what he fail to understand was how can someone even like History, why would you willingly want to learn about what has already happened.

For the love of God, he couldn't even remember what he had for breakfast a day ago.

Cole shifted uncomfortably as he saw Dravin with a piece of garlic bread, "You know I am allergic to those."

"What, bread?" Dravin asks.

"No, the garlic." He told him still embarrassed.

"Sorry. Do you want me to exchange it in melon one?" Dravin was halfway from standing when Cole catch his arm and gestured him to sit.

"I ate in the morning, thanks for asking." Cole told him.

It was seven and the faint sunlight was falling on his laptop as he type his new post. He started this as a project to irritate the rule makers but now it was the only way to keep him sane. The one whose sanity, Time Jump, was holding was just his and nobody else.

"And publish" clicking on the button he looked outside, taking a few minutes for his eyes to adjust the darkness, he felt the need to be free, to be free from the curse that have enveloped his entire life.

He take a deep breathe and walked towards the fridge grabbing his favorite Coconut water and gulping the contents down, he checked the group chat,"This is going to be a long night."
