Chapter 24 - Improved spells and Rank 5 Magic Spells

Author Note = I already announced yesterday in Volume 1 epilogue but I am mentioning here again just in case someone didn't read that chapter

My exams are starting so that's why I will not be able to upload daily. My exams will finish on 10 September so wait till then for daily uploads.

{MC POV}

I have managed to improve all my old Rank 1 and Rank 2 spells and make them stronger. My sister also Reached Rank 9.

Since I reached 80% Comprehension with basic elements.

I condensed my orange flames and raised their explosive power and their temperature.

My flames also changed their color. They are now blue so i call them 'Blue Flame'.

I also condensed water to form Ice.

I also condensed my winds. Making them faster, stronger and more chaotic.

I also condensed earth element to create stone.

Also, I got to know one thing from my sister than when we modify a spell and create a new one with its base. The old spell get deleted from our system.

[Ding... 'Flame Missile Rank 1 spell' deleted from the system]

[New... 'Blue Flame Missile Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

For Blue Flame Missile spell, I simply used my new Blue flame and I also increased the speed of projectiles.

[Ding... 'Flame Blast Rank 2 spell' deleted from the system]

[New... 'Inferno Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

For Inferno spell, I used new blue flames instead of old orange flames. Also, I converted this spell from projectile to an Area attack spell.

[Ding... 'Water Bubble Rank 1 spell' deleted from the system]

[New... 'Ice Shield Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

For ice shield spell, I simply condensed water element.

[Ding... 'Gale Steps Rank 2 spell' deleted from the system]

[New... 'Gale/Wind Shoes Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

for Wind shoes spell, I simply made wind stronger, denser and more chaotic.

[Ding... 'Twister Rank 2 spell' deleted from the system]

[New... 'Hailstorm Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

For Hailstorm spell, I simply added ice element to

my spell. I created Icy winds and also added sharp ice shards capable of slicing and heavily injure enemies.

[Ding... 'Wind Fenrir Rank 2 spell' deleted from the system]

[New...' Wind Fenrir Lord Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

for this spell. I took inspiration from lightning wolves. I increased my wind fenrir speed by large amounts. Not only that, but I also made his attacks stronger by making winds denser and chaotic. Furthermore, I also created an Ice horn in the middle of wolf's head.

[Ding... 'Earth Spike Rank 1 spell' deleted from the system]

[New... 'Stone Restraints Rank 4 spell' created and learned ]

For this spell, I simply condensed earth to form stone then I changed the earth spikes into stone hands.

{Time Skip - 1 year}

In last 1 year, I spammed all my newly created spells and mastered them to 100%.

I also became Rank 5 mage.

I manage to comprehend Blood element to 50%, It was quite hard.

But problems started coming from here. Till now I was thinking Cultivation and Comprehension is easy. But now I realized how wrong I was.

Well, First my ["Meteor Splitting Sword style"] and ["Divine Body skill"] stuck at 50% mastery. No matter how many times I perform the skill or No matter how many times I study their books, their mastery never increased.

Then my physical attributes stopped increasing once I become Rank 5 knight. They do increase but are very slow, barely noticeable.

When I tried to comprehend lightning element, I understood nothing. Since No one in my family had lightning element so I could not get help from anyone.

For Space and Time element, at first I understood nothing but because these two are my mother's main elements.

She started teaching me every day, even then it's hard. I managed to raise my mastery by only 2%.

Basic Elements are at least 100 times easier to comprehend. So yeah now I am having difficulties in Cultivation and so my cultivation speed slowed down a lot.

Now today I have decided to learn some Rank 5 element spells and Since I became a Rank 5 Mage.

I went to the library and started searching for good spells. I found one spell which was quite useful for surprise attacks.

[ Blink (Rank 5 Space Element spell) =

It allows the user to use the power of space to appear in a nearby location in which the user has vision of.

Cost = 2000 mana per use ]

I then started searching some destructive spells. But I didn't find any good Rank 5 spell which I wanted to learn. Then my mom said that there are some Spells which are basically Evolution type spells. Means they are lower rank spells, but they can upgrade by comprehending elements and becoming higher tier mage.

Since the strongest spells of basic elements are Rank 6 and I am already Rank 5 mage so I decided to stop focusing on Basic element spells. Because in a fight among Rank 7 mages, these spell will become useless. Their Rank 7 defense spell will be able to stop all of our Rank 6 spells. So I decided to learn only 1 such spell and then focus on supreme element spells.

So I directly asked my mom to give me the strongest Evolution Type spell of basic elements.

[Hell's Fist (Rank 5 Fire Element/ Evolution Type spell) =

Covers the user fists with explosive fire elements having destructive power capable of completing crushing your enemies.

At Rank 5 = Power of fists is capable to completely destroy a rank 5 enemy

(Condition for next upgrade = Fire Element Comprehension 100%)

At Rank 6 = Power of fists is capable to completely destroy a rank 6 enemy

Cost = 5000 mana for Rank 5 ]

I then started focusing on supreme elements since they are the one's which will help me from Rank 7.

I selected 2 Evolution type spells.

[ Time Zone (Rank 5 Time Element/Evolution Type spell) =

it allows the user to create a zone around himself where he can slow down the time for few seconds.

At Rank 5 = can slow down time for 5 seconds

(Conditions for next upgrade is 25 % Time element Comprehension)

At Rank 6 = can slow down time for 7 seconds

(Conditions for next upgrade is 50% Time element Comprehension)

At Rank 7 = can slow down time for 10 seconds

(Conditions for next upgrade is 75% Time element Comprehension)

At Rank 8 = can slow down time for 15 seconds

{Mana consumption will increase in each Rank}

Cost = 4000 mana for Rank 5 ]

[ Lightning Incarnate (Rank 5 Lightning Element/ Evolution Type spell) =

This skill cover the user body with elemental lightning, increasing speed, defense and attack penetration power by large amounts

For Rank 5 = Covers user hands with Lightning element giving him penetrating power capable of breaking the defense of Rank 6 enemies

(Condition for next upgrade = Lightning element Comprehension 25 %)

For Rank 6 = Covers both hands and feet with lightning element. Increasing the speed of the user by 100 points and penetration power capable of breaking the defense of Rank 7 enemy

(Condition for next upgrade = Lightning element Comprehension 50 %)

For Rank 7 = Covers hands, chest and feet with lightning element. Increases speed by 100 points, penetration power of Rank 8 and Creates Armor around chest to protect the user.

(Conditions for next upgrade = Lightning Element Comprehension 80 %)

For Rank 8 = Covers entire body of user with lightning element. Creates high defense armor covering all parts of the body, increases speed by 200 points, penetration power of Rank 9

Cost = 8000 mana for Rank 5 ]
