"You are a Queen I couldn't have, Thalia."
"You are a Queen I couldn't have, Thalia."
"A Queen!"
"A Queen!"
Jack's voice plays in my head repeatedly and I can't get rid of his last words.
"Walk faster! Someone is waiting for you aside from Thallujah and Thomas."
Suddenly, I move my head and realizes that he's still with me. Standing like a statue who doesn't move nor speak.
"But who? I... I am not expecting someone who will be my guest!" I clamour while walking as fast as I could.
I follow his lead and steps but, I can't deny the fact that Jack becomes a real King who deserves respect and adore from his people.
His selfish decisions turn into a wholesome one when I came back to his palace.
However, no one knows the truth.
I am not Thalia Hackansen who was once his ex-lover.
I am not Thalia who is a vampire that needs blood to survive and to remain immortal and young.
Among all, I am a Princess who transmigrated to a vampire's body. To a young woman who was in the brisk of death because of the werewolves.
For the nth time, I forget about my guardians, my twin sister, Jack and the snow falling into us.
Under the calm sky, thousands of decent crystals showers into the wide and massive Kingdom of the Vampire King.
It looks perfect as the trees are being wrapped by the snow.
"We are near, Thalia. As soon as we get into the palace, go straight to your room and change your clothes."
"Why do I need to change? My clothes look good and decent!" I reply.
For a moment, Jack stops that made me surprised.
Little did I know, I am smelling his broad back while my face rests on it.
I gulp and quickly stands still. "I... It is not my intention to smell your robe, your highness!"
Bowing my head means respect and apology.
Even though I loath him, I need to honour and praise the man of all Vampires.
Until someone comes closer and said, "Your highness, your f–"
"Tell him that we're on our way to his room!"
Upon looking at him, he seems like one of the palace's guards.
He is carrying a sword and wearing gauntlets.
Without asking another question, he guards abruptly walk back inside.
Jack touches my arm and whispers, "Go to your room, now! Change your clothes before I will do it on your behalf."
He winked on me promptly.
"Yes, Your highness!"
I bow my head as I hurriedly walk to my room.
As the royal servants guide me onto my compartment, one of them said. "Please be careful all the time. Many of us saw the werewolf Prince sauntering around the palace!"
"She's right, your honour! But, the royal guards who saw the Prince tells me that he looks like a God! He's handsome and a tall man with long hair."
Both of them giggles while telling me about the werewolf Prince. I can't deny the fact that I haven't it since the day I found myself in the middle of the woods.
I smiles genuinely and said, "It seems like you adore our enemy!"
"Yes, your honour! I... I can't hide my feelings towards him and I will never waste the chance to touch, hold and throw myself to his warm and tender arms! I want to be his beloved Queen, someday!"
One of the maidservants rolls her eyes upon hearing her. She looks like an angry tiger who's ready to attack its prey.
"Keep dreaming while you are still breathing, Kora! The werewolf prince is after the vampire who he met in the forest!"
My heart flutters and I abruptly look into her way. A vampire in the forest? It... it must be me or... or I am assuming things that are impossible to happen.
"Pa–pardon?"
Kora and Morre look at me with a question on their heads. Morre said, "You looks pale and nervous!"
They are both waiting for my response but, I don't know what how to escape from their judgemental eyes. "Nothing!"
Abruptly, I stand infirm and continues to walk. I thought they will stop talking about the Prince but, Kora whispers. "A good looking Prince who possessed a pair of emerald eyes is searching for the rightful woman that will be his wife. He's into you, Thalia."
Kora looks true to her words until they both burst into laughter.
Morre bow her head and quickly murmurs, "Forgive us! But, we have strong speculation that the werewolf Prince is after one of the vampires!"
To stop the nonsense conversation, I reply. "I am not interested in him. What matters most is my mother who wants to see me."
"Yes–yes!"
But, I can't get rid of the thought of the werewolf Prince. His name makes my heart beats too fast. His eyes seem familiar, but, I need to catch a sight of him.
I need to defeat the werewolf Prince to seek the revenge that I'm conspiring to obtain.
"Your honour, we are here!"
"It's my pleasure to meet you two. Hence, I want you to keep about the werewolf Prince. Do you understand?" I want to catch their gaze but, they are both evasive.
Kora abruptly said, "But, we see each other every single day!"
I close my eyes upon hearing it from her. I shortly look at the torches and reply, "I... I barely forget about it. However, I need to go now."
"Summon us if you need something else, your honour!" Morre tells me while looking at the floor.
The hallway seems quiet but, the royal guards are occupied decorating the entire palace with balls wrapped in a gleam.
I turn my back and pushes the door slowly.
Until a mindblowing and elegant dress surprises me upon looking into the living room.
"An elegant dress," I ask myself as I touch it gently. Making sure not to put dirt on it. "What is going on? Why do I need to wear this in seeing my mother?"
I whisper while staring at the beautiful bright moon.
