Lucian stared at the masked figure before him with visible surprise.
That being had called him a 'leech.'
Wasn't that one of the most commonly known nicknames for vampires?
How do they know?
Are they also a vampire?
But then why would they call Lucian a leech if they were also a part of the same race?
Countless thoughts and questions raced through Lucian's head as he tried to come to a conclusion regarding the masked being.
They were most likely a third party who knew about vampires and had some method of telling them apart.
Lucian had to figure out what this was and develop countermeasures in the future.
But for now…
The main priority was making it out alive with Stella in hand.
He could feel every cell in his body shaking in the being's presence, warning him to run away as fast as he could.
This wasn't an enemy he could fight with his current strength.
