It took all of Ricco's will not to grimace at Celeste for downgrading Annah. He could write a whole rim of bond paper on how Annah's chocolate colored eyes were far better than Celeste blue ones. For him light eyes were very mundane. But Annah's were exquisitely alluring.

"Do not engage with some worthless hybrid, Celeste. You're better than any of the hybrid." Ricco said, perfectly masking his face with nonchalance.

"I hate her gutsy eyes." Celeste said.

"Hybrids are nothing but dirts in the pigsty. Touching them is like dipping your finger into the swine's dung." Professor said in silent peevish tone. "You're a duke's daughter not a dung cleaner."

Ricco couldn't help himself but smirk in silence. Sometimes, his godfather's petulant remarks would hit the right target and get someone felt shame over their actions.

Celeste only pinned her lips tightly before she excused herself from them along with her followers.
