Friendship into something else

Lincoln's and Wendy's friendship grew by the day and soon the were like BFFs. On one occasion lincoln was speaking to Wendy infront of the class, her beauty was so mesmerizing that he bit his lower lip, not knowing that his canines had elongated who causing him to bleed. Wendy saw this quickly rushed to him out of worry and and accidentally fell on his chest. Henry who came to class met the scene and was shocked to see he wasn't the only one watching the love fest.

Wendy blushed when she removed her face from lincoln's chest. Her blushed deepened when she saw the on lookers watching them.

She watched Lincoln's face and noticed, he wasn't even shy.

"I'm sorry" she mumbled.

Lincoln just gave the class a quick warning gaze and smile back to Wendy .

"Don't worry it is not anything, in fact I think I enjoyed your warmth"

Wendy blushed harder causing her face to look red as a tomato.

(At home)

Lincoln walked into the house with a charming smile.

Erica who was the first to see his smile commented,

"Can someone tell lover boy over here that he should stop teasing those who are still single ?"

"Yeah! he is becoming too much" Josh teased

Lincoln 8gnored all their comments and walked to his room when he spotted his father holding a little transparent bottle with some green sparkling liquid inside.

" Dad what is that? "he asked curiously.

" It is nothing son, just a little glass of anti demon syrup."

" Dad, what is it used for? "

" Nothing interesting, but if you still want to know it is used for killing Demons our sworn enemies "

" Dad why are they our sworn enemies?

"That answer is simple. In the past vampire's and demons where of the same species, before some of them abandoned us and followed the devil .That is how they got the name demons"

" oh, I understand now. Dad I am planning to asked Wendy the big question "

" Oh my son that will be so good. it is high time you get a girlfriend "

Lincoln went to his room and rehearsed his declaration .

" Wendy would you like to be my....no that is too plain what about....we ha e been together for some time now and I think you should .....nah that is too boring. ahhhh!"

Lincoln pulled his her out of frustration .

After some more rehearsal lincoln felt asleep after a long sigh of satisfaction.

(At school)

Lincoln told Henry about his whole plan.

"My friend I'm so happy for you, but to be sincere I'm a little envious ."

"Don't worry, you will always be my best pal"

After class it was finally closing and Wendy was alone. He swiftly approached her and gently used his hands to cover her eyes.

"Guess who it is"

he said in a husky voice in order to prevent her from knowing who it was so easily .

"It's lincoln " she said softly as she removed his hands from her face.

"Can we go out for a while?"lincoln asked charmingly.

"Of course, where do you want to take me?"

"Any where" he whispered softly into her ear. His voice and breath against her skin was like molten lava sliding down an iceberg.It gave her this feeling of warmth she had never experienced before.

"Can we go to my favourite restaurant?"she said after she recovered from her daze.

"Yes my lady" lincoln said as he carried her princess style to his car. When he arrived at his car he placed her down and opened the door of the passengers seat and ushered her in. The duo arrived at a restaurant that overlooked the entire city.

Lincoln ordered for food and as they are he cleared his throat, gaining Wendy's attention.

"Hmm.." he paused and cleared his throat again.

" Wendy" He looked into her eyes and held her hands."Will you be my girlfriend?"he said and quickly searched her eyes looking for the answer.

On the other hand, hazel was going crazy from disbelief. How could she, Wendy Armstrong be the girlfriend of Lincoln.

She also looked into his eyes and saw a hint of fear in them.

"Yes!" she said as she averted her gaze from his charming face. Lincoln who heard this let out a deep sigh of relief. He did not notice he held his breath before she answered.

"My lady" he said as he carried her from her seat and kissed her. I The moment their lips collided, both of them felt warmth they never thought they could feel . The kiss was not deep but conveyed all the love and emotions they had for each other. Still kissing her Lincoln carried her to his car and placed her on passenger seat.

Wendy was trying to figure out the type of flavour of his mouth, then she tasted something. Blood!. She quickly broke the kiss. He stared at Lincoln's face and saw fang marks on his lips, she also noticed that her canines were unusually long. But she ignored and stared at Lincoln who liked his lips as if he just had a delicious ice cream in a hot summer day.

"I'm sorry"she said as she gave him a quick kiss on his lips cleaning the left over blood.

"Oh if this is how your apologies are going to be then I will need you to offend me more often."he joked and smiled at her.

"Let us go now"

The two love birds entered the car, and during which they had a conversation about Lincoln coming for dinner one of the days. They agreed on the next Friday.

Lincoln dropped Wendy home and after a short kiss and good byes he drove ahead. When he went home, he had a smile on his face but that smile faded almost immediately after he saw the gruesome view he met. It was really a bloody scene.
