Blood Moon Spear Dance

The entire town was illuminated by the fires raging throughout the town.

Smoke was rising heavily, partially blocking out the night sky.

In the distance, screams and the sounds of battle could be heard as fighting raged on in the heart of town.

After taking in the shocking sight, Li Huafu looked down towards the courtyard.

No signs of human life could be seen as corpses of cultivators and mortals alike lay motionlessly on the ground.

The only living beings he saw were Xue Yang and strange demonic beasts with the same red eyes as him.

Empowering his voice with qi, he asks Xue Yang a question through his gritted teeth.

"Is this your doing?"

Dusting himself off, Xue Yang simply nods with a cheeky smile.

"Yup."

Li Huafu became even more enraged but somehow controlled his anger and didn't fly into a blind rage.

"Are you from the demonic cult? Or perhaps more likely the evil faction?"

With a disappointed expression, Xue Yang shakes his head.

"Not at all."

Li Huafu frowns even further.

"Then who are you?"

He jumps from the building.

"And why did you do this to my town? Answer my questions, and I'll promise you a quick and relatively painless death."

"I already told you who I am." He scoffed.

"And as to why…"

Blood swirled in the palm of his hand as the Crimson Eclipse formed.

Xue Yang appeared before the city lord, their swords clashing as sparks flew, lighting up their faces.

"...you tried touching someone you shouldn't."

"Such a person doesn't exist in my town."

Xue Yang chuckled.

"You're technically correct, seeing how your town won't exist after tonight."

Li Huafu pushed Xue Yang back, but he recovered instantly and dashed back in, forcing Li Huafu on the defensive.

He skilfully blocked and deflected Xue Yang's attacks.

With this, he was trying to ascertain Xue Yang's skills and figure out his association.

His attacks were wild and unrefined, as if he had never learned any kind of swordsmanship.

Not feeling threatened by Xue Yang's swordsmanship, he decided to continue their chat."

"Is this your first time wielding a sword?"

Impressed, Xue Yang raised his eyebrows.

"Wow, you can tell?"

"I don't know who is behind you for you to have such confidence. But with those skills, you will never beat me."

"Only one way to find out."

Xue Yang's attacks became heavier and more powerful.

With each strike, it became harder for Li Huafu to block.

His enormous belly jiggled beneath his robes with every clash of their swords.

'Is he trying to overpower me with pure strength?'

As he blocked the next strike, Li Huafu attempted to unleash a palm technique with his free hand.

Xue Yang twisted his body, avoiding the strike and spinning around, sweeping Li Huafu's leg and sending him tumbling.

Xue Yang tried to use the momentum to his advantage and struck downward with his sword, but Li Huafu rolled away.

"AHHHH!" Screaming in rage, he stood back up.

"You can forget about a painless death after the shame you put me through. I will enjoy taking my time tearing you apart."

The act of rolling around on the ground was seen as shameful by martial artists, so Xue Yang forcing him to avoid his attack by rolling enraged him more than anything else.

He attacked Xue Yang relentlessly.

No longer was he trying to test him.

Each strike became faster and more precise.

He was so quick that with each swing, he attacked multiple times.

More and more cuts started to appear on Xue Yang's body.

Thanks to his physique and tough body, the cuts weren't deep, but blinded by his fury, Li Huafu couldn't tell.

Finally, he put a lot of force into an attack, sending Xue Yang tumbling backwards.

Xue Yang landed on his back with a blank expression.

{I can't believe my new master is such a pathetic weakling.}

The Crimson Eclipse taunted Xue Yang, and to its surprise, the taunt worked.

'Pathetic weakling? I guess I should get serious then.'

Xue Yang stood up and decided to use another technique.

[Blood Moon Manifestation]

He lifted his arms slowly, and as he did, blood started rising from the ground and the various corpses in his surroundings.

As the blood drained from the bodies, Li Huafu's eyes grew wide.

It all flew a few meters above Xue Yang, forming a large, dense ball of blood roughly a meter in diameter.

"What kind of sorcery is this?" Li Huafu asked blankly.

"One that will end this charade."

Li Huafu steadied himself, believing he was prepared for whatever came next.

[Blood Moon Spear Dance]

Spikes of blood extended from the crimson orb and relentlessly attacked Li Huafu.

Multiple strikes assaulted him one after the other, giving him no time to rest.

Each time an attack struck the ground or was blocked by Li Huafu, it would retract back into the orb before attacking Li Huafu again.

The onslaught caused him to start getting pushed back, with Xue Yang following him closely behind.

He expertly managed to block most of the attacks and dodged the others, but as the assault went on, more and more attacks got through, cutting him just like he had cut Xue Yang seconds prior.

With each attack, the blood orb became smaller and smaller, but Li Huafu failed to notice this.

Sweat started forming on his head and ran down his back as he realised his dangerous situation.

Li Huafu had been pushed back a fair bit.

As he stepped backwards, he found himself stepping on fresh corpses surrounding him.

Xue Yang had planned for this and decided it was time to end this fight.

While Li Huafu was distracted by the Blood Moon Spear Dance technique, Xue Yang used its sister technique.

[Bloodthorn Impalement]

Spears of blood shot up from the various corpses near Li Huafu, aiming directly at his joints.

The attacks connected properly and allowed for the Blood Moon Spear Dance to also connect, resulting in Li Huafu becoming riddled with holes and looking like Swiss cheese.

He dropped to his hands and knees, barely clinging to life.

As Xue Yang approached his dying body, he looked up at him, resentful.

"You can make yourself look like a dog as much as you want. I still won't take you in."

Xue Yang smiled before swinging the Crimson Eclipse, decapitating Li Huafu and ending his carnage.

"My lord, I found a man in town that smells like you. What should I do?"

The teen that Xue Yang had turned into a vampire showed up by him, not allowing Xue Yang a moment's rest.

"A Man that smells like me? Take me to them."

'I wonder if it's someone else with my physique…' He mused before shaking his head and smiling at his foolish thoughts.

'No, that's impossible…'

I wonder who the little vamp found?

Also, what do you guys think of Xue Yang's vampiric techniques? These are techniques that he naturally can use, thanks to the fact that he created them.

Other vampires will have different techniques, but some may be shared.

Sorry for the delay in chapters but I was severely lacking sleep, so I found writing hard.
