Chapter 40 - World History

The Ancient dragon teleported everyone out of the dungeon except Ray and Rose.

Then he started telling some shocking information and revealing world's history and secrets to Ray and Rose.

"I am one of the Ancient Dragon who was at the Rank 11 in the past.

We Ancient Dragon and Ancient spirits were the rulers of the world.

We had complete control over one of the elements means we had 100% element Comprehension since the birth and once we became Adults we already got 100% law Comprehension related to that element.

We Ancient dragons and spirit were created by World's Will itself, but we never learned the reason of our existence until the end of our lives.

There were a total of 11 Ancient Dragons and Ancient spirits.

We had control over one of the elements among Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Tree, Blood, Dark, Lightning, Space and Time.

There were no dragons and spirits who had control over Annihilation Element.

That element was considered to destroy the balance of power in nature that's why.

The Strongest Ancient dragon and Spirit were those who had Space and Time Element.

However, the rankings changed after hundreds of years.

The strongest dragon and Spirit became those who had control over Dark element.

Their Dark element became something else entirely surpassing even The Dragons and Spirits having supreme elements like Space, Time and Lightning.

Those Dragon and Spirit who had control over Dark element.

They became strong enough to maybe even rival Annihilation element.

Then all other races were born in this world like Humans, Devils, Demi-Humans, Vampires, Elves and Dragon men's race which can turn into human form as well.

Anyway, All races were different and had different thoughts.

At first they all considered themselves as the strongest.

They then created their Kingdoms.

We Dragons and Spirits considered them as mere bugs, so we never interfere in their matters unless these races invaded our resting places.

However, during their wars they caused lots of destruction so we Ancient dragons and spirits had to interfere.

Then wars stopped and we Ancient Dragons became bored just watching these kingdoms grow, so we decided to simply select some good and strong people from other races.

Make them our disciple and train them.

So we all Ancient dragons selected disciple, but Dark Element Dragon never selected any disciple.

We trained all disciples and taught them everything and also helped our disciples become Rank 11 powerhouses.

Our disciples were strong, but they were never able to surpass us.

As for Ancient spirits, they were different.

They created smaller spirits.

Smaller spirits only had 1-5 % of their original Power.

Then they decided to have these spirit form contracts with Elves.

Since they were the most peace loving race.

Again Dark Ancient Spirit never created any smaller dark spirits.

All Ancient spirits used to live in Forest of Elves, Near The Great Tree of Spirits.

That tree was actually the representation of World Will itself.

Everything was peaceful for few years however then our world got connected to another world.

That world was the Wilderness which you people now call.

That world had lot of Monsters Race creatures and their Race task was basically to Devour other Worlds.

Rulers of that wilderness were Night Walkers.

But the two scariest thing about Night walkers was -->

First, They comprehended an entirely New Element and Law was called the "Devour".

We had no knowledge related to that Law.

Second, They had the ability to cultivate even beyond Rank 11.

We considered Rank 11 as highest and called it as God rank, However among Night walkers there were some who had strength far surpassing Rank 11.

Finally, Dark Elemental Ancient Dragon and Spirit woke up from their Deep Slumber.

Through Dark Spirit and Dark Element dragon we learned that after reaching Rank 11 our system actually updates.

We also learned there is a Rank 12 which is called Lower God Rank,

Then there is Middle God Rank (Rank 13),

Higher God Rank (Rank 14) and finally

TRUE GOD Rank (Rank 15).

When Night walkers attacked us.

We Ancient Dragons and Ancient Spirits fought them.

We defeated most of their armies and killed almost all enemies from Rank 1 to Rank 10.

Dark Dragon And Dark Spirit completely destroyed the group of Rank 11 enemies easily.

Their strength shocked even us.

They were so strong that they could defeat the enemies as bugs.

However, situation changed when a Rank 12 enemy appeared.

He was a Lower God Rank.

He had "Devour" Law.

Almost all of the Attacks were useless against him.

He was extremely strong that even Dark Elemental Dragon and Dark Spirit had a harder time dealing with him.

He was able to kill all the Ancient spirits easily except Dark Spirit and even devoured their souls, so he stopped them from Resurrecting.

This terrified all of us because we thought we would simply resurrect after war even if we die.

Then he killed Space Dragon, Lightning Dragon, Tree Dragon, Blood Dragon and Light Dragon.

He devoured their souls as well.

Then All Dragon's having Supreme Element laws were killed except Time Law Dragon.

But they got their souls only half devoured because they were saved by Dark Dragon and Dark Spirit.

Then Dark dragon and Dark Spirit somehow were able to damage or even kill Rank 12 enemy.

We other dragons and spirits doesn't know the reason how they could do it.

Anyway still they could not completely finish the enemy so in the end Dark Dragon sacrificed his life to trap the enemy.

So the result of war was that enemies were almost destroyed.

All the Ancient spirits died in the war except Dark Spirit.

Most of the Ancient Dragons died.

Only Dragons having Fire, Water, Wind, Earth and Time were left alive, but even they were injured.

Time Ancient dragon decided to use forbidden spell using which he could see the future infinitely.

In the future for thousands of years he only saw the world going towards the direction of destruction.

However, everything changed the movement "Vampire Goddess" Rose decided to use Vampire Blood Ritual to give Birth.

So your birth, That is Ray the moment you were born was the exact moment everything changed and world stopped going towards the path of destruction.

After using this forbidden spell, Time dragon soul was damaged to irreplaceable degree, so he told everyone about the future and died and because of injured soul he was not able to be resurrected.

After this Dark Ancient Spirit returned to Elves forest and simply went to live inside the Great Tree of Spirits.

Then we also suffered because of our disciples. As soon as our disciples learned that most of stronger Ancient dragons died.

They grouped up and attacked us remaining dragons because of their greed.

They wanted to Rule the world and not be under us Ancient dragons.

They ganged up and killed us and Because of our injured souls, we were not able to resurrect.

Before dying, I contacted Dark Spirit and asked him to kill all our disciples because those bastards betrayed us.

And I also created this Dungeon as my inheritance and So that in the future when Son of Vampire Goddess comes he could learn about World's history and also Save the World from going towards the path of destruction.

Also, Dark Dragon actually left many secrets and legacy for you.

Apparently he already knew about your arrival through the Time Spirit.

I am sending you the location of Dark Dragon inheritance directly in your brain.

However, right now you are too weak.

You should reach at least Peak Rank 8 before going to that location.

The inheritance will not be free for you.

You will have to clear the challenges and become worthy to gain inheritance.

After that you will have to visit Great Tress of spirits and talk with Dark Ancient Spirit.

She is the only Ancient being still alive from our Era.

And you will have to meet her to learn more about Dark Element's True Power." Explained Ancient Fire Dragon.

After saying this his soul started breaking into pieces, and he teleported us out of dungeon.

The dungeon also collapsed once all of us were out.
