Jules has o problems. Ever since she woke up in the forest on her Prom night, she has sleepwalked and woken up in the middle of the same forest with a knife in her hand and no recollection of what occurred the night before. Her second problem is the intense desire she has for Rowan Cross. Rowan Cross has o problems. His Halo Master, Tristan wants him to investigate the disappearance of supernatural students who have gone missing on their college campus, and he wants Jules with every fiber of his being. Chapter 12: Discoveries

Rowan

“This better be good, Tristan. I have something important to do.”

Tristan crooks a brow at my irritated tone. “I’m sorry for interrupting you, your highness, but I thought you might be interested in what we discovered.”

Rubbing my bare neck, I take a deep breath and face my brother. Is it weird that it’s natural to consider him my brother now? “Okay, fine. Tell me what you found.”

Tristan gestures for me to follow him through the Halo’s basement. “Okay, so two things.” He says as soon as we step into a sterilized medical examination lab. The creature I found the other night is lying on an empty gurney wrapped in a blanket. Tristan stands next to the body and points to the arm and head. “Frankenstein here is, in fact, an actual Frankenstein. His right arm is the arm of Leshy, the left one of a werecat, and his face is part of a Djinni and a human. The same works for its organs.”
