Training begins

A sleepy Naruto was standing in the clan's training grounds, beside him was his father.

"Ok Naruto, today we will start your training. You're going to run around the training field until I tell you to stop. got it?" said Minato to his son.

"Hai" Naruto said.

Naruto started running around the training field. At first it turns out to be quite easy for him, but as time went on it became harder and harder.

An hour later Naruto was running slowly panting. He looked at his father who was running beside him and said "Dad I can't take it anymore" Naruto said as he tried to keep running.

Minato gave him a stern look and said "I know you can do more Naruto, take your training seriously" Said Minato.

Naruto sighed at his father's words and went back to running with all his energy.

Minato seeing his son running again was proud 'He's only three years old and he can already run for a whole hour' Minato thought. A few minutes later he shouted 'Ok, you can stop' Minato shouted to his son.

Naruto hearing those words collapsed on the ground tired, running for so long was a great strain on his body.

"Now that we finished the warm up let's start the real training" Said Minato scaring the boy.

"What do you mean this was just the warm up?" Naruto said in shock

"You seriously thought being a Shinobi was that easy? No, being a Shinobi is constantly risking your life, it's a path full of pain and suffering. It's better to leave your skin in training than to die for lack of preparation. This will be the last time I ask you. Are you sure you want to be a shinobi?" asked Minato to his son.

Naruto thought about his dad's question and said "Yes, I want to be strong to protect my family" Naruto said with determination.

Minato looked at him and said "You can be strong without being a ninja Naruto. Being a ninja requires a lot of sacrifices, your life will no longer be yours, it will belong to Konoha and your Hokage. what would you do if your Hokage asks you to kill someone in your family?" Minato asked his son

Naruto hearing his father's words was horrified, he had never thought of that. A ninja is one who can sacrifice everything for his hokage something that is unthinkable for him. He would never go against his family even if it was his hokage's order. Although that wasn't a concern right now, the Hokage is his father so it would be fine to join the village ninja lines.

"I would never kill my family even if they do something bad, but I will become a ninja until you stop being the Hokage. Anyway, you plan to leave the village once you leave the seat. right?" Naruto said to his father

Minato was surprised by his son's words. That was a secret that only he, Kushina, Tsunade and Kenji know. "How do you know that Naruto? Who told you that?" asked Minato.

Naruto upon hearing this became serious and nodded at his father's words.

"Ok, let's start with your training" Minato said.

"What do you know about the Uzumaki clan Naruto?" Minato asked his son.

"I only know what grandpa and mom told me. The Uzumaki clan is one of the royal clans descended from the sage of the six paths, we specialize in fuinjutsu and Kenjutsu" Said Naruto

Minato nodded at his son's words and said "And what do you know about the Namikaze clan?" asked Minato

Naruto looked at him confused, he didn't know anything about his father's family. Naruto looked at his father and shook his head.

"Well, since you're going to start training it's fair to tell you about your other heritage.

The Namikaze clan is not from this continent, the clan was the strongest clan on the western continent. It once dominated half of the continent under its banner, but due to its arrogance it was defeated and its members chased all over the world.

Hikari Namikaze the princess of the clan and Enjin Namikaze fled from the eastern continent and arrived in the elemental nations. Time passed and Hikari became pregnant. On the day of the baby's birth the cultists of Jashin one of the divine legacies found them. Hikari and Enjin died fighting against the cultists, but before Hikari managed to send her child to a safe place. That's how I came to Konoha," Minato explained to his son.

Naruto upon hearing the story of his other clan was saddened, but deep down he was filled with anger and desire for revenge 'One day I will take revenge on the Jashin cultists and then I will go to the western continent to seek revenge on the ones who destroyed the Namikaze clan' Naruto thought

Minato looked at him and could feel the anger growing inside him. "Naruto save your anger. Your grandmother asked me to never seek revenge for what happened to her and her clan" Minato said.

"But you will, won't you daddy? You will seek revenge against everyone who made grandma suffer, won't you?" Naruto said

Minato wanted to deny it, but he knew it was a lie. He will certainly seek revenge

Seeing that Minato didn't deny it Naruto continued "When you go to the western continent I will go with you and help you" Naruto said to his father.

Minato was moved to see his son's support "Ok, but first you must get a lot stronger" Minato said earning a nod from his son

"Now that I explained to you who the Namikaze clan was I will explain our abilities.

The Namikaze clan are descendants of the god of thunder and because of that we have a unique ability, the seven lightning bolts. The seven lightning bolts is an ability that allows us to control seven lightning bolts of different colors," Minato said before wrapping his body with yellow lightning bolts.

Naruto was shocked to see the yellow lightning surrounding his father. As far as he knew the lightning from the jutsu was blue in color.

"This is the yellow lightning, it represents speed. By using it I can..." Said Minato as he suddenly appeared behind Naruto "Move very fast" Said Minato behind his son.

Naruto froze as his father suddenly appeared behind him 'I didn't see him move' thought the boy. " Amazing" Said Naruto

Minato who returned to his original position "The yellow lightning allows me to move at insane speeds, but only that" Suddenly red lightning bolts enveloped Minato, his muscles swelled and grew making him look like a bodybuilder. Minato also grew in height making him reach 2.5 meters tall, his hair stood up and became spiky. Minato looked like Ashura but without the extra arms.

"This is the red lightning, it represents power. When I use it my strength and resistance are multiplied" Minato said as he walked towards a large rock in the field.

As he reached the side of the rock Minato got into an attack stance and gave a powerful punch to the rock

Boooom

The rock shattered, but the shattering didn't stop, behind the rock a huge the earth split in two.

Minato began to sweat, he had used far more force than he wanted to, but when he saw the devastation he made he froze. He had destroyed Kushina's garden. 'I'm FUCKED' thought Minato.

Naruto seeing the powerful attack and the destruction it caused marveled. 'Awesome' thought Naruto as he imagined himself doing the same thing. He looked towards his father and saw that he had a scared expression, confused Naruto looked to where his father was looking and his blood ran cold, he slowly turned in his father's direction and thought 'He's screwed' thought Naruto as he felt sorry for his father. That's his mother's favorite place in the whole town and he just destroyed it

Suddenly Minato made several clones 'Fix the garden'.

"But boss, it's impossible it's all destroyed and there's only rubble left" Clone 1 complained.

" Also, the plants can't be fixed" Clone 2 said and the other clones nodded.

"I don't care fix it fast, and if necessary go out and buy the plants or go to the forest to look for them" Said Minato while in a cold sweat.

The clones grumbled, but followed Minato's order.

Minato looked at his son and said "Not a word about this Naruto" Minato said to the little boy.

Naruto nodded at his father's words, normally he would tease him or blackmail him, but this was very serious

Minato cleared his throat and said "Let's continue. As you have seen red lightning increases strength and stamina greatly, so much so that it is very difficult to control your strength.

The Namikaze clan created a martial art to use the seven lightning bolts more effectively. The martial art was called Denkouken, it is a martial art that focuses on striking with hard tissues to soft tissues of the enemy's body" Said Minato, but stopped when he saw Naruto's raised finger "Tell me Naruto" Said Minato.

"You said it was called seven lightning bolts, but you've only shown me two" Said Naruto

"You're not ready to know yet, I'll tell you about the other lightning bolts once you get to the red lightning" Minato said.

Naruto nodded a little frustrated that he wouldn't be able to see the other lightning bolts. "You said Denkouken focuses on hitting soft tissues with hard tissues, but what are hard or soft tissues?" Naruto asked.

Minato remembered that he was talking to a child who had not started his education 'I had forgotten that he is still a baby who is just starting to learn how to write' Minato thought, Naruto was so smart that Minato forgot that he was still a child

Naruto nodded at his father's explanation.

Minato seeing that he had understood continued "Although you have not yet awakened the seven lightning bolts you can start your training with the denkouken.

We are going to train mainly your stamina and speed since you are still very small and you are still in the growing phase, we won't be able to use too heavy weights" said Minato.

Naruto nodded at his father's words.

"We'll start with something light, you're going to do 100 sit ups, 100 squats and 100 push ups" Said Minato

Naruto was surprised by the workout, the workout his father gave him didn't seem like much. He had always seen Urara and Usagi do pushups, situps and squats and it didn't seem too hard

"Start" Minato ordered.

Naruto started doing the squats he did fifty and didn't find it hard at all but as he did the other fifty his thighs started to burn. Naruto managed to do the squats but it wasn't as easy as he thought.

"Okay, now the sit-ups" Said Minato.

"Hai" Naruto said as he laid down.

Again Naruto was able to do the sit-ups, but these cost them more than the squats

"Push-ups" Said Minato without letting him rest.

Naruto out of breath from the pushups did what his father ordered him to do

He was able to do ten effortlessly, but his arms quickly began to burn from exhaustion

"15, 16, 17, ... 18, ... ... 20, ... ... ... ... 2 1," When he said 21 he collapsed to the floor unable to do even one more.

"DON'T BE VAGUE NARUTO, IF YOU CAN'T DO A FEW SIMPLE PUSH-UPS HOW YOU SAY YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR FAMILY" Minato shouted.

Naruto hearing his words first got angry, but then his eyes filled with determination 'If I can't do this I won't be able to protect my family' thought the boy as he got into position again.

He did the push-ups again and made it all the way to sixty, but again his arms were starting to shake.

"61, 62, 63, ... 64, ..." Naruto counted with difficulty

"COME ON NARUTO, YOU CAN DO IT. AREN'T YOU AN UZUMAKI? AREN'T YOU THE ONE WHO HAD FOUR GIRLFRIENDS? HOW DO YOU PLAN TO PROTECT THEM IF YOU CAN'T EVEN DO A HUNDRED PUSH-UPS? I'M SURE SASUKE CAN DO IT, WHAT WILL YOUR GIRLFRIENDS SAY WHEN THEY FIND OUT THAT THEIR BOYFRIEND CAN'T EVEN DO A HUNDRED PUSH-UPS AND SASUKE CAN. YOU WILL BE LUCKY IF THEY DECIDE NOT TO CHANGE YOU FOR HIM" Minato shouted.

"NOOOO" Naruto shouted as his eyes glowed with determination, just imagining losing his girlfriends to Sasuke filled him with anger and determination.

Naruto started doing the pushups at an astonishing speed.

"98, 99, 100" When he reached a hundred he collapsed on the floor tired and gasping.

Minato looked at him proudly, but kicked him lightly "Come on, get up. Training has just begun. I want you to do four laps around the training field and when you're done come back here to repeat the training you just did" Said Minato

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT" Naruto shouted in disbelief 'I can barely do this workout and he wants me to run around the field and once I finish it repeat the push-ups, sit-ups and squats. This is crazy' complained the boy mentally.

"COME ON START RUNNING BEFORE I ADD ONE MORE LAP. NOW!" shouted Minato

Naruto quickly stood up and did as his father had ordered. Naruto started to run

"Faster Naruto" Minato ordered.

Naruto quickened his pace, once he finished the laps he sat down to catch his breath.

"WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU CAN SIT DOWN? GET UP AND DO THE SQUATS NOW" Minato ordered.

Naruto managed to do the squats and sit-ups but the push-ups cost him more.

Once he finished the push-ups he thought he was done but what Minato said appalled him

"GET UP AND START RUNNING, COME ON, FOUR MORE LAPS AND THEN REPEAT THE SERIES" Minato shouted.

An hour later Naruto was finishing his fifth series.

"98, ... ... ... ... ... 99, ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... 100" When he finished counting he collapsed on the ground exhausted.

Minato looked at him proudly and said "Ok, we're done for the day, it's time for you to start training with your mother" Minato said.

Naruto who was lying on the ground recovering his breath perked up when he heard that they had finished the training, but was horrified to hear that he now had to go to his mother

"Dad, I can't take it anymore, how can I go train with mom?" said Naruto

"Relax, the training with your mom won't be physical. From today I will train your physique to the maximum in the morning and in the afternoon your mother will train your mind, that is to say you will study fuinjutsu, anatomy, physics, mathematics, science, and technology. Besides that you will learn to meditate" said Minato.

Naruto was even more horrified when he heard that, even though he learns everything very easily, studying is still very boring.

Kushina who had already finished her work at the company came to the training camp to pick up her son and start with his studies. When she arrived at the camp she saw them, Naruto was lying exhausted and Minato was next to him. Kushina smiled seeing this scene, but something caught her attention her garden didn't look like before. Although it looked the same as before she could tell the difference, the flowers were not in the same place and the trees looked different.

Kushina walked over to the garden and took a closer look and realized something was wrong. She walked over to her favorite bench and touched it with a little force.

The bench made of stone started to break not only that, the ground underneath Kushina and her garden started to shake and crumble.

Kushina and her garden fell into the crater created by Minato's blow.

Kushina looked around confused and somewhat pained by the fall, but that didn't matter to her, the important thing, her garden the place she used to come to relax, the place where she met with her friends was destroyed. Her eyes filled with tears, but quickly the sadness turned to anger.

"MINATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
