Prologue

The smell of mildew and the wet soil wafted around the creatures standing in an open field as they waited with agitation. Tension was hanging heavily in the air as each clan braced themselves ready to fight for death.

Soon, growls were heard from the werewolves. Standing opposite them, the vampires got into position. Adjacent to the two clans, the warrior-hunters fixated their gaze above the sky. They watched as the brightness of the moon faded into the background replaced by a crimson shine.

Shortly after, the time has come. Chaos broke loose as the killing began. Blood was spilled everywhere. Roars and cries of fury rang loudly in the open field. Metals clang and some met flesh. It was an appalling sight to behold. Creatures from the three clans screamed menace with every kill they made.

The carnage went on until one half-blooded vampire and a warrior-huntress found themselves the only ones left standing on their solid feet, blood-soaked and breaths heavy. Determined for the fight to be over, the two survivors clutched their weapons tight.

With their metals clashing, thus ended the Vamereriun night.
